Knuckles Review

Knuckles Review

So, I watched all of Knuckles' TV series, and here's my review of the show. It was meh. Like this show wasn't as good as the first two Sonic films. The focus of this show wasn't Knuckles but Wade, the officer who works with Tom. It's all about Knuckles mentoring Wade into becoming a warrior. At least the Sonic movies didn't do that with Sonic; Sonic 2 gave Knuckles better screen time than this show.
Also, the show's villains want to capture Knuckles and use his powers, and villains I find were boring. The story is meh. The action scenes are good, but the story falls flat. It's basically about bowling and Wade meeting his long-lost dad, who is a deadbeat dad who doesn't care about his family. Like we haven't seen that before the deadbeat dad trope. The cast of the show all do a great job playing their characters, and I did like the first two episodes of the show, but the rest of the episodes got boring. I liked Knuckles's friendship with Wade; those two were funny together, but the story could have been better. The villains could have been better, too.

Looking ahead, I believe the show would have worked better if they had explored more of Knuckles' origin, delving deeper into the Sonic mythos, and introduced more characters from the games like Amy Rose, Rouge the Bat, Vector the Crocodile, or Mighty the Armadillo could enrich the narrative. A teaser for 'Sonic 3' would also be a welcome addition. I'm curious to see how the series evolves in future episodes or seasons. Like if they do a second season please make Knuckles the main focus of the show don't pull an MCU sidelining your main lead for a co-lead. It's a really annoying trope because we want Knuckles, not Wade.
Overall, I give this show a 6 out of 10.
If you like it, that's fine; if you don't, that's fine too.
Let me know what you think.

My thoughts on the new Lord of the Rings film The Hunt For Gollum.

My thoughts on the new Lord of the Rings film The Hunt for Gollum.

So, if you have or haven't heard the news, we are getting a new Lord of the Rings movie with Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and Andy Serkis returning to the franchise.

Peter Jackson will produce and write the film while Andy, aka Gollum, will direct and star. Andy is a good director, and even though most of his movies are mixed by critics and audiences, he knows this character better than anyone. Andy also has unfinished business with that stinker, one of the writers said.

Philippa Boyens and Fran Walsh are also coming back, so you know this movie is in good hands with people who respect Tolkien's work, unlike the Rings of Power writers. Andy even called these three writers the Guardians of Middle Earth because like I wrote before they know how to respect and honor Tolkien's work. How to properly adapt on screen.
Many people who heard this news at first thought we were getting a film set in the First Age based on the Silmarillion or Second Age. We're not getting another film set around the Third Age, and it's a story about Aragorn hunting for Gollum. It's a short story, and a fan film was made about it. It was a good movie; you should watch it on YouTube. From what I know, the story will have Gollum, Aragorn, Gandalf, and Legolas's father King Thranduli.
I know some people are worried that this could be another Hobbit but I don't think it will be.
The story won't just be about Aragorn hunting Gollum to learn more about the One Ring; I think the film will also explore Gollum's origins.
In Return of the King, we see the character Stoor and how he killed his cousin to get the Ring. We never see his family, and what he did got him banished from his home. We know in the opening of the film, Gollum says they cursed us, called him a murderer, and drove him away. So we know he was banished for using the Ring to steal, to find out secrets to use them for his own benefit, and they found out he killed Deagol. So I can see them exploring that and showing him leaving his cave to find the Ring.
Exploring Smeagol's origins and meeting his grandmother, who led these stoor hobbits in the Gladden Fields, will be interesting. We will likely get some original characters who are stoor hobbits and who were family and friends with Smeagol until the Ring. This film's tragedy is that no one in Smeagol's family or friends ever tried to help him with the Ring. Unlike Bilbo and Frodo, who were helped by friends with the Ring, sadly, he didn't get that. Smeagol's life is a sad story.

