Nightwing Movie Cast.

Movie Cast as well my top ten choices for Dick Grayson/Nightwing.

Nightwing is one of my favourite superheroes in comics he's also my second DC favourite hero and with a movie on the way. I thought I do a Nightwing Movie Cast and show my top ten choices of Dick Grayson. With Chris Mckay directing the film and with the casting underway I thought I might do my choices for Dick Grayson and characters that may or not appear in the film.   

Now here are my top choices for Dick Grayson and whichever one I go with well that's who's I go with. Also for the casting of Dick Grayson/Nightwing, I feel like they should cast an early twenty-year-old to a late twenty-old. Like 20 to 29. I don't want a thirty-year-old playing Dick Grayson it feels to Joel Schumacher. If you know what I mean. Also for my choices, I went with actors who are tv stars, or well-known actors in other movie franchise.

My choice is... Aaron Taylor Johnson.

The reason, why I went with Aaron, is because he is a good actor and he was Kick-Ass and yes he was the quicksilver that killed off in Age of Ultron and is not as popular as Evan Peters. Still, I can see Aaron playing Nightwing he has physique look and he's really good actor. My other two choices were Dylan O'Brien and Joe Keery.  

Now we don't the plot for the Nightwing film yet, I personally would like the story focus on Dick Grayson trying to be a hero in his own right and trying to step out of Batman's shadow. I think would be a great way to start this franchise like don't bring in the whole Spyral Organization. Make this a solid stand-alone film like what Matt Reeves is planning to do with Batman or if they want to set up Titans movie that be cool. I'm talking Titans, not Teen Titans. Well here is the rest of my cast for an upcoming Nightwing movie. 

Aaron Taylor Johnson as Dick Grayson/Nightwing. 

Nightwing's story would be him trying to be his own hero and there would be flashbacks of him as Robin and him giving up the mantle and trying to get out of Batman's shadow. Also, Dick would go to Bludheaven to be its guardian but he struggles as people in Bludheaven aren't too big on vigilantes. The story would revolve around Dick trying to be his own hero and also look on circus days and his origins.

Ben Affleck as Batman 

Batman will be supporting role and he would be like Iron Man was in Spiderman Homecoming he wouldn't steal the show. He just would be there check on Dick and him and Dick are on good terms. There is no bad blood and strongly considers Dick to be his son.

Jeremy Irons as Alfred

The fateful butler as always looking for everyone in the bat family.

Bella Throne as Starfire 

Starfire as Dick's love interest. Now some of you may be thinking why Starfire why not Huntress or Batgirl or Shawn Tsang. I just feel like we haven't seen Starfire on the big screen and I know about the Titans' tv show in the works but hey we got a Flash tv show and a Flashpoint movie. So yeah and to be honest Starfire is my favourite love interest to Dick. There would be a mention of the Teen Titans showing there was a Teen Titans team in the DCU.

Joe Manganiello as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke 

Deathstroke would be the main villain of the film and since Batman movie is no longer having Deathstroke as the villain, I feel like Deathstroke would be a great first main villain in the film. Slade's goal would be taking out Nightwing but he also wants to recruit and make him his appearance. To which Dick refuses which now resulted in him now deciding to kill Nightwing.

Christain Serratos as Tarantula 

Catalina Flores aka Tarantula would be the owner of mixed martial arts school and former FBI agent. Catalina would not be Tarantula in the film, but in later films, she would be Tarantula.

Kate Winslet as Elise Svoboda

She's basically Nightwing's Commissioner Gordon but she doesn't like Nightwing.

Kevin Durand as Roland Blockbuster 

Blockbuster would be the secondary villain the in film who basically a crime boss who hires Deathstroke to take out Nightwing.

Jimmi Simpson as Mark Blockbuster

Mark Blockbuster would also appear as the second command of his brother Roland.

Luke Roberts and Mila Kunis as John and Mary Grayson

 

Flashbacks of Dick's parents would be in the film including their deaths by Tony Zucko.
















So that's my cast and story ideas for the upcoming Nightwing movie let me know what you think. Nightwing movie by Chris Mckay comes out hopfully soon and Chris casts a good actor for Nightwing.

Black Panther Movie Review

My review of Black Panther (Some Spoilers.)

So I saw Black Panther last night and here's my review of it....10 out 10. Already just saying it this one of the best superhero films I've seen this year. The cast is amazing, the story is awesome, the visuals are spectacular, and just about everything about this film is mind-blowing. Also, the villain in this film is the best Marvel villain so far, I mean I'm going to say it but Marvel's villain problem is done. This film was just amazing and so well done. 

If Black Panther has white eyeshadow why hasn't Batman?

