Soft Reboot 

My Justice League Soft Reboot and Fan Cast and Ideas.

Now we all love the Justice League we've love them for years and we've known about them since the fifties. We've known the Justice League even longer than the Avengers and I've always wanted to see a Justice League film happen. I was a big fan of the Justice League animated series back in 2001 and I still love it. Now in 2017 we got a live action movie and holy shit it sucked! Don't bring up the Synder Cut because this movie was a disaster no matter what. 

Wow....what a let down.

Now since DC is finally getting their act together and also if you heard or haven't Robert Pattison is the new Batman. So after disaster of DC's first attempt to make a film, I think WB and DC needs to do a soft reboot of the film like James Gunn's Suicide Squad Reboot. First I'm going to do my fan cast and then my ideas for a Justice League soft reboot. We need a good Justice League film that will make every DC fan happy and make us forget that piece of crap film. 

First here is my fan cast and my choice of director and writer

Director Sam Liu

Remember that meme of Patrick Star saying Let's take the DC Animated Film Writers and push them into live action DC films. Thats what I want to get the director of the current DC animated films to make this film and he's directed a lot of good animated DC films so I would go with Sam Liu.


Writer Bruce Timm

Bruce Timm started the DC Animated Universe he has given us the Batman animated series, the Superman animated series, Batman Beyond, and the Justice League the animated series. This guy should write the film because he knows how to tell a good story.

Heres the cast with two actors from the Justice League in 2017 returning.

David Giuntoli as Clark Kent/Superman

If you've seen my Superman Soft Reboot idea, this is the actor I would go with as the new Superman. In this film Superman is like the Captain America of the team. Superman's role in the film is Brainiac has returned but he's more powerful and Superman can't stop him alone so he meets Batman and Green Lantern he needs their help to defeat Brainiac but not just them he needs more heroes to fight against Brainiac. Now also its rumour that WB is going to reboot Superman again which to be honest I'm okay besides as much as I loved Henry Cavil as Superman he's moving on to the Witcher.

Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman

Now as we know Robert Pattison was casted as the new Batman and I know a lot of people are mixed about it but, I'm fine with it. Now Batman's role is like Iron Man in the Avengers but Batman is more of the leader of the team. Batman begins to notice Brainiac's attack on earth and Brainiac takes control of Gotham's police force. This makes Batman go on run where he meets and Green Lantern. The two don't like each other but in the end they have team up and Batman says they need more allies to fight Brainiac. They meet Superman and later on Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg he plans out what they are going to do. They all look to Batman as a leader because he doesn't have any powers, he's smartest of them, and it make sense that he's their leader.

Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot I mean come on she is Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman's role film is she's like Black Widow mixed with Thor. Now of course when Brainiac attacks she joins the fight and she meets the team and she joins them to fight Brainiac. Also Wonder Woman hears that Brainiac has attacked her home Themyscira, so now like Aquaman she must free her mother and her people from Brainiac. Now to be honest with ya Wonder Woman 84 coming out next year I don't know why Patty Jenkins will do with the character but I'm sure she will do a great job and I'm really excited for Wonder Woman 84.

Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman

Jason Momoa returns as Aquaman The King of Atlantis and this film he is king now but faces a lot of issues as a king. I see Arthur and Mera are now married and Mera is expecting their first child but Atlantis gets invaded by Brainiac's army. So now Aquaman joins the other heroes to stop Brainiac and free Atlantis. I don't know what James Wann will do in the next Aquaman but I trust James Wann to do a good job because he help restore my faith in DC along with Jason.

Taylor Kitsch as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern

Green Lantern wasn't in the Justice League film but I feel like the character of Hal Jordan needs get done right and this film could be the first to introduce the character. Now there is a Green Lantern reboot happening and the film will focus on Hal Jordan and John Stewart which is basically Lethal Weapons meets Guardians of the Galaxy. Hal Jordan is a test pilot and member of the Green Lantern Corps. In the film Hal meets Batman and let me tell ya they don't get along. Hal and Bruce eventually gain respect for each as they will be the first characters to interact with each other. It's also shown that Hal and Barry are life long friends like in the comics.

Zac Efron as Barry Allen/The Flash

I got to be honest I was not a fan of Erza Miller as Flash, nothing against the actor I just felt he was miscast. Erza Miller is a good actor I just don't see him as Barry and I really didn't like how Flash was the kid of the team. Flash should be around same age as the rest of the heroes. Flash's role in the film is he brings the comedy to film and he is the jokester of the team. We also see Flash's job and his love life with Iris.

Kedar Williams Stirling as Victor Stone/Cyborg

I feel like Cyborg wasn't at his best in the 2017 film like I feel like this film should do him better and it would be proper origin story for him. Also Cyborg is the youngest member of the team too and also the most powerful as well. This film is also an origin story for Cyborg as well because I'm taking inspiration for the New 52 Justice League.

Michael Fassbender as Brainiac 

Brainiac would be the film's main villain and only villain. If you've seen my Superman reboot idea I made Brainiac the main villain in the first Superman film. Brainiac would return for the Justice League film but this time's he more powerful and has army ready to conquer the world.

