My Avengers Teams

 

So today, I'm going to tell ya my idea for an Avengers comic because the current Avengers comic sucks. Like the whole Enter Phoenix is bad. Marvel keeps making Avengers stories into major crossovers and events. I think Marvel needs a new direction for the Avengers. Here's my idea for an Avengers story. Which I will write in a separate blog.    

I respect Jason Aaron as a writer; I'm just not a fan of the Avengers arc because it's really not that good.

As well, the characters just don't seem like themselves. Also, Captain Marvel bullies and treats Iron Man-like crap. I want to see Avengers comics where the characters respect each other and stay true to their characters in their solo books.

If I were to do something with Marvel, I would bring back more Avengers titles just like Heroic Age. I would relaunch Avengers, 

New Avengers, Mighty Avengers, Secret Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, and Dark Avengers

So I'm basically my take on how I would write an Avengers comic. So let's begin the Avengers breaks up again, Black Panther, Ghost Rider (Robbie Reynes), She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, and Blade quit the team. After this breakup, Cap, Iron Man, and Thor decide it's time for a New Avengers team, and they relocate to New York, and Tony builds a new Avengers Tower. So basically, they leave behind the base. 

So Tony builds a new Avengers Tower that's so tall it's bigger than almost any building in New York. Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man then go recruit new members. They decided they wanted members to represent all the superhero communities from street-level heroes, magical heroes, cosmic heroes, and at least one X-Man character to the team. This Avengers is more open to the public and does more for the people of New York. 

So they form a New Avengers team; the rooster is the following 

Captain America Team Leader

Cap would return as team leader of the Avengers, and his goal is to lead Avengers to protect the world and become a symbol and an idea of hope for the people. He decides to reform the team after learning of a new threat led by Baron Zemo. 

Iron Man Second In Command

Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, serves as second in command of the team. Tony is the group's brains, and he builds a new Avengers Tower bigger than ever. Its aIt's the most defended building in New York. 

Thor

Thor, the God of Thunder and long-time Avenger, is part of the team and serves as its most powerful member. 

Scarlet Witch

Wanda Maximoff, aka The Scarlet Witch, would serve as the magical member of the team. She's been a long-time Avenger and is recruited by Iron Man, and she agrees to serve as a full-time member.

Spiderman

Spiderman would join the team as the funny guy of the group. At first, he's not sure about joining, but he agrees to participate like Cap did in New Avengers. He won't wear his current costume because Cap and some of the Avengers don't think it's a good look for him. So Spidey wears his red and blue outfit. 

Moon Knight

Moon Knight is a weird choice as a member of this Avengers team. He was offered to join previously by Black Panther, but he turned it down. After he meets with Cap, he agrees to join the team after Cap helps stop a child trafficking show after thinking long and hard. Moon Knight would be like the Batman of the team and the tough guy on the team. 

Spectrum  

Spectrum would join the team serving as a cosmic member of the team. Monica joins due to Iron Man's request, and as well she's one of the most intelligent characters in the Marvel universe. She's also way better than Captain Marvel because she's more likeable and Monica and Tony work better together. He even tells her that he always thought she was the best Captain Marvel, and she tells him she considers him to be one of the greatest inventors of their time. 

Havok

Havok would join the team being a represented of the mutant community and an X Man. Alex agrees to join the group at Thor's request, and Alex misses his old days as an Avenger.

This Avengers Team focuses more on protecting the people, being an example and idea to people struggling in the world, and going up against the aliens, super villains, and other bad guys. 

Now, if I were to relaunch the New Avengers title, I would make this team more focused on fighting global threats in America and other countries around the world. This team is led by Black Panther, and their base is a mountain named New Avengers Mountain, but unlike the other one, this one is in Wakanda. 

