My Flash Movie Fan Cast and Ideas.
This Flash movie is about Wally West, not Barry Allen
and it's set in The Batman Universe.
Now with set photos revealing supposedly, the Flash is in The Batman universe, and the rumor of them set up a new DC Cinematic universe with The Batman. I thought I might do a fan cast for this idea. This is a possibility, but it really depends if The Batman is a hit. To make this Flash film different from Ezra Miller's, I thought that this film would star Wally West as the Flash.
We all grew up with Wally West as Flash from the Justice League Animated Series, and he was a huge fan favorite. I've met the voice of the Flash, Michael Rosenbaum, and he's a great guy. I think of his voice when I read a Flash comic. A Wally West Flash film is a good idea and something many fans would love to see. We've had Barry as the Flash in TV and film let'. Let's get his turn. I also heard Wally is the Flash in Pattison Universe because Barry is likely dead. If they do this film, it's got to be a coming-of-age story; Wally should be like a teenager, roughly around 16 or 17 years old. He was Kid Flash, and now he's taken up the mantle of the Flash. We see him struggle to continue his uncle's legacy and Flash's Legacy. Wally would be like the Spiderman of the Pattison Universe because he's a kid who's the youngest superhero. It makes more sense than they did with Barry Allen in the Justice League film. I'm just not a fan of Ezra as Flash.
We also see Wally struggle with his personal life like school, his dating life with Laura, he still has feelings for Linda Park, his relationship with his father and mother, he's also a big brother to his little cousins who've lost their father, and most of all he's trying to help his cousin Rudolph too. The film would also have Jay Garrick, the original Flash, revealing a JSA, Daniel West, aka the third Reverse-Flash, would be the villain in the movie, and Mister Element as a secondary villain.
The film would be a comedy, action, drama, and sci-fi film.
My choices for directors for this film are Edgar Wright, Jon Hurwitz, Justin Lin, Shawn Levy, Chris Miller, and Phil Lord.
First is my cast for a Flash film set in The Batman Universe. Also, yes, I did recast Wally.
Jacob Bartrand as Wally West/The Flash
Wally West was initially the Kid Flash until Barry's death. Growing up, Wally looked up to the Flash as his hero, and he wanted to be like him. He found out his uncle Barry was the Flash, and he got the Flash's power the same way Barry did by accident. He became the Kid Flash and fought crime with his uncle, and he even took down his first Rogue Mister Element by himself. However, the good times ended tragically. A villain named Eobard Thawne, known as the Reverse-Flash, battled Flash. During the fight, Barry used the power of the Speed Force. Both he and Thawne vanished. Barry Allen was presumed MIA or KIA. Wally was devastated by Barry's death and didn't know what to do, and Jay Garrick thought it was best to retire the Flash, but Wally refused, and he took up the mantle of the Flash. This film is Year One for Wally as Flash, and we see him struggling as the new Flash because he's still a teenager. The film has him being mentored by Jay Garrick, who is now retired, and we see Wally deal with school life; he is currently dating, but he still has feelings for Linda Park, his friend, personal family drama with his uncle Daniel, and he founds out that he put his uncle in prison. Now his folks have to take in his cousin Rudolph whose a bit of a rebel. Wally also is in for a more significant challenge for a new foe going by the New Reverse Flash has appeared, and now Wally must prepare for the most crucial fight he's ever fought without Barry. The film is a coming-of-age story for Wally because he goes from sidekick to hero.Ashley Liao as Linda Park
Linda Park would be Wally's friend, and she's hoping to become a news reporter someday. She and Wally aren't dating. They are just friends, but Wally did flirt with her once, and she said he was an idiot, and he agreed he was coming on too strong. They just made remain friends after that.Linda is more focused on her work, but she is in love with the new Flash, who is actually is Wall,y and she wants to interview the new Flash because everyone knows that Kid Flash, and she wants to ask him questions about why he took up the mantle of The Flash. And she's in for the shock of her life to learning Wally is the Flash, but not till the next film. In the third film, the two would start to date and admit their feelings and love for each other.
