My review of the Boys Finale Spoilers

So I saw the Boys Series Finale yesterday, and I will be honest, it was okay. It could have been better because there were so many wasted moments. Like in the comics, Homelander destroys most of the world after he gets Compound V, but no. All those posters of the final season were all lies none of that happens.
Honestly his death in the comics was much better but still Butcher did kill him the same way as the comics though except didn't show him his brain.
Also, Butcher and Frenchie are the only members of the Boys who die, but it's interesting to know that in the comics, all the Boys except for Hughie die. Now they kill Homelander, he dies begging for mercy after his powers get taken, unlike the comics, he's just going crazy. Also, the Deep dies, but his death is like you feel like Deep would have finally gotten redemption, but no, he gets killed by all the sea creatures because he caused the death of one of his friends. Ashley ends up in prison, even after she helps the Boys. Which I find funny because I think it was making fun of that trope where a villain does horrible things, but they are often forgiven or are seen as victims, too. But no, Ashley is arrested and removed as President of the United States.
Also, Hughie kills Butcher, which is faithful to the comics, and they have a funeral for him, and I thought it was funny how his grave stone fuck you and he is buried next to his wife which is nice. I do believe they ended Butcher's Storyline on a good note as well Hughie's.
As well I will say Terror the dog's death was very sad I felt for Butcher when his dog died. I think we can all relate to that.
What happens to everyone is Mother's Milk remarries his ex-wife and adopts Ryan as his own son, Kimiko goes to France and has a dog, Hughie and Starlight are having a baby, and she goes to stop a crime, but I'm like, you're six months pregnant, you shouldn't be going to stop a crime when you're pregnant.
As well, Soldier Boy doesn’t return, and he’s just gone after that. They should have had him in the last episode. Maybe he fights Butcher, and Butcher kills him. Well at least we will see Soldier Boy in the prequel show.
The whole episode just felt like they wasted a lot of opportunities, and I feel like the last season was rushed. It could have been better; it joins Game of Thrones and Dexter as the frustrating ends of a series that started out great but failed in the end, but I will say the ending was okay, unlike Game of Thrones and Dexter. Still, the final season was a letdown because they hyped it, but they messed up in the end. Still, the Cast of the show is all great, and there were some good moments in the last episode, like Ryan getting adopted Mother’s Milk, Hughie and Starlight having a family, and Kimiko honouring Frenchie by going to France, but the final season could have been better. I give 6 out of 10. I'll still be watching the Vought Prequel show because hey, House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms did redeem Game of Thrones, so maybe the Vought Prequel will too.
One thing that does annoy me is that the Gen V characters were wasted. Since we weren't getting a season 3 of Gen V, what was the point of having them? Ugh!