After the team called it quits and learned of Cap, Iron Man, and Thor's new Avengers team. T'Challa meets with Cap and tells him he's proud of him, Tony, and Thor for bringing back the Avengers. Steve thanks him, but T'Challa believes there's a need to be more than one team to protect the world. So he tells him they should have more Avenger teams, and he wants to form his own that will help every country in the world, and for one, Avengers can't answer the call from any danger. Cap agrees to T'Challa's ideas,s and it remains them both of the Heroic Age. Were there more Avengers teams, and maybe it's time for there to be more teams? 

So thus a second Avengers Team aka New Avengers is the rooster is

Black Panther Team Leader 

Black Panther assembles a second Avengers team that will protect and defend all countries worldwide. He builds a new base on a mountain in Wakanda and calls it New Avengers Mountain. 

Wasp Second in Command 

Wasp is the first to be recruited on the team, and T'Challa appoints her as Second in Command for her long time being an Avenger. 

Storm

T'Challa then goes to Kraoka, where he meets Storm, and the two have rekindled their relationship. Black Panther tells her of an Avengers team he's putting together, and she mentions how Thor recruited Havok to his Avengers team. She asks T'Challa what makes this team different, and Black Panther tells her their goal is to protect every country in the world while the other Avengers face off against various threats. Storm thinks for a moment, and she agrees to join and for her T'Challa to spend more time together. However, she recommends he recruit one more X Man to the team, and Black Panther asks who she has in mind.

Beast

Storm recommends Beast to the team as he was the first X-Man to be an Avenger. Beast agrees to be part of the new team, and he, like Havok, missed being an Avenger. Beast joins the team as the group's brains and even helps the team with research on what the team is up against. 

She-Devil

Black Panther, along with Storm, Beast, and Wasp, head to the Savage Land to recruit a member of the Savage Land, and that is She-Devil. She-Devil isn't sure about joining since she and her husband Ka-Zar are too busy protecting the Savage Land. However, her husband Ka-Zar encourages his wife to join the team. The people of the Savage Land need to see someone who is part of a team like the Avengers. She then agrees to join the group.

Shang Chi

Black Panther then goes to Hong Kong, where he meets Shang Chi and helps out during a fight with a mafia. After that, Black Panther tells him of a team he's putting together and wants him to join. Shang Chi agrees to join and has all the free time to be a full-time Avenger. 

Daredevil

T'Challa goes to Hell's Kitchen, where he meets with Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil. Let's say Daredevil is now free from prison and is Daredevil again. T'Challa wants to recruit him to the team, much to Daredevil's shock at that offer, but Daredevil isn't too big on the idea and says no but thanks, but T'Challa tells him how he stepped in to protect Hell's Kitchen for him after Daredevil went soul searching. He thinks Matt would be a good fit on this t, team, and he owes him, but he understands if he doesn't want to join. He knows Matt is not a big team player, but he leaves his card if he has a change of heart. Daredevil thinks about it. He talks to Elektra and Foggy about it, and Elektra tells him he should take the offer. It would be perfect for him, and, Foggy believes the same. After hearing what they had to say, Daredevil goes to T'Challa and agrees to join the team. 

This new Avengers team deals with all the world's problems from Europe to Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America, and North America. Their first significant threat to face against is Mandarin, planning a new invasion and conquering all of the worlds. 

The next team is a relaunch of Secret Avengers, and if I were to relaunch this title. The Secret Avengers would be a black ops team that will take out enemies in secret, thus Secret Avengers. Black Widow decides to reform under the influence of Nick Fury Jr. The only people who know about them are The Avengers, Nick Fury Jr, and the New Avengers. The whole world doesn't know about them. As welll,l this team is smaller than the other two teams. It only has five-member on the team. 

The team rooster for this team.

Black Widow Team Leader 

Black Widow would lead this secret team, and she makes it clear they will kill, but they never kill an unarmed enemy or anyone who surrenders. She reforms the team by Nick Fury Jr's request as well. She meets with Cap, Iron Man, and Thor tells them about improving the Secret Avengers, they approve of the idea, but this team should be kept secret from the world for they can quietly deal with foes in the shadows. However, Black Widows tells them this Secret Avengers will kill, but she's only getting those willing to take a life. As much as Steve, Tony, and Thor don't like that because Avengers don't kill the rule, they know Black Widow has a history before being an Avenger, and she does have a code. She also says she already has some people's minds, and it's people she knows who have killed but don't enjoy it.   

