Pirates of the Caribbean Reboot Ideas.

Reboot Ideas and How to Fix it.

The first one is the best one out of all them. 

Now we all love Pirates of the Caribbean despite some of its films not being well received. Now there have been talks of a sixth film with or without Johnny Depp and there are rumours that suggest the next film will be a reboot with Karen Gillain as the main lead.

 Now as much I love Karen Gillian there are many who worried that if they do a female lead she could be like Rey, were she's better than Jack, she's always right,  and she talks down to Jack. Like thats not what we want to see in a protagonist we want an actual good lead who makes mistakes, Who's relatable, and isn't always right. I think a female protagonist in a Pirates film could work if its done right like I love Karen Gillian and I think she would be great as a lead in these films but I want her character to be well written. There is talk of Jack Sparrow being in the next film and it would be a send off for him and it will be a passing of the torch. 

After everything that has happen to Johnny he needs a win and like Iron Man and Logan, Jack Sparrow needs a great send off.

Now there is the idea Disney is going to make spin offs and like Karen Gillain's Pirates film will be in the same universe but has separate story arc that may or may not connect to the main films. Pirates 6 could just be about Jack, Will, and Elizabeth again which we need to have and unlike that last one they can't waste any opportunities on that. I do have problems with Pirates 4 and 5 but I'm hoping 6 will make it up and give the characters we have grown to love over the years are given with a proper send offs and get one last epic adventure.  

Here are my ideas on how they can reboot the series and what they should do with the series but also giving Jack Sparrow a proper send off. 

Make a two TV Series one live action and one animated.

Now this one thing I think Disney needs to do is make a tv series of Pirates of the Caribbean. I would suggest they make one live action series with a new protagonist and whole new cast. As well I would look at the Mandorian and Black Sails for inspiration for a tv series and it needs a good Show runner. The series should focus on different parts of the world we haven't seen yet and maybe have references or mentions of Jack Sparrow or Barbossa. I would have the series set after the events of Pirates of the Caribbean films or maybe its set before the films. A live action tv series would be a big help it would be fresh and new as well again, look at Mandorian because it has saved Star Wars right now and Black Sails would be a big help but it would have to be the more PG 13 rated Black Sails.

Now for the animated one I would make it a kids show thats fun, full of adventure, funny, and is full of mystery. I would look at Gravity Falls and Ducktales for ideas for an animated series of Pirates of the Caribbean. I would have the animated series follow a younger Jack Sparrow as teenager going on adventures because there is a book series about a young Jack Sparrow that could work as a kids show.   

The animated one is more for kids and the live action would appeal more to adults. The animated could get kids of this generation into this series and the live action could be for the older fans of the series since 2003. 

Still make the Karen Gillain's Pirates film but make its own thing. 

I love Karen Gillain she's awesome I even met her once at Fan Expo.

I would't mind seeing her be the lead in a Pirates of Caribbean Reboot. I just want the film to be good and something thats not forced down our throats or full of identity politics. I just want her character to be interesting and fun to see on screen. Like if they want to retire Jack what they need to do is gave him a proper send off and if you want follow Karen's character next you have to make her interesting and fun as well we don't want her being better than Jack, we want to see what's she good at and how is she different from Jack. We want her to be a good character but we don't want her to be like Rey or Michael. If this film happens it needs to be its own thing, it can be in the same universe but let's see this character go to places we haven't gone before, let's see her face dangers were she might die, she's got be funny, adventurist, making mistakes but making it right, and let's not make her a copy of Jack let's make her own thing. Not better or worse just her own character that is different from Jack but just as likeable as him.

You know Redhead from the ride.

As well I heard she might be playing Redhead and that be a fitting name for her character and one of her trade marks is she is one of the best gun shooters in the Caribbean. 

Give Jack, Will, and Elizabeth a proper send off in the sixth film.

Now we love these three characters very much they are part of our childhood. Jack we love because he's funny, weird, and so likeable. Will is the hero we want to be, someone we can relate too, and always tries to save his family, Elizabeth is a strong female lead because she wants to explore, fight, and be a pirate which she does and she becomes King of Pirates. For the sixth film you have to give these characters a great send off because these actors likely want to move on from the series. What the sixth film needs to do is it has to focus on those three characters one last time and give them all proper send offs like they should look at Avengers Endgame for inspiration. I will admit Geoffery Rush's send off in Dead Men Tell No Tales was really good.  Like in the end he dies a hero and tells his daughter he loves her. We need something like that for these three characters give them a great send off that will leave us in tears and make us happy too. Like if they want to kill off Jack but he dies a hero and becomes a legendary pirate that would work. If you want to have Will and Elizabeth live a peaceful life away from Pirates that would work too. Like those type of send offs is what we need.

