Ma Rainey's Black Bottom Review

Ma Rainey's Black Bottom Review.

So I watched Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and here is my review of it....It was great. Like this film isn't that long but its really good and the music in this film is good too. The acting in this film is amazing like Viola Davis as Ma Rainey, Colman Domingo as Cutler, Glynn Turman as Toledo, Taylour Paige as Dussie Mae, Michael Potts as Slow Drag, Dusan Brown as Sylvester, and of course giving his final performance before his untimely death Chadwick Boseman as Levee.
Chad gives one last great performance.
This is of course is Chadwick Boseman's last film because as you know he passed away a few months ago. He gives one of the best performances in this film like his acting was amazing and he just give it his all in this performance. I felt bad for his character like his character had a rough life and you want him to succeeded at what he wants that is to write songs and form his own jazz band. Also when he tells his back story who really feel sad for him and Chadwick does an amazing job playing this character and it's sad we will never see anything like this again. Like his performance was just amazing in this film and not just him but everybody.

Can't wait to see her play Amanda Waller again in the Suicide Squad Reboot.
Overall, this film is really good and the music is really good. Also I do praise Viola Davis in the role Ma Rainey she was amazing and she was a tough lady who didn't take crap from anyone not even her own managers. This movie is really good but is also sad too.

I really enjoyed this film and I give 8 out of 10, but most of all I give full praise to Chadwick Boseman for his final role as Levee in this film. Rest in Power Chadwick Boseman The Black Panther.

Redwall Movie Fan Cast and Ideas

My Redwall Movie Fan Cast.

So recently it's been announced that a Redwall film and TV series is in the works from Netflix. I love the Redwall series I grew up with this series and its fun book series to read. From the books to the old tv show. I'm really excited they got Patrick McHale the creator of Over the Garden Wall and he's written episodes of Gravity Falls to make this show. We're getting movies and a series about the redwall books. I don't know what will be a film or a show but so far the film will be based on Redwall and the tv series will be about Martin the Warrior.   I think that idea is pretty cool and I will do a Martin the Warrior TV Series Fan Cast as soon as I can.

So here is my fan cast for the Redwall Movie. Also I don't have any drawings or artwork of the characters you'll just have to look them up.

Art Parkinson as Matthias

Matthias is the main character of the book, a young mouse who dreams of becoming a great warrior like Martin the Warrior, the co founder of Redwall. Matthias lived a peaceful life at Redwall until Cluny attacks and Matthias now begins his quest to find the lost sword of Martin the Warrior and become the next Redwall Abbey Warrior. In the old tv show they give Matthias an origin story which I think they should add to the film because it's a really good but sad origin story. Like his family was killed by Cluny which is a good reason on why he hates Cluny it would fits his character perfectly.

Bella Ramsey as Cornflower
Cornflower is a young mouse maid and cook at Redwall and Matthias love interest. She often gives him confidence in himself when he has self doubt, she even gives him her favourite headband as his warrior's colours. Cornflower would show true courage against Cluny and his army.

Willem Dafore as Cluny the Scourge
Cluny is the main villain of the film and is trying take over Redwall abbey. Willem Dafoe is perfect to voice this character as his voice matches the type of character Cluny. Brian never really explained why Cluny wanted Redwall but I have a feeling the film will make up a reason why he wants Redwall abbey and maybe even his backstory. Cluny would steal the tapestry of Martin the Warrior and would be haunted by the spirit of Martin the Warrior's spirit.

Simon Pegg as Basil Stag Hare
Everyone's favourite Hare in the series Basil Stag Hare and Simon Pegg is perfect to voice this character. Simon has the same type of energy like Basil does. Basil would bring the comedy to the film because he is one of the best characters in the books. Basil would join the fight against Cluny and he would be a great help in leading Redwall's warriors into battle.

Toks Olagundoye as Constance
Constance is the mother badger of Redwall very tough and firm but is very good hearted and caring. Constance is a mother figure to Matthias and believes he speaks truly that they must fight Cluny and not seek peace with him. Constance is more battle driven than Abbot Mortimer is and thinks they should fight Cluny until he's dead or they are dead.