Ronin Second in Command

Hawkeye would be part of the team and given his history with Natasha he joins the team and Black Widow names him second in command. When he joins the team he decides not to join as Hawkeye instead he uses other superhero name Ronin. Because he thinks his alter ego Ronin works better for Secret Avengers than Hawkeye. 

Winter Solider 

Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier would join the team under Black Widow's request and he is the first recruited. He agrees and he knows about a secret a group that the Secret Avengers need to stop before they become known. Bucky and Clint don't exactly get along seeing how they both dated Black Widow but she chooses them anyway because they are best shooters. 

War Machine 

Jim Rhodes aka War Machine would join the Secret Avengers after finally being able to wear his War Machine armour again. Being a past time member of this team he knows what their missions are about. He meets with Black Widow, Ronin and Winter Soldier at an air force base and at first he not sure about joining the team after his death from Thanos but he wants to get over it. Jim agrees to join the Secret Avengers. 

Psylocke 

Psylocke would join the team and this is her first time as an Avenger. This team she feels has a very X Force vibe to them and she likes it. She learns about the team from Hawkeye and by that reading his mind but she did it because she didn't know he was Ronin. When she learns about the team meets with them and she wants in because why not her closest friends have been Avengers she wants in too. So Black Widow makes her part of the team. 

This team their mission is to work in secret and take out enemies of the Avengers before they become public enemies. As well their first mission is take out a secret group of HYDRA agents who are trying to re create the Super Solider program and their leader is Arnim Zola.  

Now I how I would relaunch Mighty Avengers this is a team of Avengers that deal with magical threats, demons, and different realities. This is a more mystical team, more fantasy vibe team. The team formed by Dr. Strange who needs a group of heroes to help fight Nightmare who is messing with realties and he can't face it alone so he nows needs a team of warriors. Basically this rooster is a Sorcerer, a Knight, a Viking, a Rogue, and a Barbadian. 

The Team Rooster is 

Dr. Strange Team Leader 

Dr. Strange assembles a team of warriors as Nightmare is messing with realties. He decides he can't stop it on his own so he forms his own not the Defenders, but an Avengers team though he never officially calls them that. 

Black Knight Second in Command 

Black Knight joins the team and is the first to be recruited to Strange's team. He's one of the most powerful members of the teams and a great knight. He joins the team as Strange needs him to be the knight of his team. He's worked with Strange before as a Defender. Black Knight calls them the Mighty Avenges even though that annoys 

Sif 

Sif is recruited by Strange seeing how Thor and Valkyrie are both busy and Sif is a character really needs to shine more. She joins Strange's team and Strange sees her as a the viking he needs. I was going to use Valkyrie but I just find Jane Foster to be overused a lot and I'm not a big fan of the character so I went with Sif instead. 

Skarr 

Skarr is Hulk's son and is now back in action and joins Dr. Strange's team of Avengers. He serves as the Barbarian of the team and he knows that Strange and his dad worked together as Defenders and gladly would help Dr. Strange. 

Union Jack 

Joseph Chapman aka Union Jack is very weird choice of a member of this team. Like he would serve as the rogue of this team and at first he's kind of surprise that Strange wants him on the team. In fact it was Skarr who recommended him because he heard about him in France. He accepts the offer to be an Avenger on Strange's team. Seeing how some of his Invader friends have been Avengers.

This team is assembled by Strange to help him fight Nightmare who is taking over a realties and he has chosen these four to help save the multiverse as they journey into mystery.  

