My Union Jack TV Series Fan Cast and Ideas

Now Union Jack is somewhat Britain's Captain America now some of you may say but isn't Captain Britain England's Captain America? Yes but he has powers and Union Jack doesn't he's more like Cap except he doesn't have super soldier serum in him. He is more of a street live hero because he was born into a working class family.

Now if you've seen Captain America The First Avenger and my Wolverine Fan Cast. The character of James Montgomery Falsworth was in Captain America the First Avenger, but he never wore the outfit. In my Wolverine film I had the character's father in the film as Union Jack and a member of the Invaders. Now I think it's time we give this character some more love and hey one of the Black Panther producers wants to make a film about this character but I think TV series might work better I'm cool with a movie Union Jack could be Marvel's 007. Also director choices for a Union Jack film Matthew Vaughn, Guy Ritchie, Sam Mendes, and Martin Campbell. 

The tv show would be about Joseph Chapman who is not part of the Falsworth family but takes up mantle mainly because he has what it takes to be Union Jack. The tv series would be ten episodes and it would be an hour long. First here is my fan cast and ideas for a Union Jack TV Series and the show would be on be on Disney Plus.

First here is my cast for the show and later I'll talk about my ideas for a Union Jack Show.


Sam Claflin as Joseph Chapman/Union Jack

 Joseph Chapman is not a member of the Falsworth family but takes up the mantle of Union Jack by request from his friend Kenneth Falswoth who was supposed to take over but believe that Joseph was better suited for Union Jack. Joseph grew up in the working-class family, his father was a shipbuilder until his death. When Joseph was a kid ashamed of his father for not getting enough in his station. When became an adult he respected his father and saw all the struggles he did was to give Joseph a university degree. While Joseph was studying art he met Kenneth and introduce to his family as Kenneth sees Joseph as the next Union Jack. He now he protects England from vampires, terrorists, and street criminals, and occasionally has arguments with Captain Britain. The show would explore his origins, how he became Union Jack, How he earn it, Seeing him become a symbol for Great Britain, and a champion for the working man.

Lilly James as Jacqueline Falsworth/Spitfire

 Spitfire would appear in the show as a love interest, now this version she is granddaughter of the James Montgomery Falsworth from First Avenger. She had two brothers an older one named Brian who was became the second Union Jack until his death in car accident, and another older brother named Kenneth who turned down the offer. Jacqueline was offered to take up the mantle but she declined the role too.  Jacqueline gets vampire powers from her dead great uncle Baron Blood luckily she got hyper speed, flame powers, and super strength, from the original Human Torch now rebuild and his blood help prevent her from becoming a full vampire. She takes the code name Spitfire after the Supermarine Spitfire airplane in WW2.  Unlike the comics she is not the daughter of the Original Union Jack, She did not fight with the Invaders, Kenneth is her brother not her son, and she's not married.

Iwan Rhedon as Baron Blood

Baron Blood would return in the tv series seeking revenge on his family. He is revived by Baroness Blood's father by using a dark ritual with some science. When Baron Blood returns he realizes how times have change and he learns his brother is dead but now he seeks revenge on his brother's descendants and destroying the legacy of Union Jack. Baron would be the main villain in the first season also he would work with Baroness Blood he would be his lover. Baron Blood doesn't just want to kill the Falsworth he wants to turn them into vampires like him. 


Pierce Brosnan as Lord James Falsworth the Third/The Second Union Jack.

Now in this version James is the son of the James Falsworth from Captain America The First Avenger. He is now retired as Union Jack and living a nice life but wants the Union Jack Legacy to continued. At one point his son Brian took up the mantle of Union Jack but sadly Brian was killed in car crash. James pushed for his son Kenneth to take up the mantle but Kenneth had no desire so than he approached his daughter Jacqueline to take up the mantle but she didn't want to either. It was until Kenneth interduce his friend Joseph as someone who has what it takes to be the new Union Jack. At first James said no for only a Falsworth should carry on the mantle but later he sees that Joseph has what it takes and England needs a Union Jack. He eventually pass away due to cancer but he happy to know the Union Jack Legacy will live on through Joseph.

Ed Speleers as Kenneth Falsworth

Kenneth Falsworth or Kenneth Crichton as he was in the comics and was the son of Spitfire but I change the characters as brother and sister instead. Now in the show Kenneth and Joesph meet at university and they became good friends. Later in the show Kenneth brings Joesph to his family's estate were he suggested to his dying father that Joesph was the right candidate to become the next Union Jack. Kenneth was offered to take the role of Union Jack but he turn it down for he felt he wasn't the right one for the job. Later in the show Kenneth is bitten by Baron Blood and turns into a vampire which means Joseph and Jacqueline must either save him or kill Kenneth. Kenneth would appear only as series regular.

Evanna Lynch as Lilly Cromwell/Baroness Blood

Baroness Blood is will serve as secondary villain in the show. Baroness Blood aka Lilly Cromwell was the daughter of a village doctor named Jacob Cromwell who was summoned by Dracula to revive Baron Blood from the ashes of when The Human Torch killed him. Her father revived him using some dark magic and science. After Baron blood was alive again he then killed her father and her sister but he turn her into a vampire. Thus she became Baroness Blood as well as his lover cause later on we learn she hated her family and wanted to have the powers of a vampire. She now works with Baron Blood to kill the Union Jack legacy and take over all of England. 