Anthony Head as Father Abbot Mortimer
Father Abbot Mortimer is the Abbot of Redwall Abbey and its leader. Abbot Mortimer is a very peaceful mouse who does not believe in violence and often tries to see for peace like past abbots before him. Mortimer is very close to Matthias as Matthias sees him as a father figure in his life and Matthias as a son figure. Even though Matthias wants to be a warrior but Mortimer does not want to be one because he should focus on a life of peace.

David Bradley as Brother Methuselah
Brother Methuselah is the Abbey Recorder of Redwall. He's a very old mouse and has told many stories to the children of Redwall Abbey. He told Matthias the story of Martin the Warrior and other tales too. He would help Matthias on his quest to find the sword as he tells him the sword was either stolen by the sparrows, lost somewhere in the abbey, or simply lost. Methuselah believes Matthias is destined to be the next warrior of Redwall Abbey. He would mentioned to Matthias that he would be the fourth Abbey Warrior as after Martin there was Dandin the great great son of Gonff the Mousetheif and Samkim the Squirrel.

Ken Stott as Foremole
Foremole is the leader of the mole group at Redwall Abbey they often smell, dig, and build things at Redwall Abbey.

Martin Freeman as Brother Alf
Brother Alf is a brother of Redwall and Mortimer's second. He often goes fishing with Matthias but he gets sea sick from riding the boat on the pond.

Nathalie Emmanuel as Jess
Jess is a squirrel and consider to be the best climber in all of Redwall. She has a son name Sam and her husband named Mr. Squeirrel but knowing the movie they will give him a name like Samuel. She's loving mother and devoted wife. Jess is bold and fierce to anyone who threatens her family. She's also cunning and is good at playing tricks.

Luke Pasqualino as Mr. Squirrel Samuel
Mr. Squirrel didn't play any part or wasn't in the books that much. I don't know if the movie will have him or not but if he's in it. I think he would be like Jess he's caring father and devoted husband. He's also very brave too. If he's in the film or not. He's not as adventures as his wife for he prefers to stay and work but he is shown to be very skilled warrior like his wife and even takes part many of the battles against Cluny. He uses a bow and a spear in battle.

Russell Tovey as Ambrose Spike
Ambrose Spike is the keeper of the cellar at Redwall Abbey and does magic tricks at Redwall abbey.

Stefan Kapicic as Log Log
Log Log is a shrew that help people through the rivers of Mossflower woods, he would help Matthias on his quest to find Martin's sword.

Svetlana Khodchenkova as Guosim
Guosim is the leader of the Guerilla Union of Shrews and she agrees to help Redwall fight against Cluny and help find the sword of Martin only if Matthias can kill Asmodeus and stop Captain Snow from eating anymore of her people.

Kerry Ingram as Warbeak
Warbeak is a young sparrow who at first didn't like Matthias but grew to like him and calls him crazy mouse. She would become good friends with him after he helped her and she would be Queen of Sparrows after her uncle's death.

Claudia Black as Sela the Healer
Sela the Fox is a healer but in truth she's double crosser. She and her son both serve Cluny after he is injured. Sela and her son expose Cluny's battle plans to Redwall but the Redwallers would not let them into the abbey because they didn't seem trustworthy. Cluny found out and had them both killed. Chickenhound survived but his mother died.

Tom Felton as Chickenhound
Chickenhound is the son of Sela and after he and his mother try to expose Cluny's plans they both were to die. Sela died but Chickenhound survived. He manage to get to Redwall Abbey and where they help but he was not trust by Matthias, Constance, Basil, and Jess except for Abbot Mortimer. He would eventually loot from Redwall and would kill Brother Methuselah after trying to stop him from stealing. Chickenhound would escape but he would end up encountering Asmodeus and the snake bit half of his face off. If there is a sequel to this film depending if it does well you can bet it will be about Mattimeo with Chickenhound now going by Slagar the Cruel as the main villain.
I would have an end credit scene Chickenhound vows vengeance on Redwall for he blames them for his his mother's death, his injury, and thus becomes Slagar the Cruel.

