Weapons Review
So I saw Weapons yesterday, and here's my review...I loved it. This was a great horror film. It's not as scary as people say, but it is an intense movie. There are moments in the film that made me jump and scenes that disturbed me. Now the film is about this classroom of missing kids and the whole town trying to find them, and they think the teacher, Justine, played by Julie Garner, is a suspect, but she also wants to know what happened to those kids because she is their teacher. It's funny seeing Thanos and Silver Surfer teaming up.
You also have a single father named Archer who wants to find his son, who is one of the missing kids. He learns where the kids might be and joins Justine to find those missing kids. The cast did a great job, and heads-up: the death scenes are pretty brutal in this film. Also, there were some funny moments, especially with the cop character Paul and the homeless guy James.
Now, in the film, we meet Aunt Gladys, who is creepy —like someone you wouldn't want in your house —and the actress who played her did a great job. I would say Gladys is the wicked witch of this era because she is frightening and creepy as hell. She will give you nightmares because she was one creepy witch. If you ever see someone like her coming to your door. Lock the door and don't let her in.
Overall, I really enjoyed this film and highly recommend it.
I give it an 8 out of 10.
Happy Halloween to
all my viewers!!!