Aragorn will be in the film, but Viggo will not play the character in this film. He is now 65 years old. My friend and I talked about it, and they will likely recast the character with a new actor. I hope whoever they cast he closely resembles Viggo. This film could also show Aargorn's time as a ranger; we see him as Chief of the Dundien Rangers. That would be cool. Also, one of my friends suggested that Viggo could be Aragorn's father in a flashback scene. That would be cool.
Gandalf will be in this film, and even though Ian McKellen is now 84 years old, I can see him returning.
Even Ian said once he wanted to play Gandalf one last time, and this movie is the opportunity. So it's likely Ian will get to play Gandalf one more time in this film.
Now they have also announced a second film. I hope it's not part 2 of the Hunt of Gollum because you can make that into one solid film. If you ask me, they should adapt the Battle of Dale during the War of the Ring. In the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, Legolas mentions that war has already marched on Erebor. So, the next film should explore this storyline.
(Google Image)
The Battle of Dale is when Sauron sends the majority of the Eastern Army to Dale to take the Lonely Mountain and prevent any aid to Gondor. This story focuses on Bard's grandson and King Dain Ironfoot as they fight to protect their homes against the Easternlings. This would be a cool storyline adapted, and we could see the Easterlings' point of view in this film. This is just a suggestion because you can tell the Hunt for Gollum in one film, not two.
I'm also excited to watch The War of the Rohirrim, which looks promising. Miranda Otto is coming back to narrate the film, too.
So I'm very excited about these two films but not Rings of Power Season 2. You know how I feel about that show; I'm not fond of it at all. It had writers and producers who just wanted to add their own agendas to Tolkien's work, especially when they said they wanted it to reflect the real world. They made too many changes to the lore that don't work at all.
To anyone who likes that show, that's fine; I don't like it, and if you like it, that's fine.

That's my thoughts on the upcoming new Lord of the Rings movie. I am excited about this film, and I hope it's good. It's in good hands, and I hope it delivers in 2026. So, what do you think? Are you excited for this upcoming film? Let me know.
Before I end this, like many others, I was hoping for adaptions of stories from the First Age. Unfortunately, that's a no-go because of the Tolkien Estate. They are very protective of the rights of Tolkien's other work.
It would be cool to see a Beren and Luthien movie, The Children of Hurin, The Fall Of Gondolin, or even a War of Wraith movie. We may get that someday.

The Fall Guy Review

The Fall Guy Review

So, I saw The Fall Guy yesterday, and here's my review...I loved it. This was a funny action movie, and the stun scenes in this film are fantastic. The cast of this whole film does a great job playing their characters. Ryan Gosling nails it in this movie, along with Emily Blunt. I also loved Winston Duke, Hannah Waddingham, and Aaron Taylor Johnson. This film has some great songs, and I love its story. It's a fun, good movie. I highly recommend this film. I give this film an 8 out of 10. This is one of my favorite films of this year.

The Beekeeper

The Beekeeper Review

So, I saw The Beekeeper last night, and here's my review. The film was fun. It's just an entertaining action film starting with Jason Statham. I like Jason Statham's films, and this was his best film. This movie was fun and violent, and basically, it's John Wick. If he was a beekeeper who wanted revenge for bees and this lady he worked for who was hacked and all her money stolen. Overall, it's a good action film, and that's all it needs to be a fun movie. I give Beekeeper a 7 out of 10.

Godzilla X Kong Review

My review of Godzilla X Kong

So I saw Godzilla X Kong, and here's my review of it...I liked it. I had a fun time with this film. I love the action in the film and the fights between Godzilla and Kong against Skar King. For a villain who's just a giant red ape, he was a good villain. The film's cast does a good job, and this film follows Kong's point of view. You see him bond with a baby Kong called Suko when he meets other apes. The film had some incredible action, and seeing Godzilla and Kong fight together was excellent.

Overall, I loved this film and had a fun time with it. I give it a 7 out of 10.

Hundreds of Beavers Review

Hundreds of Beavers Review

So I saw this movie on Tuesday called Hundreds of Beavers, and I have to say it was a funny movie to watch. It's an indie film that uses slapstick-style comedy like Looney Tunes. The film is about a guy named Jean who goes from an apple cinder salesman to trying to become the best furrier to win the heart of a merchant's daughter. The film is really funny because all the animals are just people in costumes.

Fun fact: this film only used six beaver costumes, and the entire movie is black and white. The cast is full of unknown actors, but they all do a great job, and every cast member had me laughing.
If you're a fan of slapstick comedies like Looney Tunes, hundreds of Beavers is a must-watch. This film is a laugh riot from start to finish, with its clever use of humor and witty dialogue. It's a perfect choice for a light-hearted movie night.
I give it a 9 out of 10.
It's a funny movie, and I enjoyed watching it.