Adetokumboh M'Cormack as Asmodeus Poisontooth
Asmodeus Posiontooth is a great snake that terrorizes Mossflower woods. Asmodeus eats anything he sees and his a silent hunter. He also has Martin's sword along with many other treasures from his prey. He can also hypnotized his prey so they can't bring themselves to attack. He's also called Poisontooth

Graham McTavish as Captain Snow
Captain Snow is an owl who hunts and eats mice and shrews. He was saved by Basil Stag Hare and give him a metal that Matthias uses to stop him from being eaten. He tells Matthias where to look for the sword of Martin and also where Asmodues is. He promises that if he gets the sword and kills Asmodeus he will promise to stop eating mice and shrews.

Nick Frost as Squire Julian Gingivere
Squire Julian Gingivere is a cat who doesn't eat mice in fact he is vegetarian and a descended of the Green Eye Wild Tribe that ruled Mossflower many years ago.

Mackienze Crook as Redtooth
Redtooth is Cluny's second in command and one of his many generals in his army.

Nonso Anozie as Darkclaw
Darkclaw is another general in Cluny's army and his third command after Redtooth.

Ralph Ineson as Fangburn
Fangburn is another general in Cluny's army and often recruits members to Cluny's army.

Lee Arenberg as Cheesetheif
Cheesetheif is fourth in command of Cluny's army. He secretly wants to take over the army but in the end he is killed by Constance by mistake they thought he was Cluny.

Owen Teale as King Bullbeak
King Bull Sparra is Warpeak's uncle and brother to her mother Dunwing. He usupered the title after Warpeak's father's death. He also stole Martin's sword and was responsible for Greytail's Warbeak's father death.

Ashley Jensen as Dunwing
Dunwing is the mother of Warpeak and sister of King Bull Sparra. She blames him for her husband's death and eventually helps Matthias.

Kit Harrington as The Spirit of Martin the Warrior
Martin the Warrior is the first warrior of Redwall and co founder. Martin is now a spirit that helps the Redwallers during dark times. Martin would choose Matthias as the next Abbey Warrior. Matthias looks up Martin the Warrior and dreams about being a great warrior like him and protecting Redwall and it's woodlanders from evil threats. Martin's spirit also gives Cluny nightmares that drive him to point of insanity. We would learn more about Martin in the tv series that will focus on him.

So that's my cast for the Redwall film from Netflix.
I really hope that film is good and show is good. I hope its very faithful to Brian Jacques's work and they respect the legacy he left behind.

I Am That Is, My Sword Shall Wield For Me.

The show will adapt Martin's whole story arc which I dub as the Martin the Warrior Trilogy.
First season Martin the Warrior, Second season Mossflower, and the last season Legend of Luke.
More seasons after may focus on Outcast of Redwall, Mariel of Redwall, The Bellmaker, Salamandastron, and Lord Brock Tree.
The film series will likely be about Redwall, Mattimeo, Pearls of Lutra, The Long Patrol, Marlfox, and Taggerung.
Depending if this is how they will adapt these books into films or tv series.
Let me know what you think leave a comment and what are you most excited about the Redwall film and tv series from Netflix.

My Top Ten Favourite Simpsons Episodes

My Top Ten Favourite Simpsons Episodes.

Hey everyone, so after I released my top ten hated episodes, here are my full ten favorite episodes of the Simpsons. These are great, funny, well-written episodes that can be very emotional. Here are my top ten favorite Simpsons episodes of all time, and they make me go...

Here are my top ten favorite episodes of The Simpsons.

10. The Seemingly Never Ending Story.

I really enjoyed this episode of the Simpsons. I find the stories that each character tells is very funny and exciting. Like Lisa tells Homer the story about her Burns being chased by a goat, Burns tells her about how he lost his power, planet, and money and had to work at Moes, Burns reads Moe's story about his relationship with Edna, and of course, Homer reveals the truth he knew about that treasure, and that's why he took the family on this nature walk. Homer being stuck in that hole was very funny too, and I really felt for Moe because he and Edna were going to start a new life, but Bart ruined it by telling her she had dentation all summer. Typical Bart Simpson. I enjoyed this episode very much, and I had a good time watching it.