 Gibbs needs a good send off as well.

Gibb's has been part of this series for a long time too and he's become a fan favourite in the franchise.

Give Gibbs a good send off too like maybe he becomes a Captain of his own ship and crew. 

Or he retires from sailing and writes a book about Jack Sparrow and The Black Pearl and he calls it

Pirates of the Caribbean.

Maybe Continue the series but focus on the children of Will, Elizabeth, Barbossa, and Jack if he has any children. 

Now this is another idea after you retire Jack, Will, and Elizabeth maybe focus on the children of the characters. I think that could work like focus on the children of these characters we were interduce to Will and Elizabeth's son Henry and Barbossa's daughter Carina. As well they could do a movie that could focus on Jack Sparrow's kid like his son or daughter too. It depends though if they give Jack a kid or not in the next film or Karen's character is Jack's kid.  Besides the fifth film ended with Henry and Carina kissing likely we could see series with them as main leads going on adventures on the high seas and maybe Henry forms his own crew or he is captain of the Black Pearl now. There are so many ideas where this franchise could go to with new characters and respecting the old characters too.

Most of all just give us something new and get good directors, and writers behind it.

Truth is we just want these films to be good like I mean if Transformers can go from box office hit with negative reviews to something that actually focuses on character development and story like Bumblebee did, theres hope for Pirates of the Caribbean too. We just want to see this franchise to be good and entertaining we loved the first three films but forth and fifth were let downs. This franchise has so much potential to be something great and we need to see this franchise get better.

Now look at the Transformers films all they were box office hits with terrible stories and bad writers. Michael Bay was to blame mostly for that but now we got a good transformers last year and that was Bumblebee. Bumblebee had characters and story that is now setting up a much better Transformers Cinematic Universe. Pirates needs to have a good director, good writers, and most of all a good story that is entertaining to watch.  

So that's my Reboot Ideas for the Pirates of the Caribbean I feel like this franchise really needs to get back on it feet. This series shouldn't die on a whimper or be forgotten like there is so much more they can do with it. I really hope the Disney give series a proper send off to Captain Jack Sparrow and interduce new characters that will be just as great as Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swan were. 

What I want to see in Dragon Age 4: The Dread Wolf Rises

What I want to see in Dragon Age The Dread Wolf Rises.

With Dragon Age The Dread Wolf Rises on its way I'm going to tell you what I want to see in the next Dragon Age. Even though I don't like EA games because they have made nothing but pure shit unless you account Fallen Order which got great write ups, but I give full credit to Respawn for that game's successes. 

To be honest I am excited but I'm very nervous and I have doubts on the next Dragon Age game being good I mean have you seen what EA did with Mass Effect.

My cousin and one of my friends told me how awful this game was. 

It killed the franchise and they did warn me that Dragon Age could suffer the same fate as this franchise did.  As well I hear Antthem is terrible too.

As well EA is one of the worse gaming companies right now and what's sadder other gaming companies like Naughty Dog are going down the route. 

Now for the record I did love EA games they have given us some of the best games I have ever played but they have fallen from grace and now Naughty Dog has fallen from grace too.

But I do hope Bioware gets their shit together and hopefully they will go back to there roots and a lot of us want them to depart from EA games. Bioware has given us great games but now they are falling from grace too and thats why were worried about Dragon Age 4.



Now here is what I want to see in Dragon Age 4.

6. Let's see more of Thedas.

Now the forth game is hinted to be set in Tevinter because in the end of Trespasser Solas is planning to destroy the world and start it a new and all of the elves of Thedas are joining him. Now in the end of the game you can either vow to save Solas and show him this world is worth saving or vowing to stop him by any means. Now I want to see in the next game is I don't want to just stay in Tevinter I want to explore other parts of Thedas. I would love to go to Antiva, Par Vollen, More Cities in the Free Marches, Nevarra, and Anderfels. In the forth game we need to see these lands and see what their culture is like and what their style of living is like. I would also love to go Antiva it seems like a very fun place to go and party LOL.


