My Batman DCU Fan Cast and Ideas.
Since it was announced, The Batman film series will remain separate from the DCU.
We will see a different Batman in the DCU, and Gunn assured fans that this Batman is an essential character in the DCU.
Now, if I had to choose a director for this film, I would go with either of these two.
Ben Affleck and Robert Eggers.
I know Ben played Batman, but I've heard Gunn wants him to make a DCU film. So he could still make his Batman film or make something else. However, it would be cool to see his Batman vs. Deathstroke film.
Zach Cregger wants to make a Batman film, and his new movie Barbarian is getting great write-ups.
However, maybe instead of a film, we get a TV Series, not to cause confusion with Robert's Batman films.
Something like that would be a more exciting idea for a live-action Batman tv series.
I think a TV Series would be the right way to introduce the Batman of the DCU.
Scott Eastwood as Bruce Wayne/Batman
Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn
Dave Bautista as Bane
Jamie Campbell Bower as Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow
Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje as Killer Kroc
Here are my ideas for the DCU Batman
6. The DCU Batman can be either a film or a tv series.
Now since we have Matt Reeves Batman films but the DCU Batman, we don't know if they will make a film series or if they might just pull a Daredevil and decide let's make Batman tv series instead. Batman can work in television form. A DCU Batman TV series would be an interesting idea because we got Robert's films already moving forward, so why not make a tv series instead. Like the DCU, Batman can work either as a separate film or television series. If they decide to make a DCU Batman TV Series, I would say look at the animated series for inspiration. 5. The DCU Batman should adapt the Arkham Asylum Game.
There were rumors that the next Batman film series would be based on the Arkham games. Ben Affleck's Batman movie idea would also use the Arkham games for inspiration, with Deathstroke as the villain. That idea would have been fantastic. That idea could still be used for the DCU Batman's introduction, and I think TV series would work for that storyline. You can also tell by the villains I cast they were in the first Arkham game, but there's no Riddler because Riddler was done in The Batman, same with Penguin. 3. What makes the DCU Batman different from Robert's Batman?
So now this Batman will be different from Robert's Batman, and what I can see them doing is. The DCU Batman has been Batman for a while, he's older, and he's already established the Bat-family. Unlike Robert's Batman, this Batman is ready to fight aliens, gods, and the supernatural. He's also got his rogues all established, and he's more Justice League material. 2. The DCU's Batman has the Bat Family, but only Alfred, Nightwing, and Batgirl so far.
As I mentioned, this Batman only has Alfred, Nightwing, and Batgirl so far, but in future projects, we should be introduced to other members of the Bat-family. They could even include that Jason Todd was Robin, but he was murdered by the Joker. Batman could still be mourning Jason's death, but also we could set up Tim Drake coming in and becoming Red Robin. As well as setting up the Red Hood arc and eventually Damian Wayne. Also, Catwoman should be saved for future projects and Bruce's love interest. Just expand on the Bat-family in this universe, but also Robert's Batman can also have his own Bat-family. If they adapt the Court of Owls storyline, I am down to see Robin in the next film. 1. Set this Batman up to join the Justice League by adapting World's Finest.
This Batman will be part of the Justice League, and I will be down if they make him the team leader. So I think what they should do is the second Superman in James Gunn's film should have Batman. Now, this has to be different from BVS. This is the World's Finest team-up film that is still a Superman film, but it has Batman as a co-lead. The film should learn from BVS's mistakes. Make this film a team-up movie, they both face off against Lex Luthor, and the film sets up Justice League.
