My Fantastic Four Reboot Fan Cast and Ideas.
Now as some of you know I did a previous Fantastic 4 fan cast awhile back now I'm doing a new one with some changes to casting and including my ideas on what Marvel needs to do to finally give us a good Fantastic 4 film.
First here are my choices for a director of this film.
Brad Bird
Brad Bird is a fan favourite to direct but recently he has said he doesn't want to direct a Fantastic 4 and because he wants to do something more original. But hey never say never maybe he will change his mind.
Matthew Vaughn
Matthew Vaughn as said he wants to make a Fantastic 4 Reboot I would say yeah and it he seems he really wants to make one. Mainly because he produced that awful 2015 reboot and really wants to make things right with fans.
Jon Faverau
Jon is another director I would go with because he's made Iron Man, Jungle Book, and Elf. He seems like the right guy to make a family superhero film.
Jonathan Levine
Jonathan is another choice of mine I know he hasn't made action films mostly comedy but that makes him good choice to direct.
Peyton Reed
Peyton has express he wants to make a Fantastic Four film and he does have an idea for a film. I would give him a shot as director I know Ant Man and The Wasp had problems but hey maybe he could do a better job with Fantastic Four.
Edger Wright
Edger Wright is someone who got screwed over by Disney I feel like Marvel made a huge mistake giving him up. I feel like he should get another shot at Marvel film but if he doesn't want it I understand.
John Krasinski
Why not I mean he is a fan favourite for Mr. Fantastic and he's also made big director debut in a Quiet Place which got great write ups.
If I had to choose I say Matthew Vaughn would be my first choice for the film personally all of them would do a good job with this franchise.
Now here is my cast for a Fantastic 4 reboot
John Krasinski as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic
Let's face it John Krasinski is a huge fan favourite for the role of Mr. Fantastic he has the right look, he's at the right age, he's a great actor he was awesome in Quiet Place, The Office, Jack Ryan, and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers, and all of those fan pics of him as Mr. Fantastic. He's right for the role of Mr. Fantatic. My original choice was Richard Madden but he will be playing Ikaris in The Eternals Movie coming out next year.
Blake Livley as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman
Blake Livley was my first choice for Invisible Woman and I still want her for the role. She's married to Ryan Reynolds and hey a Deadpool team up with Fantastic 4 would have Deadpool commenting that him and Invisible Woman are married in a different life. I feel like Blake is the right choice for the role and she's a great actress like she's awesome in The Town, and she got a lot of praise for A Simple Favor.
Dacre Montgomery as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch
Dacre Montgomery from Power Rangers and Stranger Things is who I want to see play Johnny Storm The Human Torch. My previous choice was Colin Ford because I wanted an actor around the same as Tom Holland because I would love to see a Fantastic 4 team up with Spiderman. Dacre is around the same age as Tom he was born 94 and Tom was born in 96 so two year difference. Dacre also has that cool attitude to him so yeah he might be the best choice for the role.
John Cena as Ben Grimm/The Thing
John Cena I know many of you will say but he's a wrestler actor but I would say three things. One he's got better at acting, Two he's actually been doing actual good films like Bumblebee, Blockers, Trainwreck, Ferdinand, and he'll be in James Gunn's Suicide Squad Reboot, and Three he's got the right attitude and look to play Ben Grimm. My original choice was Alan Ritchson but he's busy with Titans and from interviews he doesn't want to do MCU film.
Luke Evans as Victor Von Doom/Dr. Doom
Casting Dr. Doom was hard because my original was Aidan Turner and he's my second choice for the role. I think Luke Evans would be a solid choice for Dr. Doom his performance in The Hobbit Films, Beauty and The Beast, Professor Marston and The Wonder Women, and Fast and Furious 6. Luke is a great actor and he's got the right look and acting style to play a character like Dr. Doom. Dr. Doom would be the main villain in the second film because we all know him being the main villain in the first one doesn't work out. He would also appear in forth film were it would be his redemption arc for the character.
Carey Mulligan as Alicia Masters
Carey Mulligan is who I want to see play Alicia Masters. I originally wanted Jane Levy but I feel like I cast her too much in many of my fan casts. Alicia is Ben's blind girlfriend who loves him for who he is and helps him accept who he is. Alicia is one of biggest supporting characters in the Fantastic 4 as well she's now part of the family in the comics for she and Ben are now married. Alicia could be another great role model to blind people like Daredevil is. Carey Mulligan is known from Wall Street Money Never Sleeps, Drive, Pride and Prejudice, Wildlife, and An Education.