Now for the Uncanny Avengers being a big fan of that series after Avengers VS X Men. I think that series needs another chance. So heres how I would relaunch the the Uncanny Avengers. Seeing how the Avengers and X Men are doing well and working together better than ever, they decide to bring back the Avengers Unity Squad. Just like before this team is here show people that humans and mutants can work together in harmony and peace. The Uncanny Avengers first foe is Magneto his clone brought back from the dead. 

The Team Rooster is 

Rogue Team Leader 

Rogue would be chosen as team leader of the new Uncanny Avengers. Since being a founding member it would make sense have someone like her lead the team. 

Falcon Co Team Leader 

Falcon would join the team and be appointed second in command of the team. Falcon meets with Rogue and tells her about reforming the Avengers Unity Squad since they were past members they decide to lead the team together.

Warpath 

Warpath would volunteer to join the team as they need a tough and bad ass member on their team. 

Iron Fist 

Iron Fist joins under Falcon's request after Luke Cage turned it down the offer, Danny even pays for the bills at the mansion and he builds a new mansion for the Uncanny Avengers.

Dazzler 

Dazzler would join the team wanting to give being an Avenger a chance seeing how Havok is now one again. She was a member of A Force at one time.

Spiderwoman 

Spider Woman joins the team as she is recruited by Sam and she accepts the offer since she has history working with Iron Fist. However, Jessica not so big on working with Rogue since her best friend Carol and her have history. However, she's not quitting the team because of it even if Rogue is the leader but hey Sam is leader too. As well she living in a mansion would be good for her son Gerry. 

Now the last Avengers team is the infamous Dark Avengers. The team was originally villains posing as heroes then anti heroes or villains trying to reform. This is a team of former villains or characters who've done horrible things in the past but want to atone for their crimes and being better people. 

The Team Rooster is...

Luke Cage Team Leader 

Luke Cage aka Powerman reforms the Dark Avengers along with John Walker/US Agent since both having lead the Dark Avengers. Luke also wants to teach how to be better people and with US Agent wanting in they reform the Dark Avengers. For super powered people who've done wrong and want to be the best they can be. 

US Agent Co Team Leader 

John Walker aka US Agent would lead this team and he's trying to make them into heroes that can do good for people. He's working with people who have done wrong but want to be better people. So he reforms the Dark Avengers mainly because they all have a dark past. 

Dark Wolverine  

Daken would be a Dark Avenger again, and he's calling himself Wolverine again actually Dark Wolverine. Daken joins the team because he's done wrong in the past and since coming back to life he wants to be a better man as well he's doing for his girlfriend Aurora.

Scarlet Spider 

Kaine Parker aka Scarlet Spider will be a member of the team and is a more serious Spiderman. He's also more hardcore and more down to earth. When he joins the team Luke at fist thinks he's Spiderman's brother but Kaine confirms he's his clone but is also a brother. Scarlet Spider even asks Luke if ever forgave Peter for letting Doc Ock take over his body. Luke confirms he forgave Peter and they are good friends because earn back his trust and he made him proud. 

Mystique

That's right Mystique will join the Dark Avengers as she wants to be a better person so Daken brings her along and she joins the Dark Avengers. She wants to be a better person and make amends for some of her bad choices in life. 
 

Black Widow 

Yelena Belova aka the other Black Widow. Now this is another clone of Yelena that was kept hidden from the world after Yelena's death. She appears in a tube founded by US Agent, Daken, Scarlet Spider, Mystique, and Loki. She is set free and with the same memories as the original. She now joins the Dark Avengers as a member. Even though Luke doesn't like her because he's had history with her during the New Avengers but this is a clone and not the real deal. 

So those are my Avengers Teams that I would relaunch If I was to write for Marvel but knowing today Marvel they wouldn't go with these ideas I have. However, things change. Hopefully one day comics will get back to telling good stories and good characters. I'm just a fan who wants Marvel to get back on their feet.  As well respect their fans and not call them toxic or say stuff "If you don't like my comic book, don't buy my book." Cringe to that quote.
