Bright Movie Review

Bright Movie Review.
Some Spoilers.

So I saw Bright and heres my review of it....its ok. Its not anything epic, but the premise of it is pretty cool like what if Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, and Dragons existed in modern day. This was directed by David Ayer the guy made that awesome WW2 film Fury and Suicide Squad that sucked. This movie is actually better than Suicide Squad it actually had a better villain than Suicide Squad had. Also this film was written Max Landis too I got to say to two guys who I admire they have been getting nothing but bad luck in their movies.

The difference between the Bright Orcs and Tolkien Orcs.
You feel bad for the orcs in Bright while in Lord of the Rings its fun to see them get killed.

Buddy Cop Fantasy film.

Now the film is about two cops named Scott and Nick, Nick being the orc. They find themselves protecting an elf named Tikka who has a magic wand that grand any wish. There are evil elves are trying to get the wand and bring back a dark lord to take over world. Their evil elves they kill a baby at one point. This does have a Lord of the Rings feel to it if you think about it. This film makes you feel bad for the orcs they are looked down by so many because they fought for the Dark Lord, oh my god this a follow up to Lord of the Rings. LOL. Still I have to say Nick played Joel Ederton was my favourite character he was funny and feel for him, he's the only orc who is in the police officer who gets shit on by the rest cops because of his background. Also Wart played by Will Smith is also cool character he's a bit of an ass to Nick but he still looks out for him. These two actors did a great job together and their both entertaining to watch. Not to mention in this movie the elves are dicks like you will not like the elves, well except for two of them. Tikka the elf who has the magic wand is pretty bland character but she is a little interesting latter on. I found some of the action scenes are good and it's got a lot good humour in it.

This film big lesson is to respect all equality.
Even an Orc.
This movie wasn't bad or great its just an ok movie it could have been better. None the less I give this film a solid C. It's a fine movie. To be honest I felt like this film should have focused more on the Orcs and their lives in a modern day world that would have been more interesting to see.

Happy Holidays everyone!
