My Thoughts on James Gunn's DCU plan.

My Thoughts on James Gunn's DCU Chapter One
Gods and Monsters.

So James Gunn has announced the first chapter of his DCU, and here are my thoughts on it. Now Gunn has announced that The Batman film series and Joker 2 will be Elseworld films, so they will be safe along with a few other stuff. I like the idea they can make other DC films and shows that can remain separate from the DCU. I would love to see Batman Beyond with Michael Keaton, Kingdom Come, Superman Red Sun, and Earth-Two.
He confirmed that Shazam, Blue Beetle, Aquaman, and Flash will be part of the DCU. The Flash will reset everything.
The DCU will begin with Superman, and it will be called Superman Legacy, and it shall explore Superman's legacy as the last son of Krypton and the protector of Earth. I hear it will be based on Superman All-Star, which is a good idea. Gunn will write the script, and he may direct it. I'm glad it's not an origin story, and I hope for Brainiac as the villain in the film. I also want the film to be a fun and inspiring movie to watch. I also want Gunn to set up Superman as the leader of the Justice League.

We're getting a DCU Batman film called Brave and the Bold, not to cause confusion with The Batman. I'm excited about this film because it will have the Bat Family, and it's about Batman and his son Damian Wayne. I'm so happy that Damian is going to be in the film, and it's about Batman trying to get to know his son and teach him not to kill because he was trained as an assassin. No doubt the League of Assassins will be involved in the film. I'm actually really excited about this movie. I would have made a tv series for the DCU Batman, but this is good too. I love the father and son storyline because it's based on Grant Morrison Batman and Son.

We're getting a complete reboot of Green Lantern. Called Lanterns. I'm very excited to watch it. I love how it will have a true detective vibe to it. I love the idea it will be a space buddy cop series. I especially love that the Green Lanterns they will focus on will be Hal Jordan and John Stewart. I think this show will be good and, it will make up for the 2011 film because this series needs to be set mainly in space, have more green lanterns, set up future ones like Guy, Kyle, and many more, and introduce other lantern corps like Yellow, Red, Blue, Violet, Orange, and Indigo.

Booster Gold could be a fun tv series to watch. It's about a loser from the future who wants to be loved, so he goes back in time to become a hero and be beloved by everyone. I like that idea. It could be a hilarious show. I'll give it a watch.

The Authority is interesting. I've never read the comics the only two characters I know are Midnighter and Apollo. I wouldn't be surprised if fans put a hashtag cast Matt Bomer and Luke Evans as Apollo and Midnighter. I'll give this film a watch.

We're getting a Supergirl film called Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. The film will be an origin film, but it's based on Tom King's Woman of Tomorrow book. She's living on a piece of krypton land after it was destroyed. It's about her surviving in the galaxy. It looks interesting. I'll give it a watch. I don't know if they will keep the actress playing Supergirl in Flash. They might recast, but the actress who played in her Flash could be in an Elseworld film.

It was announced that we are getting a Themyscira series that will be Paradise Lost. The series is basically Game of Thrones but with amazons. It looks like a neat idea. This series could likely be a reboot of Wonder Woman since 84 was awful. I would like to see the Amazons of Themyscira go up against the Amazons of Bana Mighdall. That would be a pretty cool series. Wonder Woman, I don't know if she will be it or not. It might just focus on her mother.

We got a Swamp Thing movie happening as well. Some people are excited about this film because it will be a straight-up horror film. Fans already want Guillermo Del Toro to make this film. I'm down for that idea too.

We are getting an Amanda Waller show, and I'm not that excited about it, but they got Peacemaker writers involved, and the Doom Patrol showrunner is making the show. Viola Davis will return in the Waller show, which means Peacemaker and Suicide are still canon in the DCU not surprising, to be honest.

And finally, we are getting Creature Commandos which will be animated series. It's about monsters fighting nazis which is cool, but it's set in modern times. I would have set it in WW2 instead of modern times. However, I'll give this show a watch. Gunn has written the episodes of the show.