5. Let's pick our new character's place of birth or their level in society.

Now it is likely in the next game we will create a new character or possibly still play as our inquisitor, but I don't think Bioware wants this game to be like Mass Effect they did that with Dragon Age 2 and fans weren't happy. There are couple of things I do want to see in the character creation like we can choose what nationality are character is from like Ferelden, Orlais, Antiva, Tevinator, or Free Marches. Also we could pick that are characters are from noble or commoner descend and we need to have better hair styles in the next game too lol. I think it would be fun to do this were we choose where are character is from not just what race or gender they are but what kingdom or land do they come from and our they nobles or commoners.


4. More Female Romance Options.

 Now this something that bother me in Inquisition was there was not enough female romance options just three female love interests and five male love interests. For the next game add more female romance options like have a fair equal amount like five female and five male.  Now for the record I love the women in Dragon Age like the three women he Morrigan, Isabela, and Cassandra were the women romance in all three games and they are my favourite characters. They are very likeable, fun, they have great character development if you help them on their personal quest, and even though despite Cassandra talking about the Maker this or Maker that is annoying as hell but she is still a great character and one of my best warriors.
Fun Fact I actually wasn't going to romance her at first but after seeing her the first time I played the game I really liked her and I decided I'm going to romance this characters because underneath she's a softy who loves romance novels. Still for the next game give us more female romance options because if you're going to have five male romance options you should at least have the same for female characters.


3. Bring back our Wardens.

Now we all want to see our Wardens come back in a future game and I feel like Bioware needs to bring back our Wardens. I know its unlikely but It would be really cool.  Like I would love to see my Warden, Hawke, and Inquisitor meet for the first time it would be so cool to see them interact. It would also be cool to see my warden speak for the first time unless Bioware announces a Dragon Age Origins Remastered/Remake and the Warden actually talks this time that would be cool. If our Wardens don't appear in the next game or they are just being talked about a lot thats fine too.


2. Don't make the same awful mistakes that Mass Effect Andromeda did.

Dragon Age needs to avoid the same mistakes as Mass Effect Andromeda did. Take your time with the game, don't make the characters look too weird, try to fix any glitches, most of all write a good story that has a proper follow up to this franchise, don't waste great characters that we have loved for the past ten years, don't make the female characters less attractive and weird looking because I don't understand why they did that, and most of all don't force identity politics down our throats. That's another thing lay off the wokeness in the next game we can have more diverse characters and more LGBT characters in the next game but focus more on the story and write some really good characters with good character development that we can either grow to love or hate.

Like if you ask me Bioware needs to look at the Witcher 3 and Breath of the Wild on how to make a great fantasy game.

Let's see reunion wth all the past characters from the three games.

More Wicked Grace game scenes.

I have theory Meredith could return because the idol is shown in the teaser possibly hinting at something. Also the book Dragon Age Tevinter Nights shows Solas taking the statue so this could hint of the possibility of Meredith returning for revenge on Hawke.

Have some of the past companions be party members in Dragon Age 4 like I can see Fenris, Dorian, and Sten being party members depending if they will appear.

Possibly have a choice to either end slavery in Tenvinter or keep it going, join an elf rebellion to overthrow the Magisters or side with the Magisters which it will give a great advantage against Solas but a great cost.

As well let's see what really happened when the Magisters of old enter the fade lets finally learn the truth on what happened that day.

Also in character creation add more voices to chooses for your new character I would love to have Nolan North or Steve Blum be the voice of my next character.

1. Take Inspiration from Breath of the Wild and The Witcher 3

 

 Now when Bioware was making Dragon Age 3 they looked at Skyrim for inspiration and it help them a great deal. Dragon Age Inquisition was a big hit, winning best game of the year, and fans loved it. Bioware should do the same for Dragon Age The Dread Wolf Rises but I would recommend they look at Breath of the Wild and The Witcher 3 for those two games can be a huge help in making of Dragon Age The Dread Wolf Rises really great fantasy game.

So that is what I want to see in the next Dragon Age game.

Now we don't know what the future holds for the game but I am right now mixed like I want this game to be good but I have doubts because of some of the stupid crap EA has done. Still, I could be wrong and a forth game could be a hit because maybe one day Bioware and EA will get their act together. We are kind of seeing that with Star Wars Fallen Order so that could be good sign.