9. The Homer They Fall.

I really enjoyed this episode a lot, and it was really good because I love episodes about Moe. After all, he is my favorite Simpsons character. Homer becomes a boxer, but he can't punch, but he can take a really cool hit, but in real life, Homer would have Parkinson's Disease or Brain Damage. I really liked this episode because Moe stands out as a true friend to Homer and puts aside a desire to be rich if Homer can last a fight with Drederick Tatum for three minutes.  In the end, Moe saved Homer's life because that final hit would have killed him. You can thank Marge for that. In this episode, she really does love Homer, and who can blame her for being worried about him because fighting someone like Tatum in real life, one punch, you're dead.

8. Boy Scoutz'n The Hood.

I love this episode. I think this is one of the funniest episodes of the Simpsons. So Bart joins the Junior Campers by mistake, and he brings Homer along with him to a riverboat trip, and they get stuck with Flanders and Todd. This episode was so funny like they get lost at sea and try everything they can to stay alive or be rescued, but it fails. This episode had this scene.
This episode was hilarious to watch, and I just love that scene where Homer gets the water poem wrong, and he says, "Water, water, water everywhere, so let's all have a drink." he starts drinking the ocean, lol was so funny. I really enjoyed this episode a lot, and it's just so amusing, mainly because they built Krusty Burger on Oil Rig.

7. Maggie Makes Three

Maggie makes Three is another episode I really enjoyed. It was about the birth of Maggie. This episode is funny, but it's heartfelt, and it really gets to you. Like Homer finally leaves the Power Planet to work at his dream job at the bowling alley but not for long. Marge finds out she's pregnant again. Thus he has to go back to his old career. Now you feel for Homer getting your dream job only for you to lose it sucks. But the ending of this episode is really heartwarming, like when Maggie is born, the moment Homer sees her, she cheers him up. The end made many people cry because he has all of Maggie's photos in his section, and with some of the pictures blocking some letters, it now says Do it for Her. This is an excellent episode. It just shows how much Homer loves Maggie and his kids in general.

6. Marge Not Be Proud

Now, this is a Christmas episode, and I really love it, and I watch it every Christmas. Bart basically wants a video game called Bonestorm, but Marge won't get it because it's too violent. So Bart eventually, despite trying to buy it on his own or rent it or borrow it from a friend, decides to steal it. He gets caught, of course, and sadly his family finds out because they get a family photo taken at the place he stole it from. Bart tries to make things right because Marge is shocked and heartbroken that Bart would do that. The episode ends perfectly because Bart makes it up to his mom to buy her a photo of him, bought and paid for. Marge is brought to tears and loves him again. It's an excellent episode that brings the true meaning of Christmas to ya.

5. Raging Abe Simpson and His Grumbling Grandson in "The Curse of The Flying Hellfish."

I loved this episode because Grandpa Simpson is at his best, and he owns Mr. Burns in this episode. In this episode, Abe and Mr. Burns are in a contract over who will inherit these rare paintings from the German castle during WW2. They are the last Flying Hellfish, and now Burns is trying to kill Abe because he wants those paintings. Ab,e along with Bart, has to get them before he does, and we see Bart look up to his grandpa because his grandpa embarrassed him in school, land by the end, he sees his grandpa for the bad-ass more solid he really was in his stories. In this episode, you see Abe Simpson at his best, and he reminds me of my Grandpa.

4. Flaming Moe's
This is one of my favorite Moe episodes, and it's also Simpsons at its prime back in the 90s. The story is Homer invents a new drink, and to make it really good, you have to light it on fire. It's a big hit, but Moe claims it as his own creation because he wants more customers in his bar. Some would look down on Moe for this because he stole Homer's idea and made it his own, but I got to be honest Flaming Moe just works better than Flaming Homer. I liked this episode and Aerosmith guest star, which was really cool, and I love Aerosmith. I really enjoyed this episode a lot, and of course, Homer ruins Moe's business, but in truth, Moe was going to give his share of profits to Homer to make it up to him. Still, the two remain best friends in the end.
Fun Fact I've had a Flaming Moe, and it's perfect.