Danny Pudi as HERBIE
HERBIE is like JARVIS a computer program that helps the Fantastic 4 out with missions and he would also bring the comedy to films too. HERBIE would be voice by none other then Danny Pudi aka Abed and Huey from Community and Ducktales.
Taylor Lautner as Wyatt Wingfoot
Wyatt Wingfoot is one of Johnny Storm's best friends and in the supporting cast of the Fantastic 4. Wyatt is skilled in hand to hand combat as well he's a great athlete, and he's former marine soldier. He trains all of the Fantastic 4 in single hand combat to help fight against their enemies.
Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spiderman
Spiderman has been ally with the Fantastic 4 for years and the character's first team up was with the Fantastic 4. Since Disney and Sony made a new deal and theres two more films with Spidey in the MCU and I really hopes its a Fantastic 4 film. I really want to see a Spiderman and Fantastic 4 film happen in the future. One thing in this idea is that Peter and Johnny are best friends and he becomes an honorary member of the Fantastic 4. He would make a cameo in the first film and have a big role in the second film and the forth film. It's also revealed that Peter is a huge fan of Reed Richards and he's got a small crush on Sue Storm. Him and Johnny love to pull pranks on Ben but they both learn hard lesson not to prank Ben all the time.
Samantha Isler as Crystal
Crystal is an Inhuman and would be Johnny's love interest in the film. Now we all want to forget about that awful Inhumans show and I think Marvel is already planning to reboot the Inhumans with that Ms. Marvel show coming out. Crystal should be part of the Fantastic 4 franchise as a love interest for Johnny Storm. Crystal would also fill in for Invisible Woman as she is pregnant in the forth film with Franklin. She would appear in the third film and forth film.
Thomas Hadden Church as Franklin Storm
Franklin Storm is the father of Sue and Johnny Storm and father in law to Reed. Franklin would be in the first two films as supporting character as well helping the Fantastic 4 out. This version of Franklin is a mixed between Earth 616 and Ultimate Universe. He was a successful surgeon who failed to save his wife and he fell into a deep depression after her death. Since though he has gotten his act together but him and Johnny aren't that close. Franklin and Sue though have a very good relationship with each other. My original choice was Jeff Daniels but I went with Thomas Hadden Church this time. Franklin would be killed off in the second film by Dr. Doom, Before he dies he tells Sue and Johnny he loves them and he's proud of both of them, and Reed and Sue named their first born son after him.
Viggo Mortensen as Nathaniel Richards
Nathaniel Richards is Reed's father a brilliant scientist who was experimenting time travel but something went wrong and he became lost in time. In the film he was experimenting to discover a way to travel to the Negative Zone which resulted him getting trap in the negative zone but he escaped but he went through different eras of times and realties. Nathaniel would be in the third film were he warns Reed and the Fantastic 4 of Annihilus.
Nick Frost as Harvey Elder/Mole Man
Mole Man would be in the first film as the main villain I really don't want Dr. Doom to be the main villain in the first film and I'll explain why in my ideas. Mole Man was the first enemy of the Fantastic 4 fought against so it makes sense in making him the villain in the first film. Harvey's goal is to get revenge on the surface world for how he was treated by society and so he becomes the leader of underground alien race and their goal is to destroy the surface world.
Elodie Yung as Lucia Von Bardas
Lucia Von Bardas is the prime minister of Latveria and Dr. Doom's right hand and lover in the films. Lucia is also a cyborg too and she would be in the first film as a university teacher who was actually funding money to the Tinkler and Vulture from Spiderman Homecoming. In the second film she joins Dr. Doom becomes prime minister of Latveria and the two become lovers and she wants to kill Sue Storm because Doom still has feelings for her. Now I casted Elodie Yung who played Elektra in Daredevil but you know Mahershala Ali is playing Blade so yeah.
Mark Hamill as Annihilus
Annihilius is a villain that Marvel has been teasing for awhile that he will be the next big bad and theres rumours he's going to GOFTG VOL 3 or Avengers 5. I would have Annihilius appear in the third Fantastic 4 film as the main villain and in that film the Fantastic 4 go to the negative zone with Reed's father to stop Annihilius. Annihilius is the lord of the Negative Zone and he's one of the most dangerous and terrifying villains in the Marvel Universe. I originally went with Michael McElhatton but I wanted to go with an actor who can do a much more scary voice and I think Mark Hamill is the right one because of his icon Joker voice.
