My Top Ten Best and Six Worst Movies of 2018

With 2018 coming to end here is my top ten favourite films of 2018 

and worst top ten too.

1. Green Book 

This one of the best films I've seen this year its so well directed and story behind is amazing. Viggo and Mahershala Ali were amazing this film. 

2. Black Panther 

This my favourite superhero film this year it was big game changer and it has such a great story, brilliant effects, Ryan Coogler's best work, and Micahel B Jordan is the best marvel villain until Thanos lol.  

3. Spiderman Into The Spider-Verse 

This is by far the best Spiderman movie right now and it's also the best animated film this year. I mean animation is fantastic and voice acting is amazing especially Nicolas Cage as Spider-Man Noir. 

4. Avengers Infinity War 

This one of the most epic films this year I mean it just ended on such cliff like Marvel step up their game I mean Thanos is just one of best written villains in film. This film blew my mind and I hope Avengers 4 doesn't screw up and really hope it focus more on the original six and they defeat Thanos in the end. 

5. Ready Player One 

This movie was awesome like who knows maybe the world will be like couple more years lol. This movie is basically the biggest crossover film because you almost every character in fiction in this. I recommend this film for everyone to watch it's the biggest pop culture film. 

6. Bohemian Rhapsody 

Despite the mixed write ups I love this film like Rami Malek was just awesome and the music was awesome as always after this movie you will be listing to queen all day. 

7. Isle of Dogs 

I love this film and if you're dog person or Wes Anderson fan you got to see this movie I think it's the second best animated film. 

8. Aquaman 

This movie restored my faith DC and thats all I need to say. 

9. Deadpool 2  

I actually love the first film more but I still really enjoy this film a lot and Zazie Beetz was amazing in this film hope she's get spin off. Also Disney when you buyout Fox keep Deadpool rated R it just doesn't work as PG 13 unless its a team up with Spider-Man or the Avengers yeah sure it can work.

10. Wreck It Ralph 2 

Wasn't good as the first one I felt the first one had more heart to it but this one was still good and lets be honest the Disney Princesses steal the show and they were the best thing in the whole film.

Now here is the worst films I've seen this year!

1. Fifty Shades Freed 

So awful I only went to see this piece of crap because I was on date. Luckily my date had to leave because she got a call from aunt and I am so thankful her aunt got us out of this piece of garbage. Ugh don't see this movie its awful. 

2. A Wrinkle in Time 

 I just felt this film wasn't that good, I have nothing against the cast and crew I mean Ava DuVernay is fantastic director I just felt she was out of her element here.  I just didn't like this film that's all just felt the story was really weak. 

3. Rampage

As much we love the Rock this was not his best film and no it didn't break that video game adaption curse. It will take awhile for there to be a good video game adaption.

4. Venom  

Worst superhero film this year I mean the plot is weak, the editing is bad, and I just don't like this film. The only thing good was Tom Hardy and I do agree this Venom is better than Topher Grace's Venom. I truly think Sony has better opportunity making an animated Spider-Verse Cinematic Universe instead live action that's just my opinion.   

5. Solo: A Star Wars Story

Lets be honest Star Wars is huge mess right now and this film sucked. Like if Kathleen Kenedy hadn't fired Peter Lord and Chris Miller the film would have been a huge hit because those guys made Spider Verse! I really hope Kathleen Kennedy along with Lucasfilm and Disney see Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse and realize what huge mistake they made by firing Phil Lord and Chris Miller. 

6. Pacific Rim 2 

Wasn't as good as the first one like giant robots are cool but the story needs to be good and needs more of the original characters back.

Aquaman Review

So I saw Aquaman Friday and here's my review of it....My Faith DC Films has been restored because of this movie! I love this film like it was funny, epic, the effects were great, the story was good, and it's such a fun movie to watch.  This one of the best DC Films since Wonder Woman its on the same level with it. 

The cast in this movie was were all amazing like first Aquaman himself Jason Momoa was amazing he nailed the this role perfectly. If you read my review of Justice League I already talk about how great he was Aquaman.  He stole the show, he was funny, bad ass, and really cool. I should know I've met Aquaman.

I told him he was restoring my faith 

in DC and he smile and laugh. 

The rest of the cast were great too like Amber Heard as Mera she was amazing in that movie and her character was really cool. Mera's powers were really cool too and Amber Heard like Jason she nailed this role. I also like the relationship between Mera and Arthur it's very well written and the development of their relationship is good too. 

The best DC villains since Zod.

 

Patrick Wilson was great as Ocean Master and Yahya Abdul Mateen was great as Black Manta. Okay, I'm going to say it Ocean Master and Black Manta are the best DC villains we've gotten so far since Zod from Man of Steel. Lets be honest DC's villains haven't been all that great in awhile and Aquaman has given us great written villains. 

DC I have faith in you again. 

The rest of cast all did a great a job and the effects of the film were amazing. One thing that was awesome was seeing how people talked underwater like it was so cool. I love this film and like I said before it has restore my faith in DC Films. 

To be honest this film is basically DC's Black Panther if you think about it.

Except the only difference is Kilmonger is the Hero and T'Challa is the Villain.

I give this film a 8 out 10 go see it! It's great movie to end 2018, but I will say there were a few moments in the film that were kind of too goofy but none the less I still like this movie a lot and I can't wait to see Captain Marvel this April....oh sorry I mean Shazam LOL.

Spiderman Into The Spider Verse Review

So I saw Spiderman Into The Spider Verse yesterday and here's my review of it.....I love it. It was amazing, specular, sensational, and so funny too. This is one of the best Spiderman Movies I've seen. I dare say I loved it more than Homecoming and Spiderman 2 but thats up for debate. The animation was fantastic, the characters in the film were funny, awesome, and well written. I had such a blast with this film and it had a lot of heart to it and this film is also very inspiring film as well.  

Miles, Gwen, and Peter steal the show until 

Spiderman Noir comes in. the characters like Miles Morales he is one of the best characters in the whole film,. I like that you can relate to all these characters and what they go through. I feel this film is spiritual successor to Sam Raimi's Spiderman trilogy in because there is a lot of easter eggs in the film. Also Nicholas Cage as SpiderMan Noir was just spot on perfect. He was the funniest character in the whole movie.  Also, Spider Pork and Peni Parker were also really funny and super cool. 

This Peter Parker is the loveable loser.

 I find that this film is a lot better than The Incredibles 2.  The story is better, characters more relatable, and it's way funnier. This is the best animated movie I've seen all year and I hope it wins best animated film. It's funny too because Sony gave us the worst animated film of all time last year, the Emoji Movie and this year they give us  the best animated film. Well, actually that's debatable because i loved this and Isle of Dogs. I highly recommend you go see it. You will have a blast with this film.  

I give this film a 9 out of 10. GO SEE IT!!! Also If you didn't like Venom you will love this because Venom was a turd.  This film is 10 times better. I'm looking forward to more Spider Verse films in future.  If you ask me, Sony should focus more on building a animated Spider Verse instead of a live action film.  One last thing, this film has a great tribute to Stan Lee that made me smile.

Now I know Ang Lee directed that crappy Hulk movie back in 2003, but that's in the past now.

Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2 and Kung Fu Panda 3.)

Stephen Chow (Shaolin Soccer, Kung Fu Hustle, and Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons.)

Justin Lin (Star Trek Beyond, Fast 5, and Fast and Furious 6.)

John Woo (A Better Tomorrow, The Killer, Red Cliff, and Face Off.)

My First choice for director would be Ang Lee and my second would be Stephen Chow.