Juan Pablo Raba as Albert Desmond/Mister Element Mister Element is one of Flash's Rogues and he would serve as secondary villain. Mister Element wants to kill Kid Flash who is now Flash because Wally was the first Rouge that Wally defeated by himself as Kid Flash. He became a laughing stock to the other Flash villains being beaten by a kid and has long since wanted to get revenge on Kid Flash. He would join forces with Daniel and even have Daniel break him free and get his equipment back. Albert Desmond eventually went on to become Doctor Alchemy in the comics but in the film he is Mister Element. He would in future films become Dr. Alchemy.
Lil Rel Howery as James Forret
James Forest is a Forensic DNA specialist at Central City Police Department. James and Barry were friends who worked together and hang out after a long day of work. He still keeps in touch Iris and was sad by Barry's death. His son James Jr goes to the same school with Wally and is one of Wally's friends.
Gael Garcia Bernal as David Singh
David Singh is the Lab Director of Central City Police department. He was a friend of Barry but also Barry's supervisor as well at Central Police Department.
Toks Olagundoye as Rebecca
Dr. Rebecca Janus is a therapist that works Central Police Department to help the police if they ever face a horrific crime. She is also a therapist to Iris who is still grieving over Barry's death mainly because she and Barry were very good friends.
The Rogues are already established in this film but only Mister Element appears but in the next film would have Captain Cold as the villain including the rest of the Rogues too. They know The Flash is dead and Kid Flash is the new Flash but they feel Kid Flash is not a worthy adversity for them because he's only a kid still. However, by the end of the film he hear about him taking down the New Reverse Flash and so now Captain Cold and the rest of Rogues see him now as the Flash not Kid Flash anymore.
So that's my Wally West Flash Fan Cast and Ideas if they do a Flash film set in The Batman universe. Let me know what you think do you want to see a Wally West Flash film or are you just happy with the upcoming Flash film with Ezra Miller. Leave a comment and let me know.
Caleb Landry Jones as Daniel West/The Second Reverse Flash
If you've seen my Flash Movie Fan Cast and Ideas, you'll see I had Daniel as the villain in the first film, and he was going to be called Negative Flash. He would have the same story arc as my previous Flash Fan Cast and Ideas. He is infected by Negative Force, he is a thug, he has a son named Wallace whom he loves but puts him in danger, and he goes to prison because Wally brings him, thus ruining any chance to make amends with him, his brother and sister. Wally, of course, didn't know that it was uncle Daniel and he felt guilty about it, but at the same time, his uncle did a robbed bank and was a bad influence on his cousin. Daniel becomes the new Reverse-Flash, and his goal is to kill the Flash and steal his speed force, not just him but also Jay Garrick. For he wants to destroy the legacy of the Flash. Daniel was the youngest child in the West family and ran away from home after pushing his father down the stairs for all the years of abuse and emotional abuse he got from his father. His son Wallace would later be adopted by Wally's parents, who want to give him a good life,e and Iris wants to be there for him too. Both Rudy and Iris knew they couldn't help their brother, but they could help his son.
Wallace Rudolph West would appear in the film, but he won't become Kid Flash until the next movie. In the film, he lives with his dad, a criminal, and he lives a rough life with his dad; his dad uses him to help him get away with crimes. Rudolph is a rebellious kid, but deep down, he's a good kid in need of guidance, and he grows to see Wally as a prominent brother figure to him. Not to cause confusion between the two, the family calls Wallace Rudolph because that's his middle name, so they call him Rudy for short. Wallace loves his dad despite his crimes, and we would see that despite Daniel's crimes, he still loves his son more than anything, and he would do anything to make his son happy. Daniel dies but redeems himself because of his son's love for him. Rudy gets adopted by his uncle and aunt, and he starts to develop speed force powers, and we would see him become Kid Flash in the next film.
Garrett Hedlund as Barry Allen/The Flash
Barry Allen would appear in the film but only in flashbacks. Barry is dead, but he died saving Central City from Eobard Thawne. Both he and Thawne are presumed dead. His death was a significant loss for many in Central City and Keystone City, but he died a hero. His wife, Iris, is left a single mother of two children, Don and Dawn Allen. We would see his relationship with Wally in this film and how he was a like father to Wally and a mentor. Wally misses his uncle greatly and promises to honor his legacy as the Flash, keep Central City safe from crime, and be there for Iris and his twins. The Speed Force would be discussed, and we would have some of Barry's friends are in the film from Central Police Department, and Hal Jordan, aka Green Lantern, would make a cameo. Barry and Hal were best friends in the movie.