The Story 

The film takes place after the events of civil war with Tchalla becoming King of Wakanda and him trying to be a good leader. Now of course trouble comes as he and his friends have to stop Klaw and Erik Killmonger from stealing Wakana technology. I'm not going into full detail of the story because I want the audience to see this movie and be amazed at how amazing this film is. Everyone was clapping at the end of just how awesome this film was. Not to mention the special effects and visuals are amazing and Wakana is such amazing place.

The Characters 

All of the actors in the film all did an amazing job, first Chadwick Boseman who was always my first choice for the role of TChalla was awesome and he was born to play the role. He was so cool, he was bad ass, and he was funny too. 

Lupita Nyong'o was great as Nakia, she was a great love interest and she was so cool and Lupita did a great job. 

Michael B Jordan hands down is the best villain in the MCU like holy shit. Two things Marvel's villain problem is over I mean Kilmonger was just awesome and very well written as a villain and his story is heartbreaking and very cool. He was just so cool and one of Marvel's best villains. 

Remember Michael was this shitty Marvel film, well its the past and now he is one of the best Marvel villains. 

  Letitia Wright as Black Panther's sister Shuri. She is one of the best characters in film and she is so funny. She's so cool and she could even outrank Tony Stark. Letitia did such amazing job as this character and she was hilarious. In future Black Panther films, I am down to have her become Black Panther like she did in the comics. 

The rest of the cast like Danai Gurira, Forest Whittaker, Daniel Kaluuya, Martin Freeman, and Andy Serkis all did a great job. Everyone did a fantastic job.

Not going to lie when saw these two together again, Bilbo and Gollum pop into my head just seeing these two together again as humans, not hobbits. 

This film was one of the best movies I've seen this year. It was amazing, awesome, and again 10 out of 10. Go see this movie it is so amazing. You will have blast and you will be inspired by this film. I give Black Panther a solid A+++. Go see it! Wakanda Forever.  

Redwall TV Series Reboot idea.

It still feels weird that he's gone but his books will keep him alive forever.

Ah, the Redwall who doesn't remember this awesome fantasy book series. Written by the late Brian Jacques the Redwall books are without a doubt one of the best fantasy animal anthropomorphic series and has inspired many. What's great about Brian Jacques work was it wasn't on one specific character throughout the entire series instead it focuses on periods in history in the Redwall universe. Except for Martin the Warrior, Mossflower, and Legend of Luke that have the same characters. As well as Redwall, Mattimeo, and Pearls of Lutra. Redwall has been part of my childhood since I was a kid and this series was awesome and to be honest I got into Redwall because of the Tv series. Remember this show? 

Damn that theme is catchy.

                                          

These guys had bigger balls than 4kids.

The Redwall tv series was awesome it had great voicing and character designs were awesome. As much as this show was great it only lasted for 3 seasons which were Redwall, Mattimeo, and Martin the Warrior. It would have been awesome to see other books get adapted but in truth,  Nelvana didn't want to end it with Martin the Warrior, they actually wanted to make a fourth season because of how popular it was with fans. The reason it didn't happen was that of financially feasible.
There was even attempt by fans on Deviantart to make forth season which was then changed into a movie. However, the project was canceled after Brian Jacques's death and the Miller Brothers got the media rights for Redwall. With a video game coming out this summer should be interesting.

There is no word if we are getting a film series or a tv series but I feel years have passed and its time to bring Redwall back to television a movie series could work but I prefer a television because we got a great tv series from Nelvana and I would rather see tv series reboot.

Now for a tv series here what I think they should do if it happens.
1. Make each episode an hour long or half-hour whatever works. I personally make an hour long just like they do with Game of Thrones.
2. Make it ten episodes preseason I think they cover most of the story or make 13 like Nelvana did.
3. Make it little more mature like is in the books like bloody but not too bloody the show needs to still be kid-friendly.
4. They can start with Redwall first if they want or do a chronicle approach. I personally would start with chronically start like start with Martin the Warrior or Lord Brocktree, that would mean we wouldn't get to Redwall till season 9 but who knows what order the Miller Brothers would do.
5. Get big-time actors to voice the characters like they A-listers and big tv stars. They do one season but let's say the actors who voice Martin, Mathias, Rose Eyes, Dandin, Mariel, and Gonff stay on for three seasons or two.
6.  Make it CGI animated, Nelvana give us 2d animation let the reboot series give us 3d, but I'm down for 2d again.
7. I would recommend Netflix for the job I feel like they could do a good job with this type of series.

That's what I think they should do with a Redwall Tv show reboot lets get it started people I want to see the next genertation of kids to watch it.
