Judas and The Black Messiah Review

Judas and the Black Messiah

So I saw Judas and the Black Messiah on Monday and heres my review of it...I really enjoyed this film but its very emotional film too.  Like the story of Fred Hampton and the Black Panther Party on how he was betrayed by Bill O'Neal is sad because all Fred did was fight for equality for the black community and the FBI viewed him and the Black Panther Party as a threat, but they weren't. This film shows the Black Panther Party is about helping people, they fight for equal rights for everyone, they welcome everyone to their group who believes in equality, and bringing all people together. This film is really emotional to watch and like you hate Bill for what he's doing and in the film he does regrets his actions in the end.

Lakeith gave an amazing performance and I heard after this movie
he went therapy after playing Bill O'Neal.

The cast of this film all did an amazing job like Daniel Kaluuya he was amazing and he deserved the oscar for his performance, Lakeith Standfield was amazing as Bill, Jesse Plemons was great, Dominique Fishback was great too, and the rest of the cast were amazing in this film.

I think Daniel Kaluuya gives one of the best performances of his career playing Fred Hampton.
The speech he gives in the film is very powerful and it's just sad how he dies because he was going to be father. He was a good man who just wanted equality for everyone and bring everyone together.

This movie had some intense moments, some heartfelt moments, and there are scenes that would make you shed tears because it is a sad film. Overall I really enjoyed this film and its a powerful film too. I give this film a solid 9 out of 10 I highly recommend this film.

Old Review

OLD Review

So I saw OLD and heres my review of it....it was bad. Like I just don't get this movie's plot nor can I understand this film. Like its just your typical M Night film and to be honest I'm not a fan of his work. I really can't say anymore but I can say the cinematography was really good, but the plot holes were confusing and didn't make sense. I'm just not a fan of M Night's work to be honest.

I give this film a 2 out 10 and F.

Black Widow Review

My Black Widow Review.

So I saw Black Widow yesterday and heres my review of it....First I want to say we really should have gotten a Black Widow film earlier like around Phase 2 or Phase 3. If you ask me Black Widow deserved a movie more then Captain Marvel. No one didn't want a Captain Marvel more fans would have preferred a Black Widow film instead. However, this film I got to be honest its okay.
Like the film takes place after Civil War and we learn more about who Black Widow was and her adoptive family. We also learn about her past and the red room were she was trained. The film started out slow but it does have some good action scenes and there are scenes that will make people go, she would be dead or badly hurt from that but it's a superhero film. Scarlet was great as Black Widow and she is Black Widow after all, but I feel like this film could have been a more darker spy thriller action film like on the same level with John Wick or 007 film. Also it does feel like Scarlet gets pushed away in favour of the new characters in my opinion but I just feel like Scarlett gets sideline sometimes in the film.

The rest of the cast were great too like Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova she was really good film and they do have big plans for the character in upcoming future projects like she will be Hawkeye. I did like her character in the film and she's one of the best characters in the film. Originally she was going to be Black Widow's enemy but they change I think that could have been interesting because the two of them are rivals in the comics.
I think the next Avengers film will have her join the Dark Avengers because I feel like that's what their setting up for future films and tv shows.

To me the best character was Alexei Shostakov aka
The Red Guardian played David Harbour.
Red Guardian was the best character in the film in my opinion like he was funny, he had his moments, and I found it funny how he talked about how he fought Captain America but it's unknown if it's true or not. This character was really funny but I think they made him too dumb in the film. However, I hope they do bring this character back for future projects because I would love to see him to lead the Winter Guard basically Russia's own Avengers team. Also cut back on his goofiness make him a strong but tough leader.
That would be a really interesting Disney Plus Series about the Winter Guard
with David Harbour as the lead who forms this team of Russian Superheroes.

The other actors in the film like Rachel Weisz she was good, Ray Winstone played the villain of the film and he was basically your average evil villain who takes little girls turns them into assassins, O.T. Fagbenle who was just there for a few scenes he was okay and there were fans who thought he was playing a certain character but just watch the film he will see.

There were moments in the film that made me cringe and I felt didn't have to be included like Yelena talking about how they removed reproductive organs its just an uncomfortable scene because we're like we know we saw Age of Ultron. I liked the action scenes though and there were moments in the film that were like why didn't she just do that or like oh that explains it.

To me the biggest disappointed in this film did was with the character of Taskmaster. Basically this movie pulled an Iron Man 3 twist with a dash of X Men Origins Wolverine. Like Taskmaster felt like Deadpool in X Men origins and that's a bad sign. This character did some cool stuff but the character is barely in the film.
In comics Taskmaster is very sarcastic and he's been a villain and anti hero.
A lot fans of this character are not going to like what they do with this character because Taskmaster is only in the film for a few scenes and they pull a twist that will make a lot of fans mad because even I didn't like it. But who knows Marvel could always fix this and pull something out of their asses and say hey were going to do this character right this time. So yeah I would Taskmaster was the biggest disappointment in this film. The character could have been done better but a lot of people did see that a twist with this character was coming. I really didn't like how the character was done to me that was very disappointing.

Overall Black Widow is an okay film it really could have been a better movie if it came out during phase 2 or phase 3. Like there are some good stuff in the film and if you still want to see it go ahead you might like it or you may not. I give this film a 6 out of 10 but I still think this movie is better then Captain Marvel because Black Widow had a better supporting cast and she's a more likeable character.
Also we are interduce to the first mutant in this film and he's the giant bear in the winter guard art work.
Let me know what you think, leave comment, and let me know what you think of the movie.