Tom Hanks as Jay Garrick/The Original Flash
Jay Garrick would appear in the film as a mentor to Wally and Barry's previous mentor. Jay was the original Flash until he retired, and then Barry took over the role of Flash. Jay, too, knows about the Speed Force and got his powers from the Speed Force. Jay can still run fast despite being in his 60s, and he is a challenging but fun guy. He was sad about Barry's death, for he considered him a son in his life and didn't think at first that Wally should continue the mantle because of how young he was, but Wally insisted on becoming Flash for the world needs Flash. Jay respected his decision and is now a mentor to Wally. Deborah Ann Woll as Iris West
Iris West is the widow of Barry Allen and a mother of two children named Don and Dawn. Iris has been struggling since her husband's death, and she's been working at her job as a reporter. She often tries to spend more time with her kids, but her sister-in-law Mary often looks after Don and Dawn for her while she's at work. She knows Wally is the new Flash, and she doesn't want him to be Flash. She lost Barry, and she doesn't wish to close her nephew. At one point, Iris threatens to tell Wally folks about him,m but she's only doing this to protect; in the end, she doesn't as she realizes how much the city suffered without there being a Flash. She knows deep down that's not what Barry would have wanted her to do; instead, he woullikent to support Wally and be there for him. She accepts Wally as the new Flash and keeps him for what he's doing. She was also reunited with her brother Daniel, and she does try to help, but he screws up again; despite that, she still cares about Daniel. She even tries to save Daniel when he becomes the new Reverse-Flash, but it's too late. His hatred towards her and the rest of the family is so great at this point. In the end, Iris would focus more on her kids and be a loving mother. William Childress as Wallace Rudolph West
Michael Rosenbaum as Rudy West
Rudy is Wally's father he is a chill laid back dad but works hard and often tries to make sure his son is doing well in school. He doesn't know Wally is Flash. Rudy deeply loves his family because him and his younger siblings Iris and Daniel grew up with an abusive father who often took his anger out on Daniel because their mother died in child birth. Rudy had rough life and he was a bad kid growing up eventually everything change for him when his younger brother Daniel pushed their father down the stairs and crippling him. Because of this Rudy took responsibility for his family and grew up and worked very hard to support and take care of Iris and their father. Their father would eventually die of alcohol poisoning.
Rudy then got married and is now a father he vowed he would be better father than his own father was to him, Iris, and Daniel. He also gives Wally advice and knows how much he and Barry were close and tells him he needs keep on going with his life and keep memories close.
Rudy like Iris wants to help Daniel and also help his son Wallace because they want them to know they are not alone they are family. I know cast the voice of the Flash as Wally's father come on its a cool idea and why not.
Drew Barrymore as Mary West
Mary West is Wally's mother and she's a stay at home mom. She's is a loving mother and a good wife but she her husband often have arguments about going on vacation. She does not know Wally is Flash but if she did she would not want that at all. She also takes care of her nephew and niece Don and Dawn for Iris when Iris is at work because it's the least she can do after Barry's death. Helen Hunt as Joan Garrick
Joan is Jay Garrick's wife. She and Jay have been married for years and they had no children except they did adopt a boy named Johnny but he was killed in a car accident and they both have said that Barry filled in that hole for them but after he died Joan was deeply saddened, but she sees Wally as the person to fill in that hole for them again.Juan Pablo Raba as Albert Desmond/Mister Element Mister Element is one of Flash's Rogues and he would serve as secondary villain.