Oona Chaplin as Cynthia von Doom
Cynthia is Dr. Doom's mother who was gyspy who practice in the dark arts of magic. At one point she made a deal with Mephisto to protect her people the Zefiro from a Baron and his men. She used her powers to kill the Baron and his men but also killed her own people because thats Mephisto's way of screwing you over a deal. She then killed herself and her death was devastating to Victor because he loved his mother very much and her death hit him hard. That's also a reason he takes over Latveria and hated the royal family who do this. She would appear in a flashback of Dr. Doom and I have another idea for the character.
Rufus Sewell as Werner von Doom
Werner von Doom was the father of Dr. Doom and husband to Cynthia. He was the doctor of a group the Zefiro after the Baron and his men attacked the group simply because Werner couldn't save the Baron's wife from a sickness. Werner escaped with his son while his wife used her magic to kill the Baron and his men but it also resulted in her killing all of the Zefiro. Werner eventually died of freezing temperatures but made sure Victor would live after they were saved by his old friend Boris and a Romani camp.
Levi Miller as Kristoff Vernard
Kristoff is adopted son of Dr. Doom, Dr. Doom adopted him after his mother's death. Kristoff's mother was killed by the previous King of Latveria's robot guard. Victor saw great potential in Kristoff and so he adopted the boy as his son and made him his heir and the next King Latveria. Kristoff would appear in a mid credit scene and have a bigger role in the forth film and he would also show the good in Dr. Doom as well it's revealed thats he's actually Nathaniel Richards son making him Reed's half brother.
Alfred Molina as Boris
Boris was a Romani man who looked after Victor after his family was killed he would play a part in the second film and forth film. He would serve as one of Doom's advisors.
Jesse Williams as Norrin Radd/The Silver Surfer
The Silver Surfer is another Marvel character fans want to see get done right because lets face it Rise of the Silver Surfer he really wasn't that great. Silver Surfer would be in the forth Fantastic 4 film at first he's a threat but later its revealed that he's actually a slave to Galactus. He would eventually join forces with the Fantastic 4 to defeat Galactus. His origin is Norrin Radd made a deal to serve Galactus in exchange that he won't destroy his planet and mainly for the safety of his wife.
Jeffery Wright as The Watcher
Jeffery Wright will voice the Watcher in the What If tv series and I can see the character be in other shows and movies too. I think the character would be in a Fantastic 4 film and he would warn everyone of the coming Galactus and they all must prepare for the end. It could be mention that he witness the Infinity war and he survived Thanos snap. Also they could have scene about great wise old man who he learned a lot from named Stan.
Mark Strong as Galactus
Galactus would be the main villain in the forth film and as you know Marvel has seem tease he might actually be the next big bad after Thanos. I would have the character appear in the forth film and now the forth film would have the Avengers, The X Men, and The Fantastic 4 as well. They all must fight him and he's most powerful enemy they have fought since Thanos. Also don't worry he won't be a giant storm cloud he's actually giant thats the size of a planet and can shrink down to size of a building. Mark Strong has the right the right voice to voice this character.
Harry Lloyd as Nathaniel Richards/Kang the Conquer/Maker.
Now if I were to make a fifth film I would have Kang the Conquer as the villain because he is a descended of Reed and Sue as well Doom too. However, in the ultimate universe the Reed Richards of that universe becomes a villain known as Maker and he's likes one of the most evil characters in Marvel. What I would do is combine both characters of Kang and Maker like he's still called Nathaniel Richards but he has the that Maker persona. In the film Nathaniel Richards also known as Maker comes from the 30th century seeking aid from the Fantastic 4 telling them that he needs their help fighting against this evil threat and he also reveals that he's a descended of Reed and Sue. At first and Reed and Sue agree to help him but both Johnny and Ben are suspicious of Nathaniel. They travel with him to the 30 century and he's fighting these villains who are trying to sabotage his work. They help him at first but then when Johnny and Ben are capture the rebels and the rebels reveal that Nathaniel is actually the bad guy and his name is Kang the Conquer. Johnny and Ben learn about his history as well they learn he has destroy eight planets in the solar space killing one trillion people.
Kang the Conquer has been rumoured for years now to be in future MCU film and I personally think introducing the character in a Fantastic 4 film first is best route to go with before an Avengers film.
The fifth film would be the last Fantastic 4 film were they face off against a descended of Reed and Sue and in shocking twist Victor von Doom as well.
That's my cast for an MCU Fantastic 4 films series now here are my ideas for a MCU Fantastic 4 film franchise.
13. Make these movies light hearted and fun with some serious moments but a fun film all the same.
The Fantastic 4 was Stan Lee first creation as well they are the first family superhero group. These films need to be about family, saving world, facing everyday problems families face, and always standing by each other. Fantastic 4 needs to be light heart and fun it shouldn't dark or too serious like it still does need to be a serious film too because the second film has them facing off against Dr. Doom and the second is dark but still has fun moments to it. I would say look at the previous MCU films for inspiration on how to balance light and dark as well fun and serious moments.