Tobias Menzies as Andy Chapman

Andy Chapman is Joesph's father who was a Manchester dock worker who actually was very talented artist. Joesph grew up ashamed of his father for not trying to raise his station in life but later as Joesph got older he deeply respected how hard working his dad after he died. He would appear in a flashbacks.

Billy Boyd as Rickey Chapman

Rickey Chapman is Joesph's uncle who owns a pub who looked after Joesph after his father died. He was very caring uncle and even helps Joesph get into university as well giving him a part time job working at his pub. He would appear as a series regular.

Elizabeth Chapman as Kate Ashfield

Elizabeth is an original character she is married to Rickey and works as a bar tender at the pub. She is like a mother to Joesph since Joseph's mother died when he was only child she became his nanny and later married Andy's brother Rickey.

Josef Altin as Peter Wisdom

 Peter Wisdom is a friend of Joseph and a member of MI6 he is also a mutant. His mother was murder by serial killer something he blame himself for, since then he had to look after his sister. They both became friends with Joseph and his sister even dated Joseph for awhile and still remain friends after they broke up. He later agrees to help Joesph fight against Baron Blood by putting together a special task force with Union Jack as field leader. He would appear as a series regular.

Sophia McShare as Romany Wisdom

Rommy Wisdom is a friend of Joesph and ex-girlfriend. The two remained friends and she later helps Joseph on his missions and she's a huge history fanatic and knows a lot about ancient cultures such as vampires. She would appear in the first season and first season only.

Inbar Lavi as Ruth Bat Seraph/Sabra

Ruth Bat Seraph is an agent of MI6 and would be an alley to to Union Jack. Ruth is also a mutant as well and she originally from Israeli. Ruth is also a speaker in mutants rights and was transfer from Israeli to England and now works for MI6. She would appear in the first season and would have a much bigger role in season two.

Russell Tovey as Roger Aubery/The Destroyer

Destroyer was a former superhero and lover of the second Union Jack, Brian Falsworth. Roger retired as a superhero after the death of Brian Falsworth. When Roger learns of the new Union Jack, Joesph Chapman refuses to accept Joesph as Union Jack for in his eyes Union Jack ended after Brain's death. Eventually in time he grew to accept Joseph as the new Union Jack. He would appear as a series regular.

Mena Massoud as Navid Hashim/Arabian Knight

Navid Hashim is a Saudi Arabian warrior who takes up the mantle of Arabian Knight from Abdul Qamar. For Arabian Knight is basically the Captain America of Saudi Arabia but instead of a shield he wields a sword. He is recruited by Ruth who was an old friend of his to join MI6 to take down Baron Blood. He would be in the first season but play a bigger role in season two.

Emily Ratajkowski as Valentina Allgra De Fontaine

Valentina is a SHIELD agent from Italy. Her family the De Fontaine were secretly working with Nicholas Fury during WW1 upon hearing the stories Valentina grew up and became a SHIELD agent. In the show she joins MI6 to take down Baron Blood for her family had a part in taking down Baron Blood. She would appear as a series regular.

Liam Hemsworth as Jim Hammond/The Human Torch

The Original Human Torch would appear and in my first Wolverine film Jim was in it and I wrote he would later be brought back to life after he self destruct to kill Baron Blood. He would appear in the show but only for a few episodes, he transfers his blood to Jacqueline thus giving her flame powers like the comics. By the end of the first season Jim than talks Joseph and Jacqueline about joining the new Invaders team.

Now here are my ideas for a Union Jack TV Series on Disney Plus.

5. Take Inspiration from the comics and the 007 franchise.

Union Jack would be more of a super spy rather and soldier character rather than being a superhero. Like I would also look the 007 films for inspiration too like Union Jack could be the MCU's answer to a James Bond type character.


4. Make Union Jack a symbol of the working class man.

Now Joesph Chapman is not of the higher up class but is the actually of the working class man and this series could make the character a symbol for the working class man. Like Union Jack not only represent England but is a symbol of hope to the working class. Also Union Jack becomes more of an street level hero than a military hero.


3. Explore Union Jack History and develop a strong romance between Union Jack and Spitfire.

Now in my Wolverine fan cast I didn't want to focus on Union Jack because it's a Wolverine film, but for a tv series I would dive more into the history of Union Jack and how Union Jack got started and how long it's been around. Like we can learn there's been Union Jack's since King Arthur and that is true. Also in the show there will be a romance between Joseph and Jacqueline but unlike the comics it's not awkward because in the comics she is the mother of Kenneth plus due her vampire blood she doesn't age anymore. However, in the comics they did get together but they ended it because it felt weird and wrong. Since I change that to Jacqueline being Kenneth's sister instead it less awkward and doesn't feel wrong.


2. Maybe set up a Union Jack and Captain Britain team up that could lead into Knights of Pendragon.

With likely chances of a Captain Britain film going to happen in the future I think we need to see Union Jack and Captain Britain team up or maybe fight. Like two have of them would team up maybe even set up Knights of Pendragon.


1. Set up Union Jack and Spitfire to join the all new Invaders.

Now I'm planning to do an Invaders film fan cast and ideas. Now Union Jack will be one of main characters of the team and I think the first season would end with Joseph and Jacqueline meeting Jim aka Torch who talks to them about joining a team that will fight terrorists and defend all nations from Hydra, Neo Nazis, and many more dangerous enemies. That team is the Invaders. I think the Invaders need a adaption they were first marvel superhero team and I think now that all the rights are back it's time to interduce this team like I did with my first Wolverine film but as WW1 team instead of WW2.

This is a character I never read about but I'm planning to give Union Jack a read sometime in the future.