Dune Part 2 Review

My Review of Dune Part 2.

So, I finally saw Dune Part 2, and here's my review of it...I loved it like this was a great film. It was full of action and significant effects, and the story was much better than part 1. The film picks up after the first film, in which Paul and his mother join the Fremen as they believe Paul is a prophet. The film also introduces Princess Irulan, played by Florence Pugh, and Emperor, played by Christopher Walken.

The film also dives into the romance between Paul and Chani. It's well done, and you feel for the two.
Both Timothee and Zendaya deliver stellar performances, showcasing their undeniable talent. This film is a testament to their acting prowess, and they truly shine in their roles. This is Timothee's best performance since Wonka.

I loved Florence's performance in the film and she will no doubt play a bigger role in the next film. I liked her relationship with her father and I was pretty shocked by some revelations about the Emperor's family and goals.
One of the best actors in the film was Austin Butler. He nailed it as the villain Feyd-Rautha, and he was a scary villain. In this film, we see House Harkonnen at their most evil, and we learn shocking stuff about Harkonnen and Paul's family, House Atreides.

The effects in this film are fantastic. The worms are so cool, and I love how Paul and Freman ride the worms through deserts. I love the end battle scene, and now I want to see part 3 as soon as possible.

I loved this film, and the cast is great. Everyone in this film is incredible, and the acting is some of the best I've seen this year. I give Dune Part 2 a 9 out of 10.
Go see it, but watch Part 1 before you see Part 2.

Top 5 Films that are now 20 Years Old

Top 5 films from 2004 that are now 20 years old.

2004 for was a great year and I still remember being a kid seeing some great films from that time. So here is my top five films of 2004.

1. Spider-Man 2

What I can say I love this film as a kid. To me it's still one of the best Spider-Man films out there.
This film had me the edge of my seat and I just love this Spider-Man film because it was made with love and great storytelling. It's sad Spider-Man 3 failed but hey you can blame that on studio interference.
Still hoping for Spider-Man 4.

2. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azakban

I've talked about this movie before and it's still the game changer in the Harry Potter series. I remember seeing the trailer and realizing wow this is going to be a darker and more scarier film. I hope the tv series reboot is good.

3. Shrek 2

I loved this movie and to me Shrek 2 is how you do a proper animated sequel.
This film is better than the first film and I love the climax with I Need A Hero playing. It sucks that Shrek 3 and 4 sucked, but hey I'm hoping Shrek 5 will be great like Puss in Boots The Last Wish.

4. The Incredibles

The Incredibles is one of the best Pixar films out there and it's basically the only good Fantastic 4 film.
It's shame the sequel didn't live up to the first film. They should have done a time skip instead of picking up where they left off.

5. Shaun of the Dead

To be honest, I didn't watch this film until years later but this a great horror comedy film and one of my favourite Edger Wright films. It's hard to believe it's now 20 years old.

So those are my top 2004 films that are now 20 years old. Let me know your favourite films from 2004. Let me know what you think.

Tarzan Review

Tarzan Review
To celebrate 25 years of this great film, the last film of the Renaissance era, here is my review of Tarzan. This film still holds up years later, and the music by Phil Collins still holds up. Tarzan is about a man raised by apes after his parents are killed by Sabor the Leopard. There have been many adaptations of Tarzan films from the past, but this one is my favorite Disney film.

Tarzan's relationship with Kala is well-written, and you feel the characters. He lost his parents, and she lost her son. The Two Worlds, One Family song shows that, and I have to say the scene where Tarzan says goodbye to Kala is a tearjerker. My mom cried at the scene.

"No matter where I go. You will always be my mother."
This film has great animation and storytelling. As we see, Tarzan wants to be accepted by the apes, especially his adoptive father, Kerchak, who doesn't like him. The only ones who accept and love him are his Kala, who loves him after she lost her son, and, of course, Turk and Tantaor.
I love these two characters, voiced by Rosie O'Donnell and Wayne Knight.
They are some of the funniest characters in the film, especially Tantaor. As well Turk was funny too and fun fact originally Turk was a male ape but he wasn't Tarzan's friend and he at one point the character was going to be male, but they change his gender after Roise audition for the role.