12. Learn from Fox's mistakes.
Now we all know Fox had the worst luck making a good Fantastic 4 film they just got bad writers and directors for this franchise. Knowing Marvel they will likely know what to do and they most likely watched these films and know what Fox got wrong with the characters. Marvel likely know what they need to do get the characters done right hopefully.
11. Either re tell their origin and get it right or already established them they have been lost in time and space.
Now there are many ideas on how the Fantastic 4 can be interduce in the MCU now one idea came from Peyton Reed who suggest the film be set in the 60s and they skipped their origin story which could work out. Like Marvel could re tell the origin story again and get right this time or they can do what they did with Spiderman just skip the origin and already have them already established as Spiderman was. They could do a whole they've been lost in space and time they have finally returned after Thanos's snap and they bought out the Avengers tower and have re named it the Baxter Building.
10. Have a Hulk VS Thing fight happen in one of the films.
Now this a fight we all want to see besides Wolverine VS Hulk we all want to see a The Thing VS The Hulk. That would be an epic, fun fight between the two.
9. Either interduce Franklin and Valeria in the first film or set them up.
Now Reed and Sue's children have been part of the Fantastic 4 series for years and we never got them on film. I mean it was said the cancel Fantastic 4 3 film was going to interduce Franklin Richards, but that film got cancelled. The MCU could go both ways like interduce Franklin and Valeria already or have no kids until a future film because a lot of Fantastic 4 fans want to see these kids in a film.
My idea is the forth film would have Sue would become pregnant and give birth to Franklin and if I were to do fifth film I would interduce Valeria.
8. Have a team up with Spiderman while Marvel still can.
Now Spiderman and The Fantastic 4 have a long history with each other and we need to see this team up happen.
Let's remember the first issue of Spiderman had him attempting to join the Fantastic 4 but it didn't happen but he became a member later on. He even replace Johnny as member of the team after his death in FF and it was Johnny's request for him to replace him. In the films Spidey would have a cameo in the first film and he reveals he's a huge fan of Reed Richards and also we would see Spidey and The Human Torch interact in in end credit scene. Now in the second film he plays a bigger a role as he helps The Fantastic 4 fight against Dr. Doom. In the end he becomes an honorary member of the team. The forth film he's in it because of Galatcus mainly.
7. Get Johnny Storm aka Human Torch Right.
Now Johnny Storm is the youngest of the team and is the show off of the group. Johnny needs to get done right like he's got be the cool guy, the show off, the guy who thinks he can manage on his own, and he's irresponsible. Now in Fox's films I feel like Johnny even though Chris Evans did a good job it just didn't work with him likes he's not that great of character in the film. Also Michael B Jordan his take on the character wasn't good too. It's funny how Chris and Michael would go on to star in better Marvel films and Chris is now forever known as Captain America and Michael is known as the Marvel's best villain so far Kilmonger. Still for Johnny Storm he needs be the cool rebel, youngest member, and him and Spidey got to be best friends,
Also Johnny and Ben have a lot of fights but at the same time they do care about each other like brothers. Johnny sees Ben even though he won't admit he sees Ben as a big brother in his life, and he does go to his sister and Reed for help too and sees Reed as his smart big brother.
6. Get Ben Grimm right.
Now the Thing now personally I felt Michael Chiklis did a great job as The Thing but Jamie Bell was miss casted but hey if hadn't done that movie he never would have met his future wife Kate Mara. Now what they need to do is make the Thing CGI which they did in 2015 but his character was still awful.
First film should take a lot of inspiration from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's run.
The Thing is a hero who hates what he looks like and thats how Stan Lee wanted to write him as this guy who got powers but he's hates it. He thinks he's a monster and feels like everyone is rejecting him for what he looks like now, but Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Alicia are there for him and they show they love him no matter what he is and they are team and a family that will always be there for each other. This would make Ben accept what he is become one of the best members of the Fantastic 4 and does what a hero does goes out and saves the world. The first film we see him struggle a lot with his super strength and him hating his look but later on we see him accept who he is and realizes his family accepts him and needs his helps to protect New York from MoleMan.
5. Get Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman right.
Now Sue Storm is the most powerful member on the team she creates force fields and barriers as well she can turn invisible too. Sue was not done right in the Fox films like for example look at the 2005 and 2007 films. This gif sums up Sue's role in the films.
Jessica Alba herself even hates these movies and they made her want to quit acting.