Emmy Rossum as Lois Lane

Lois Lane is in the film and her role isn't big but she does have good role in the film like helping Superman and being a relationship with Clark Kent.

Callum Worthy as Jimmy Olson

Jimmy's role is small too but we seeing him taking photos of the Justice League and going all fan boy about seeing all the heroes come together to defeat evil.

Hugh Laurie as Alfred

Alfred as we know is Batman's loyal butler and plays a small role in the film.

Rose Leslie as Iris West

Iris West is Barry Allen's love interest and friend from childhood.



Andre Braugher as Silas Stone

Cyborg's father and a scientist who is also responsible for his son's transformation.

Chris Pine as Steve Trevor

Now I don't know how Wonder Woman 84 is going to plan out but if DC pulls something makes Steve Trevor forever young like Diana thats fine. Steve would be a supporting character that helps out the team and is leader of A.R.G.U.S. I don't know if that will happen in the end of Wonder Woman 84 but those my predictions for Wonder Woman 84.

Michael C Hall as Lex Luthor

Lex Luthor would appear in the film but he doesn't have a huge role but he will in the next film as he will become the leader of the Legion of Doom.

Macaulay Culkin as The Joker

Joker appears in the very end meeting up with Lex Luthor to put together the Legion of Doom.

Now here are my ideas for a Justice League Soft Reboot

1.Take inspiration from New 52 origin and Justice League Animated Series. (Google Image)

Mixed these two together and you will get 

95% on rotten tomatos.

Now when DC rebooted and reintroduced the Justice League in 2011's New 52 it was a big hit and I feel like this would be the proper way to reintroduce the Justice League. Also another source to take inspiration is from the animated series that is one of the best cartoon shows in the 2000s. WB and DC need to look at those stories for inspiration to deliver a great Justice League that will make everyone happy.


2. We can either establish the characters by setting up in a Justice League film like Marvel did with the Avengers or just have them flush appear without any set up.

Set up or already in just give us a good Justice League film!

Now everyone really wished WB had done the Marvel method and set up a Justice League movie like first start with a Superman Movie, Superman/Batman Team up film, then Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, and Aquaman that leads up to Justice League. Sadly WB didn't do that because they were so desperate to catch up to Marvel when they should have just taken their time build a film universe. Now from what we heard DC is going to reboot but they will create two separate universes like Robert's Batman is going to be a reboot and set its own mini cinematic universe because there is a Nightwing and a Batgirl in the works and next year we got Birds of Preys. So I would recommend doing the marvel method but if they go with the whole flush appear in this film without any set up thats fine. If they can get the right people behind it, it's sure to deliver. Also we all know these characters already we just want them to be done right in a team up movie. 

3. Have the film and the two films focus on the seven founders of the Justice League.

Like Marvel did with Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye. DC needs to give us their original Justice League and that should Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Flash (Barry Allen), and Cyborg. Not mention when contracts expire or the actors want to leave like Endgame give them all a great send off and passing of the torch to a new cast. Also in Justice League lets see the characters interact more and gain more development in the film that and also in their own solo films. I just felt Justice League didn't really give us any good character interactions and also that movie's plot was really bad.

4. Have the film set up the Legion of Doom as the film's next villains.

Now I know the Justice League film did set up Legion of Doom but since Justice League didn't do well with critics and Justice League 2 isn't happening. Fun fact June 14  Justice League 2 was suppose to be out. So I would have the film set up Legion of Doom as the next villains in the second film and the Legion would be Lex Luthor, Joker, Cheetah, Sinestro, Gorilla Grog, Black Manta, Riddler, Gigantic, Captain Cold, and Ra's Al Ghul. Heres how I would set up the Legion like in the mid credit scene where Lex Luthor is in office watching the news of the Justice League and gets up turns off the TV his security guards come in and they both fall on ground laughing, as the Joker walks in. Lex isn't surprise by this and the Joker says "So Lexy, is it time for we interduce our... league." Lex smiles and says "Yes, but it's not League it's a Legion." Lex's grabs a clicker and we see holograms of Black Manta, Sinestro, Cheetah, and Gorilla Grog. Joker laughs as Lex says "There are more of us to recruit." Then it ends there.

5. The Next Storyline should be Tower of Babel.

Now the next film I feel should be Tower of Babel because its one of the best Justice League comics were we learn Batman knows how to defeat the Justice League. I would set this story up in the end credit scene where we see Bruce back in the bat cave with Alfred. Bruce and Alfred go to a secret room as they do Alfred points out this doesn't feel right but Bruce says "I know, but there is always chance any of us can go rogue and I have to be prepared." Bruce pulls out kryptonite from his pocket and puts it in a case and we see all full view of the Justice's League members weakness and files on how to defeat them. The next film tagline is who do you trust and also new members joining the team are Shazam, Green Arrow, Black Carney, and Martian ManHunter.

Those my ideas and fan cast for a Justice League Soft Reboot. We need a really good Justice League film we've only got that from animated films and those films are great we need more of that in live action form. I don't know what WB and DC have plan I hope they will get their shit together and give us good movies. I mean heck Shazam was one of the best films I've seen this year.
