Project Hail Mary Review
So I saw Project Hail Mary, and here's my review. Overall, this was a good film. It combines heartwarming moments, comedy, and sci-fi elements, making it this generation’s ET. The story follows a science teacher named Ryland Grace, who wakes up on a spacecraft and slowly regains his memory. As he pieces things together, he realizes he needs to discover the nature of a mysterious substance that’s causing the sun to die. Eventually, in his journey, he meets an alien who shares the same mission. He names Rocky because he is made of rocks.
I enjoyed this film a lot, as it has so much heart, moments that will make you laugh, and scenes that will make you tear up. The cast of the film is great, like Ryan Gosling. Most of the film is him by himself on a spaceship, but we do see flashback scenes of how he got on the ship. This film is really good, and I had a good time with it, but heads up, it is a long film, like there were moments where I thought it’s over, but it’s not. It does drag on, but it’s still a good film.
I give this film an 8 out of 10. It’s one of the best films I’ve seen this year so far.