(Google Image)
So overall, I am excited to see what Gunn is going to do, but I have to choose which series I'm most excited about: Superman Legacy, Brave and the Bold, and Lanterns. I think those three projects will set up Justice League. The other projects like Aurthity, Supergirl, and Waller, I believe, will be in the same universe. Still, the characters won't be members of the Justice League Gunn has even said this is only half of chapter one, and more films will be announced in the future. So all I can say is I'm looking forward to seeing these films and shows. I hope they are good, and I think Gunn does a good job of giving us a proper DC Cinematic Universe. As well, I'm so happy Reeves is still going to make his Batman films.

Scooby Apocalypse Fan Cast and Ideas

My Scooby Doo Apocalypse Fan Cast and Ideas.

So as we know, we've been given a horrible show called Velma...It is bad.

This is the worst show ever made and an insult to Scooby Doo.
Everyone hates this show to a passion. It's so bad, like my god, everyone hates it.
Fans pointed out this show is trying to be like Harley Quinn, but the only difference is Harley Quinn was written by talented writers.
So after this, I decided to make a Scooby Doo Fan Cast and Ideas based on the hit comics Scooby Apocalypse. This could be either an animated or a live-action. I would go with animated because this could be an excellent series for both mature fans of Scooby Doo, unlike Velma. The series is about how the gang meets in a different origin, and it's about them trying to cure a virus that has turned half world's population into monsters. We see the gang use guns and weapons to fight against these monsters. This would be interesting Scooby Doo Mature series to watch instead of Velma.

Here is my fan cast for Scooby Apocalypse animated series.

Frank Welker as Scooby Doo

Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers

Jane Levy as Daphne Blake

Jensen Ackles as Fred Jones

Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley

Ian Chen as Cliffy

Jason Marsden as Scrappy Doo

Bill Burr as Rufus Dinkley

Emily Bett Ricka as Daisy Dinkley

David Hayer as Hugo Dinkley

Sanaa Lathan as Cassie

Mark Hamill as The Nantie King

So that's my cast for Scooby Apocalypse, and here are my ideas for the show.

Here are my ideas for a Scooby Apocalypse show.

5. It's a better-written mature Scooby-Doo series.
The comic the series is based on is more for a mature audience, so I would make the show mature. The series has blood and gore, so we will see that and some mature content series too. This comic series got a lot of praise for its different take on Mystery Inc. The show should be a comedy, horror, sci-fi series. The comics are also a very dark story, so it would shock fans with shocking moments.
Not going to spoil it, but some heart-wrenching scenes will make you cry.

4. The monsters are real.
In Scooby Apocalypse, the monsters are real due to a virus created by Velma's brothers, the Four they are called. Half the world's population has turned into monsters and are fighting each other and killing anyone they see. The Gang has to fight back and save the world from this virus. This would be something we haven't seen before. Instead of them solving mysteries, it's about them fighting real monsters.

3. The series apparently redeems its most hated character Scrappy Doo.
Now we all hate Scrappy Doo. He was insufferable to deal with on the shows. He was even the villain in the live-action Scooby-Doo film, and in Mystery INC, Fred, and Daphne see a statue of him, and Fred tells her, "Look away, Daphne. We all promise each other that we would never speak of him, not ever."
It's understandable why so many fans hate Scrappy, but after Velma, some fans are now more forgiving of the character. Hell, I'm more tolerant of Scrappy Doo since Velma. In the comics, they redeem Scrappy. He's more likable, and you feel sad for him in the series, and he is disliked by the gang, but in the end, they accept him because he acknowledges his faults.

2. The series shows Scooby in action.
As you know, Scooby Doo he and Shaggy always run away and are scared to enter a scary castle, warehouse, or mansion. In this, you see Scooby and Shaggy in action. They actually fight the monsters along with Velma, Daphne, and Fred. It would be so funny and cool to see those characters in action plus, Scooby has high-tech equipment on him so he can fight. We saw all of Mystery INC do battle against the monsters.