One thing I love about this film is the action scenes and Tarzan swinging through vines and sliding on trees. In real life, he would have horrible splinters on his feet. To animate those scenes, the animators watch skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding videos to the get ideas.
One of my favorite scenes is when Tarzan fights Sabor, and he kills the leopard that killed his parents, even though he never learns about it until much later. An interesting fact about Sabor: many people didn't know if Sabor was a male or female leopard. However, in the original book, there was a female lion named Sabor, so it's likely Sabor is female, but in the Kingdom Hearts game, Sabor is described as male. I thought that, too, when I was a kid.

Then, we have the scene where Tarzan meets Jane, and we see their romance. This was also Tarzan's first time meeting a human like him. It's a good scene, and I found it funny when he tries to look under her dress, and she kicks him. Tarzan and Jane's romance in the film is well done, and the scenes in which he learns of the human world and how to write and read from Jane are great. I also love when he takes Jane to the jungle, and she sees his world. The romance really starts to bloom between the two.
The film ends with her staying in the jungle with Tarzan because she loves him, and they live happily ever after. In the book, Jane leaves for England and marries Clayton, but she eventually leaves Clayton to be with Tarzan, and they have a son named John.
Don't worry Tarzan and Jane always get together no matter what. Jane's father is funny in

The film's villain is Clayton, a hunter who wants to capture the apes and sell or stuff them.
He's just your average greedy villain, but he's still better than the villains we get now from Disney. I loved his fight scene with Tarzan because one scene I love is when Tarzan has Clayton's gun. Clayton tells him to shoot him and mocks him. Instead, he smashes his gun and says, "Not a man like you." It shows that Tarzan is more of a man than Clayton, as he is a savage who kills to get whatever he wants.
In the books, Clayton was actually Tarzan's cousin. Still, he took over his family estate after Tarzan and his family were presumed dead. Clayton learns who Tarzan is but keeps it quiet until he reveals Tarzan's true heirtage and ultimately dies in the books. He also married Jane, as I mentioned. This is another interesting fact about the original books.
I also love Phil Collins' songs like Two Worlds, You'll Be In My Heart, Son of Man, and Strangers Like Me. These songs still hold up years later.
The Cast in this film did a great job, like Tony Goldwyn as Tarzan, Minnie Driver as Jane, Wayne Knight, Rosie O'Donnell, Glen Close, Lance Henriksen, Nigel Hawthorne, and Brian Blessed.

Overall, I love Tarzan. It's now 25 years old, and it was the best Disney film to end the Renaissance. This film still holds up, and to me, it's the best Tarzan film. I give it an 8 out of 10.
Great film from childhood and still holds up 25 years later.

Road House Review

Roadhouse Review
So I saw Road House last night, and here's my review of it. I liked it. I found it to be an entertaining movie to watch, and Jake Gyllenhaal was great in this film. The movie had great fight scenes and good action. It also gets very gory at some moments, and the film is basically about a former UFC fighter named Elwood who works at a bar called Roadhouse and stops bar fights. This movie was a lot of fun, and Connor McGregor was great in the film, too, and he's good at playing bad guys. Overall, I had a fun time with this movie. I give it a 7 out of 10.

X-Men 97 Review episode 1 and 2

So, this classic gem is back, and I love it. The show is back, and it's good. It has a lot of 90s vibes to it. It's great seeing the 90s X-Men back in this show, and they brought back all the old voice actors but replaced some of them.

All the characters stand out, and Cyclops steals the show. He is a badass in the first episode. Marvel Studios needs to give us a proper Cyclops in an MCU film.
Wolverine is excellent, Rogue is great, Gambit is great, and Storm is incredible.
It's great seeing all these characters again, and so far, the first two episodes have the X-Men working with the government and working with humans. Sadly, some humans still hate mutants, and Magneto returns; this time, he's trying to be a good guy and now owns the Xavier School. Now, this is only the first two episodes, and I'm enjoying it so far, and the ending of episode 2 left me shocked.
I can't wait to see more from this show. The characters still feel the same, and I'm hoping we get something like this in an MCU project with the X-Men. Yes, there are some changes fans won't like, and I get it.
So far, both episodes are a 9 out of 10.

After watching the first two episodes, Disney and Marvel, let's make Spider-Man 98 happen.
We need a proper ending for this Peter Parker.
