My Top Favourite and Worst TV Shows this year.

My Top Favourite and Worst TV Shows This Year

So for this blog, I'm listing my favorite tv shows and shows I hated this year. Starting with my favorite to the worst shows.

These are my favorite shows this year.

8. Afterlife

The last season of Afterlife was fantastic, and I was brought to tears in the final episode. This a funny show but also a very emotional show too. I recommend this show to anyone who loves British shows.

7. Cyberpunk Edgerrunners

I really enjoy Cyberpunk it's such great anime, and I love the characters. I recommend this show because it's fantastic animation and well-written characters. The voice acting in this show is great too.

6. Yellowjacket

This show actually came out in 2021, but when I watched it with my friends, I was blown away by this show. If you grew up in the 90s, you would like this show. You have big child stars from the 90s in this show. Christina Ricci is one of the best characters in the show, and she's fantastic. Everyone on this show is excellent, and it's an exciting show to watch.

5. Atlanta Season 4
This is Atlanta's last season; I must say this was a great final season. My favorite episode was episode 8, a mockumentary of a Goofy Movie. It's so good I highly recommend watching the last season of Atlanta. I'm going to miss this show, and Donald Glover did a great job finishing it.

4. Pam and Tommy
Pam and Tommy were incredible. This show was so funny, and you do feel bad for Tommy and Pam because a sex tape was released to the public. As well in the show, both of them struggled with their careers. Pam wanted to be taken seriously as an actor, and Tommy's style of music was phasing out because Nirvana came and heavy metal was downgraded. Also, this show has a lot of nudity, so heads up, you see Cinderella and Winter Soldier naked.

3. The Boys Season 3
The new season of the Boys was insane like don't even get me started on Herogasm. Holy shit, that scene was insane. Season 3 was excellent, and Jensen Ackles stole the show as Soldier Boy. I also met Laz Alonso this year at Fan Expo, and he's a nice guy who asked him what the hardest scene he had to do was, and he said Herogasm. I can't blame him. That episode was fun, but like, oh my god, that's insane and disturbing. The whole cast did a great job.

2. Peacemaker

Peacemaker is a spin-off from Suicide Squad directed by James Gunn, and I loved this show. It was so much fun, and all the characters were well-written. John Cena did a fantastic job, and I like his co-leads, Leota and Vigilante. They weren't forced like Marvel's Phase 4 co-leads. They were well written, and Peacemaker is so funny in the show. I think we will see more of Peacemaker in the DCU. We Give it a watch, it is so good.  This show is much better than any of the Marvel shows we got from Disney Plus.

1. House of the Dragon

This show redeemed Game of Thrones Season 8. I know many people had doubts because they were disappointed by how season 8 ended and how the show fell from grace. House of the Dragon redeems Game of Thrones. Unlike the books. The Dance of Dragons storyline is already written and has an ending. The cast all do a fantastic job, and Matt Smith, who plays Daemon, is the best character in the show. He is badass, and he's so much fun to watch. Princess Rhaeyna is a fantastic character too, and I love how they wrote her as a character who wants to be the queen she's better written than Galadriel is in Rings of Power. I also loved King Visery in the show, played by Paddy Considine. Give that man an Emmy for his performance. The CGI was also great, and the battles in this show are epic.
I highly recommend this show, and everyone on this show does an amazing job.

Here are the worst shows of 2022, and I just hate these shows. If you like them, that's fine.

4. Obi-Wan
This show was a letdown, and it wasn't even about Obi-Wan it was about Reva and Leia. Originally the show was about Obi-Wan and Luke, but Kathleen Kennedy messed it up and forced Deb Chow to change it. I feel like Deb Chow got screwed over because I think her original drafts were way better. Also, this show has a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies. Obi-Wan gets burned by Darth Vader and has zero burns on his body it makes no sense? I find it weird that Aunt Puru, a very kind and nice character, has guns ready to defend their home? Why wasn't she like that in A New Hope? It makes no sense! Plus, other things that made no sense, like how Reva survived being stabbed by Darth Vader? This show just wasn't what I expected it to be, and I blame Kennedy. She's got to go. Now for the cast. They all did a good job; it's just the writing sucked.
I recommend watching How it Should have Ended Obi-Wan. It's so funny and points out the show's problems.

3. Moon Knight

Moon Knight was a letdown because, as I wrote about how I would have made Moon Knight. It should have been a dark and gritty show, but it wasn't. Moon Knight could have been Marvel's Batman. It was a letdown they just butchered this character. This show makes me worried about Daredevil Born Again because Charlie has said the show won't be gory, but it will still be dark. Moon Knight was not what I expected it to be because I read comics and wanted something dark and gritty.
This is what Moon Knight fans wanted to see.
As well, I think they messed up the three personalities of Marc Spencer.
You can check that out on my How Marvel Should Have Made Moon Knight.

2. She-Hulk

She-Hulk was another letdown. I hated how the character was written, and the show wasn't a court-drama comedy. It was more about hating YouTubers and Critics of this show. In the show, what makes Jen Walters angry is getting catwalk on the street. Why not be mad at losing a court case or letting down her client who relied on her to help them. That would have made more sense. This show was a letdown, and I hated how they wrote She-Hulk in the show because she came off as unlikeable, while in the comics, she's a great character. I hated how they changed the character's origin instead of Bruce saving her through a blood transfusion. Instead, she gets his blood on her during a car accident. I admit I was excited to see Daredevil in the show, but She Hulk's twerking scene was cringe to watch. Mantis's dance in the Holiday special was funny because Mantis is more likable than She-Hulk. The showrunners messed up badly, and the CGI was crap in the show.
The She-Hulk from the animated show is what She-Hulk should have been based on.
This is the She-Hulk we should have gotten from the animated series.

Also hated how Skarr, the son of Hulk, was introduced in the show.
What we got.
What we wanted.

1. Rings of Power

I hate this show so much that you all know how I feel about this garbage fan fiction. That's all I need to write. I also found the shipping of Galadriel and Sauron very creepy and not needed at all. Not to mention, they changed way too much of the lore. When Jackson made the films, he respected Tolkien's work, but he made changes but small in comparison to Amazon's show. The showrunners made more lore changes, which didn't work.

So that's my favorite and worst shows for me to agree or disagree with me this year. Again, if you like these shows, that's fine. I'm just writing about how I feel about these shows that I loved and hated.