1. The series would be ten times better than Velma because it's better written. The series is also about teamwork, friends, and, most of all, family.
This series is also about friends and family. Mystery INC comes together to save the world, and as they work together, they learn the importance of teamwork, friendship, and family. In the comics, Scooby adopts the boy Cliffy and becomes a father to him because that's the type of fantastic dog Scooby Doo is.
This a good scene from the comics.
I'm still baffled that WB hasn't considered adapting this comic series into either a tv series or a movie series. It's a more interesting, exciting take on Scooby Doo.

So that's my Scooby Apocalypse Fan Cast and Ideas.
I got to say this would be a better mature Scooby-Doo series, unlike Velma.
Many people would agree with me on this because this would be so much fun to watch on tv.
We would be at the edge of our seats, wondering if Scooby and the gang will survive this monster apocalypse or get killed.
Let me know what you think?

DCU Superman 2 aka World Finest Fan Cast and Ideas

Superman World Finest
Fan Cast and Ideas.

The sequel to the DCU Superman should have Batman as a co-lead. Unlike BVS, this film will be a full-time up with Superman and Batman. This is the world's finest team-up and focuses on Superman and Batman teaming up, and this film sets the stage for Justice League.
I would stick with Joseph as the director of this film.

Here is my fan cast for Superman World's Finest.

David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman

Scott Eastwood as Bruce Wayne/Batman

Danielle Campbell as Lois Lane

Adam Driver as Lex Luthor

Ty Simpkins as Jimmy Olsen

Greg Kinnear as Perry White

Brandon Michael Hall as Ron Troupe

Lili Reinhart as Cat Grant

Rupert Grint as Steve Lombard

Jon Hamm as General Sam Lane

Gaius Charles as John Henry Irons

Nick Offerman as Detective Dan Luplin

Kate McKinnon as Detective Margaret Stewart

Stephen Dillane as Alfred Pennyworth

Tanner Buchanan as Dick Grayson/Nightwing

Sadie Sink as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl

Jacob Tremblay as Tim Drake/Red Robin

Richard Dormer as Commissioner Jim Gordon

David Corenswet as Bizzaro

So that's my cast for a Superman 2 World's Finest, so here are my ideas for Superman 2 World's Finest.

9. John Henry will appear in the film and become Steel in a future movie.
John Henry Irons will be in the next film, but unlike the comics, John and Clark grew up in Smallville and were childhood friends. John is a steel worker but is a builder of weapons too. This John Henry will make you forget about Shaq's Steel film. John will eventually get inspired by Superman to help people, and we see him get the idea of building a suit of armor.

8. Lois learns Clark is Superman.
In the film, Lois learns Clark is Superman, and she will be understanding about this reveal.
Clark and Lois are in a romance, and Lois admits she somehow knew Clark was Superman. This would set up Clark to propose to Lois at the film's end. Her father, Sam Lane, will join forces with Lex Luthor to take down Superman, which is his biggest mistake because he helps Lex create Bizzaro, something he will regret in the film.

7. The film needs to learn from BVS.
This film, unlike BVS, needs to be a proper Superman and Batman team-up film. Look at Superman, Batman World's Finest animated film, for ideas. The two team up in the film to face off against Lex Luthor. In the movie, Bruce goes to Metropolis to learn why Superman has been causing destruction and mayhem, but he eventually knows it's not Superman but something else. Superman and Batman join forces to find out who's responsible, and they learn Lex Luthor is responsible. There is also no Doomsday or Wonder Woman. This film is about Superman meeting Batman and the two setting up the Justice League. Also, no death of Superman. He lives at the end of the film. This film is a proper team-up movie between Superman and Batman, not a vs. movie.