Emjay Anthony as Thomas Elkin
Thomas is Wally's best friend in high school and is trying to be student body president. Thomas doesn't know his best friend is Wally not until much later.Dusan Brown as James Jr aka Jimmy Forret
Jimmy is an original character and is the son of James. He and Wally are best friends and often hang out with each other. James know Wally is the new Flash but doesn't care he thinks its awesome because the Flash was his hero growing up. Isabel May as Frances Kane
Frances is Wally's girlfriend but she has not gotten her powers like she does in the comics. She and Wally have known each other since they were kids and they have been friends for awhile and the two are currently dating. Taylor Kitsch as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern (Cameo)
Hal would appear in the film but in end credit scene were see Hal and Wally talking about the events of the end of the film and Hal tells Wally that Barry would be very proud of him for what he's done. Wally then brings up how Hal made him a Green Lantern at one point. Then Hal gets a distress call in Detroit and he turns into Green Lantern and flies away. Mike Vogel as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Cameo)
Captain Cold would appear in an end credit scene were after hearing about the new Flash defeating the new Reverse Flash. Captain Cold gathers the Rogues and plans to break out of prison and take down the new Flash. As Wally has proven himself to them that is just as good as Barry Allen was. The next film would have Captain Cold as the main villain. Now here are my ideas for this Flash film.
8. The film is a coming of age and a passing of the torch.
This film would be about a passing of the torch for we have Wally go from being Kid Flash to The Flash. In the film he's now the youngest superhero by far and he's no longer a sidekick. Wally has a big responsibility now for his city but he has been trained by Barry so he is a smart funny guy and with Jay as his new mentor he's ready to honour the Flash Legacy. 7. Wally needs a good villain to fight and that is Daniel West his own uncle.
If you've seen my other Flash Fan Cast I made Daniel West the bad guy so like this film he would be the big bad. This film is about the West Family and we have Rudy and Iris who became good people but their little brother who turn to a life of crime is now one with the Negative Force and is the new Reverse Flash. It would be mentioned that Daniel hates the Flash because he put him in prison and his son is now with Rudy and Iris whom he hates because he felt abandoned by them. He would later learn that his nephew Wally is the Flash and he put him in prison and that's leads him to think his whole family wanted him to pay for killing his mother in childbirth and crippling his father in anger. So this is not just to destroy the Flash Legacy but also kill his family for he felt his family hated and abandoned him, but in truth they did loved him and wanted to help him and his son. In the end Daniel would die but his son Wallace would live and become a good kid and would develop the speed force and in the next film become the new Kid Flash.6. Flash's rogues are already established in this universe.
5. Showing Wally's time as Kid Flash in Flashbacks.
The film would dive in on how Wally became one with the Speed Force and we would see flash back scenes of Wally being trained by Barry and their time as Flash and Kid Flash. In the beginning of the film Wally is already Flash and Barry is dead in flashbacks we would see how Barry died and seeing Wally take up the mantle of the Flash. 4. Seeing Jay Garrick as a mentor and an old retired superhero.
Now having Jay Garrick in the film would make him a grandfather figure to Wally and he sees Wally as the grandson he never had much like how he saw Barry as a son figure. Jay is also one of the heroes of old and he was a member of the Justice Society of America, yes the JSA do exist in this universe too. His role besides being mentor and giving Wally advice he also feels like Wally is still too young to be Flash despite him being Kid Flash he feels like Wally should wait and focus on being in school and building a life before becoming a full time hero. Jay would also talk about the Speed Force and his times a member of the JSA in the film.
3. Setting up Rudolph to become the new Kid Flash and seeing Wally become the mentor.
Now with Rudolph in the film, like the comics would get the speed force powers too but he wouldn't be Kid Flash not until the next film. He would become the new Kid Flash and would play a big part in the next film. Wally would serve as an older brother figure to Wallace and in the next film we see Wally teaching Rudolph how to use his powers responsibly and helping others in need.
2. Wally and Linda's relationship building.
In the film Wally and Linda are not dating they are just friends but in future films they would develop a romance it would just take time. It's not going to be in the end they kiss and admit their love for each other, no it's going to take time. Because I want to build up their friendship and then by the third film they begin a full on romance. 1. Honour the Legacy of the Flash.
Now this film Barry is dead but his legacy lives on with his nephew carrying on his legacy as Flash. The film would dive into legacy, honouring those we loved, and being the hero we see ourselves as. This film dives into that of carrying on a legacy and honouring those we lost, but Wally isn't trying to be better than Barry he's just trying to be a good Flash in his own right because he will not replace him or be better but to honour his work.
