Malcolm in the Middle Life is Still Unfair Review Some Spoilers.

My review of Malcolm in the Middle Life's Still Unfair.

So I saw Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair, and I loved it. It was great seeing everyone again and new characters too, like Malcolm's daughter, Leah, and his new girlfriend, Tristian, as well as Kelly, Malcolm's Non-Binary sibling. This show basically picks up years later, and Malcolm is living his best life, having not seen his family in years. Still, when his parents' 40th anniversary is coming up, his folks want him there, and they find out he has a daughter he never told them about, whose mother abandoned them. His girlfriend, Tristin, and Leah get along because they both make fun of Malcolm.

Now the series pays tribute to three actors who aren't with us anymore, like Daniel Von Bargen, Cloris Leachman, and Kenneth Mars. Now, everyone in the show is still the same, like Reese is still the same. There were some very funny moments with him. Dewey is in the show and is a famous musician. Francis and Pima are having their first kid, which, to be honest, is weird. They would have kids by now. Still, not, also Stevie returns, and he's married and has a son, Jamie comes back, he's in the army, and he's a trouble maker, and we meet Kelly, and at first I didn't like Kelly, but they grow on you, and we hear their coming out story, it's pretty emotional. As well, Reese and Kelly are funny together.

I do like Malcolm's daughter, Leah; she's basically him, as she can break the fourth wall. But there was one scene I didn't like: when she and Tristan trick him, she hits her father's head with a car door like five times. I'm like, "Wow, you know that's your father, and he might get severely hurt for that." If I were Malcolm, I would ground her for two months for that. Hell, I think they should have ended the last episode with Malcolm grounding her for doing that, and he makes her clean the whole party room with a toothbrush, like Malcolm and his brothers did when they made a mess at their house. I would have Leah comment, "So this is what it's like to be grounded. Well, you got to pay for the consequences." processed to clean the party room.

Hal was so funny in this, and he's still the same goofy guy we all love. Lois is funny in this show, and she's still the same. Also heads up you do see Hal naked in two episodes.
Also, Tristan becomes honest with Malcolm, admitting her dark secret, which is actually much worse than Malcolm keeping his family a secret. Trust me, you will be shocked by it, and a real person would properly not want to date this person anymore. Still, I like her, and she made me laugh.

Now, the show does resolve a lot of things, and the last episode is a great ending because it's actually emotional, where you learn why Malcolm cut himself off from the family. Lois doesn't berate him; instead, she tells him she misses him and that he's a good man and a good father to Leah. Malcolm is a better parent than his own parents. Malcolm just felt so much pressure from his family because he was so smart, but Lois tells him the truth, you realize all that stuff they said in the finale was just a plan, and if it didn't happen, they were okay with it because Malcolm has a great life, and they are proud of him no matter what. It is a heartwarming moment between Malcolm and Lois because they love and miss each other.

Overall, I love this show, and there were a lot of funny moments that made me laugh. Also, there is good character development, and it's fun seeing all the characters again because they have changed, and some of them haven't.
I'm down for another season of this because it was so much fun, and I got to say, no matter what, Malcolm's family will always cause chaos in the end. This mini-series is 8 out of 10. It's a feel-good show, and you will have a fun time watching it.