6. The film is about Batman and Superman teaming up. Not fighting each other.
This movie will only have one fight scene between Superman and Batman, but that's it. This film is a team-up between these iconic characters. They have differences, but they both believe in helping people and forming a brotherly bond. Superman and Batman become brothers in the film because they both have lost people close to them, but they don't give up. In the movie, I would have Batman talk about Jason Todd to Superman and how he failed to save him, it's haunted him. Superman relates because he failed to save his parents, which has haunted him for a while, but he doesn't give up because his father told him not to give up and that we can't save everyone, but we shouldn't give up on ourselves. The two of them respect each other for this.

5. The difference between these two characters and their moral ideas.
I think the film should address that Superman and Batman have different views on criminal justice and life. Superman believes that people are born good and are taught to be evil. While Batman believes in the opposite, that people are born evil, they must be taught to be good. That topic would also be addressed, like Daredevil and Punisher talk about the criminal justice system. As well Clark and Bruce had very different childhoods. Clark had a good childhood, unlike Bruce, who lost his parents when he was eight. These two have very different ideas about life morals but still, see eye to eye on certain things.

4. Lex Luthor would be the villain, and he would wear his armor suit.
Lex Luthor would be the main villain in the film, and I would have included an end-credit scene in the first film, which set up to be the villain in the next movie. Lex decides that Superman is a threat to society, and he builds a suit to fight Superman and learns about Kryptonite. The only thing that can kill Superman.
However, he also creates Bizzaro, a Superman clone that goes crazy and causes mayhem because he wants the public to side with him over Superman because he believes superman is alien and a threat to society.  Lex sees himself as the hero of the world and the bravest man on earth to fight against Superman. Lex and Bruce have a partnership, but Bruce disagrees with Lex's ideas of peace and his viewpoints on Superman. Lex needs to be this villain who sees himself as the story's hero, but he's not.

3. Batman and Superman would face off against Bizzaro.
Bizzaro would be in the film as a secondary villain, for he is a Superman clone causing mayhem, thinking he's helping people. Until he goes crazy and transforms into what he is in the comics. He would fight Superman and Batman as well. He kidnaps Lois Lane to get Superman and Batman to fight him. However, Bizzaro is not evil. At the movie's end, he has the mind of a child who doesn't know the difference between right and wrong. Superman decides to help Bizzaro. He takes him to a planet that he can "protect" and gives him his own Krypto to protect. I got the idea from the Superman animated series. It also shows Superman wants to help his villains in some way.

2. The film still focuses on Superman, but Batman is a co-lead.
This film is about Superman. He is not sidelined in favor of Batman. The film is about Superman trying to gain more of the people's trust since Brainiac's attack on earth, and he's struggling to tell Lois that he is Superman. Superman has to deal with Lex Luthor and Sam Lane, who both believe he is a threat to earth. Superman then meets Batman, and the two of them have issues, but they become allies. Batman goes to Metropolis on a business trip to meet with Lex Corp. We also see him say bye to Dick, Barbara, and Alfred in the film. He leaves Gotham in Nightwing and Batgirl's care as well. He's adopted a new kid named Tim Drake, who will become Red Robin. Tim's parents put him in foster care to protect him while they go under witness protection in California because they are targets of the mob. Those characters only appear in the beginning because the film focus on Metropolis and Superman with Batman as his co-lead.

1. This film sets up the Justice League.
This film sets up Justice League because at the end of the film, Superman and Batman shake hands after teaming up. Superman tells Batman there are others like them and that maybe they should form a team. Batman isn't sure about that, but he also knows about Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and many more. The film ends with Batman returning to Gotham and meeting with Gordon. Gordon and the GCPD are acting weird, revealing they are under the control of Brainiac. Superman gets a distress call from J'onn before he goes to save him. He learns that Batman is in trouble and goes to help him, for Clark knows he will need all the help he gets to battle against Brainiac's return. This film sets up Justice League for J'onn and sends word to all earth heroes about Brainiac after being captured.

That's my Superman 2 World's Finest Fan Cast and Ideas.