3. Homer VS The Eighteenth Amendment
I love this episode. I watch it every Saint Patrick's Day. I love how Homer is right to go against this new law that bans alcohol after Bart gets drunk by accident. I mean, this episode is funny, and it's a lot of fun to watch. Homer is at his best in this episode, and Marge supports him for what he's doing because she even agrees it's a dumb law. I love the part when they tell Lisa to go to her room before she speaks of obeying the law. Rex Banner was an excellent bad guy, and I love that catapult scene when Rex goes flying. This was a fantastic episode. I love it to bits.

2. Bart Gets An F.
This Simpsons episode makes me cry because I can relate to Bart in this. I struggled in school, and I remember how stressful and challenging tests, exams, and projects were. I think we can all relate to Bart. In this episode. We all had our struggles in school, and we tried so hard to pass our grades. In the episode, Bart is struggling really hard to give his history test, and he does everything to study hard and focus on his work k, but he works. In the end, when Edna grades Bart's test, the scene he breaks down into tears gets to me because I know that feeling. I loved Edna because despite how Bart drove her nuts, she never gave up on Bart. In the end, Bart does pass s, and it's a perfect ending for Bart. He finally passed his history test and won't be held back. This episode is emotional, too, because if you're struggling with school or anything, you can relate to this episode and Bart.

Honorable Mentions

Hungry Hungry Homer
I really enjoyed this episode because Homer never gives up, and I like the ending because he proves they're selling the baseball team to Albuquerque.
Also, the Blockoland was really funny, mainly when Maggie drives the car.

Tales From The Public Domain
I enjoyed this episode because Simpson's retelling of Odyssey, Joan of Arc, and Hamlet were funny and very clever.
Plus, I love the ending when they dance to GhostBusters.

I Am Furious Yellow
This episode made me laugh my ass off like this was so good, and Stan Lee was the guest star.
Angry Dad made me laugh my ass off.

Brother From Another Series
Who doesn't love Sideshow Bob? I like this episode with his brother played by Kelsey Gramer's co-star from Frasier David Hyde Pierce?

The Italian Bob
I love this other Sideshow Bob episode because the Simpsons go to Italy to get a new car for Mr. Burns. I just found this episode really enjoyable to watch.

Treehouse of Horror episodes
Now I'm going to do a Treehouse of Horror best to worse this October, but I list down my top five favorite ones.
1. Treehouse of Horror 3
2. Treehouse of Horror 1
3. Treehouse of Horror 6
4. Treehouse of Horror 7
5. Treehouse of Horror 12

Lemon of Troy
This is another favorite of mine where Bart and his friends go to Shelbyville to rescue the Lemon Tree in Springfield. It's a good episode, and it's basically a parody of Helen of Troy.

Holidays of Future's Passed
This was a great Christmas episode because, to many fans of the show, this episode feels like the series finale because Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie would be this age when the attack came out.
This episode does feel like the series finale, just like the first episode of the Simpsons was a Christmas episode.

And my number one favorite Simpsons episode is.....

1. Bart After Dark
This is my all-time favorite episode of the Simpsons, hands down. Why I love this one the most because it's such a great episode to watch and the musical number, in the end, was excellent, you know, the song 'We put the Spring in Springfield.' The episode basically is Bart breaks a gargoyle at a mysterious house,e and he has to work there to pay for the damage, and it turns out to be Burlesque House. Bart loves working there and becomes good friends with Me,l, who owns it.
This scene is so funny.
It isn't until Skinner finds out he's working there and he tells of course Rev Lovejoy, Ned, Maude, and Helen. Of course Marge finds out she wants this place shut down until by the end Homer and Bart convince everyone that this house is part of Springfield. They go into that musical number and Marge accidentally destroys half the house and she now has to work there but not as stripper but as ventriloquist.
This episode is really good and its true this burlesque house seems like a fun place to go to lol. I just love this episode its a feel good episode and it won an Emmy for musical performance. This to me is the best Simpsons Episode ever in my opinion.

For fun here this awesome song
We Put The Spring In Springfield.

So that's my top ten favourite Simpsons episodes let me know what you think is there any episodes you love. There is a lot more episodes like but I would have to make this top 20 lol.
Still let me know what you think and what is you're favourite episodes of the Simpsons.
