My review of The Night Before

The Night Before is a comedy Christmas film about these three best friends who always spend Christmas together after their friend Ethan loses his parents in a car accident. However, Ethan's friends have grown apart since Isaac is going to become a father, and Chris has become a famous football player. So they decide to spend one last Christmas night as Ethan gets tickets for the Nutcracker party. This film was so funny and heartwarming, and it deals with family, changes coming to your life, and moving on from the past. One of the best characters is Michael Shannon's character, Mr. Green, who is both funny and cool. This film also has each character experience the past, the present, and the future, and as they see, they have to be there for each other no matter what. 

The film has a funny cast of great actors like Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anthony Mackie, Lizzy Caplan, Ilana Glazer, Michael Shannon, Jillian Bell, Miley Cyrus, Mindy Kaling, and James Franco. 

One of the funniest scenes in the movie is when Isaac is on drugs and he goes to his wife's church for Midnight Mass; he sees Jesus and freaks out because he can't believe that's what they think the Jewish people did to him. I was laughing so hard after he puked and screamed. 

I was laughing so hard at that scene. 

Also, the Nutcracker party looks like a fun place to go. The film's ending is great; it gets you in the Christmas spirit and makes you appreciate your friends and family. 

This film is a funny and it's a great christmas film to get into the holiday spirit. I highly recommend it, and I give it an 8 out of 10. Go watch it for Christmas, you will laugh so hard.