That was basically her role in those films she's naked for some reason and Kate Mara's version she's a boring character. Now for Sue she's the voice of reason, she's the most powerful member of the team, she's brave, smart, she's a loving wife, and mother. Sue in the film needs to get done right like still make her beautiful but she's got to have more character and personality to her. Also her relationship with Reed has more chemistry, they have actual real life couple problems but they both work at it. Also her relationship with Johnny she just wants her brother to be more mature and stuff like because after her mother died she had to look after him because their father fell into deep depression after her death. Also she sees Ben as the older brother she never got, and she was in a relationship with Victor but it didn't work out between and he blamed Reed. Sue needs to be a better character and a good female lead that everyone can relate to.
4. Get Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic done right.
Now Reed Richards is the smartest man in the Marvel Universe even smarter than Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Hank Pym, and Shuri. The character wasn't done right in Fox's films like Reed Richards is a smart ego manic but he has a good heart. He needs to be that type of leader who doesn't say "Lets go get em." instead the team would say "Reed, English Please!!" Also Reed needs to be shown as a leader who's smart and he's always trying to help his friends with their problems and making scientific break throughs, and keeping the team together. We also need his relationship with Dr. Doom done right because Reed actually believes that Victor could be a great man his own right but Doom always felt he was in Reed's shadow. Reed and Sue's relationship plays a big role in the films they don't get married until the third film and the forth film they become parents for the first time and worried what will they do with their kids.
He's got to be the smartest character in the MCU and he even outsmarts Bruce Banner, Rocket, and Shuri.
As well we could see Mr. Fantastic be part of the Illuminati which a superhero group that represents the superhero community. We could see Reed join them and be part of it but its a kept secret though and I think Illuminati roaster would be Mr. Fantastic, Professor X, Black Panther, Namor, Dr. Strange, and Black Bolt. We sadly won't see Iron Man so Black Panther fills in the void.
3. Get Dr. Doom Right.
Now Dr. Doom is one character that needs to get done right most of all after three bad films wasting him. What they need to do with Dr. Doom is make him what he is, he's not a villain Stan Lee himself even said that he's not villain. Dr. Doom believes he should rule the world because he thinks make it a better place. Marvel needs to also dive into his origins to like his life growing up as gypsy, we see him loose his mother and father and his friends, and we see him grow up go to America were he's one of the smartest men there until he meets Reed thus their rivalry is born. Victor has always believed he was in Reed's shadow but Reed never believe that and he always admired Victor's work and believe he can do great things with it. The Fantastic 4 and Dr. Doom despite being mortal enemies, The Fantastic 4 have this love hate relationship with Dr. Doom like deep down they won't give up on Victor.
Now the most important thing is that Marvel shouldn't make him the villain in the first film because we've seen how that doesn't work out. Victor von Doom needs to get set up to be the next villain like he gets his powers, he helps the Fantastic 4 at one point, he has a bad fallout with the team, he leaves and goes back to Latveria. The post credit scene showing him donning on the mask. The second film we would see him become the King of Latveria and his first goal is to wage war on the US. He attacks New York with Doombots and with aid of his prime minister Lucia Von Bardas. We would see Doom do terrible things like he kills Sue and Johnny's father Franklin. After he is defeated by the Fantastic 4 he goes back to Latveria. We wouldn't see Doom again till the forth film were he makes his return to help them this time to take down Galatcus and it's his redemption story arc. One of his redemptions is he adopts a young boy named Kristoff Vernard whose mother was killed and names Kristoff his heir to the throne of Latveria.
2. Make Noah Hedway's Dr. Doom Movie because it can better develop the character of Victor Von Doom aka Dr. Doom.
Now some of you know or don't Noah Hedway the creator of the hit FX show Legion was and maybe still going to make a Dr. Doom film. After Disney bought out Fox it seemed like this film was going to get cancelled but I've heard Noah and Kevin Fegie have had some talks about the film. It is possible that this film could still happen or not but you know since we are getting a Loki TV Series, I think we should get a Dr. Doom Movie or maybe even tv mini series to further develop the character.

1. Don't Screw It Up For The Fifth TIME!!!!
Now this just main thing we all want from a Fantastic 4 film is we don't want another bad film. We've had three bad films unless you count the 94 film. All of us fans just want a good Fantastic 4 film done right that's fun, exciting, full of adventures, and going to places unknown. Now since Kevin Feige announced that there is a film in the works but if anything changes maybe a tv series could be a better option but I think Fantastic 4 can still work in film. It just needs to be done right, get the right people behind it like already we got Kevin Feige behind the project but get good writers and a good director and don't screw up the characters again.
