DCU Flash Fan Cast and Ideas
So with the Flash movie coming out this year and that film will be a restart of DC, I have to be honest; I'm not excited about it.
I hate the actor playing Flash, and if you know or don't know about the Erza Miller drama, they should fire that creep.
They need to fire this guy after all the shady stuff they've done.
I've heard rumors that WB is considering keeping Erza, but maybe not. It might just be a rumor.
No one wants this guy as the Flash anymore, and I don't care if they have early screenings of the Flash, and people have said it's on the same level as The Dark Knight. I'm not watching this film, even if Keaton is back as Batman. I have nothing against the director or the rest of the film's cast. I can't watch this film with this creep as a beloved superhero. I rather have Grant Gustin take over as the Flash of DCU over Erza any day.
WB and James Gunn need to recast Flash with a better actor and someone who isn't going around harassing people. Seriously they fired Henry, but they can't fire this guy.
Now for the director of this film, I think I would stick with Andy Muschietti.
Andy is a great director, and I have so much respect for the guy.
I don't know if WB will keep him or if he will stay on, but we shall see.
However, if he leaves after the film because it will be a fresh start, so if he does leave, I would choose Jon Watts.
So here's my fan cast for the DCU Flash film.
Lil Rel Howery as James Forrest
Gael Garcia Bernal as David Signal
Annalise Bassom as Kristen Krammer
Lucas Till as Barry Allen/The Flash
Emma Roberts as Iris West
Bob Ordenkirk as Darryl Frye
Gael Garcia Bernal as David Signal
Addison Timlin as Patty
Ismael Cruz Cordova as Detective Morrow
Toks Olagundoye as Rebecca Janus
Michael Rosenbaum as Rudy West
Ashley Liao as Linda Park
Aaron Paul as Captain Cold
Claire Foy as Golden Glider
Jamie Bell as Mirror Master
Wilmer Valderrama as Weather Wizard
Ben Foster as Heatwave
So that's my fan cast for the Flash DCU, and here are my ideas.
9. Jay Garrick would be in the film, and Barry continues Jay's legacy as the Flash.
Jay appears in the film but meets Barry at the end, telling him he is honoured to pass the mantle of the Flash down to Barry Allen. Barry is glad that Jay accepts him as a successor to the Flash mantle. Jay would serve as another father figure to Barry.8. This film could be a complete reboot of the Flash.
Since we are getting a complete reboot and a proper ten-year plan. It's likely after the Flash movie comes out, WB will make the next film part of the DCU plan, or the Flash film is what started the DCU plan. I rather the movie be a complete reboot, and maybe they make the Flash film an elseworld film or something. Still, WB needs to recast the Flash. If they keep the other actors they have cast already, that's fine.
7. The film should be an action comedy film.
The Flash is the most light-hearted character in the DC comics, so the first film should be a fun, action SCI-FI film. It's got to be a comedy superhero film.
6. The film should build on the romance between Barry and Iris.
Iris is Barry's true love, and in the film, they should focus on their love life and eventually have the two get married. I can also see Iris learning Barry is the Flash at the end of the film, but she's all right with it because she thinks he's a hero for what he's doing. However, I don't think she would be right with her nephew as Kid Flash, which would cause issues, but in the end, she's all right but still concerned for Wally but trusts Barry to protect him. In the future, she also reunites with her brother Daniel, and she wants to help him, but he becomes Negative Flash, and she wants to help her other nephew Rudolph West.
The first film should have the Rogues as the villains, and the rooster would be Captain Cold, the team leader, and the film's main antagonist. The other Rogues are Golden Glider, Mirror Master, Weather Wizard, and Heatwave. The Flash has faced each member of the Rogues before, and Captain Cold decides to put together a team to take down the Flash.
Captain Cold works as the first villain the Flash will face off against, along with the Rogues.
The Rogues, in truth, aren't evil to the core. They actually have a moral code on the team they don't harm women or children, they don't do drugs except for smoking weed, and they don't want to kill the Flash. They just want to break him, cripple him and ruin his life. The Rogues would be good villains for the Flash to face off against.
3. The film needs to have Wally West.
This film needs to have Wally West, and he could get his powers from the Speed Force in the first film, Wally wants to help Flash, but Barry doesn't want to risk him getting hurt. Wally is the funny kid we all know and love from the Young Justice and Justice League animated series. Wally would be the film's heart, and Wally would become Kid Flash with Barry Allen as his mentor. Wally would participate in battling against The Rogues and play future roles in the DCU. I can see him being a founder of the Titans in the future.
1. The film sets up the Flash as a member of the Justice League and sets the character up to face off against The Reverse Flash. As well as explore the Speed Force.
Now, this film will be part of the DCU plan, and I can see them setting up Flash as a member of the Justice League. The film should still build up Flash's universe, but the film does mention other heroes, and we could have an end-credit scene where Flash is on the road waiting for someone, and out of the blue, we see Superman. That could be a good setup for the DCU Justice League, and also Barry could mention one of his best friends is named Hal Joran. As well, Barry in the film is still trying to clear his father's name, and he learns throughout the movie that Reverse Flash was the one who killed his mother, framed his father, and he's responsible for Daniel West becoming Negative Flash. The film needs to explore the Speed Force, and we learn more about it in every movie.
