My Review of
The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus
The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus is an old 2000 animated film about Santa Claus's life. This story is based on L. Frank Baum is the writer of the Wizard of Oz series. This version of Santa Claus is raised by fairies, pixies, and gnomes. They are ruled by a deity named Ack, and the story's villains are the Awgwas, some scary monsters who love seeing kids get tormented. Santa Claus is raised by a wood nymph named Necile, who becomes his adoptive mother, and Santa is best friends with a pixie named Wisk, who properly, to me, is the best character in the whole film.
The animation for this film is good, and the voice cast is fantastic. For example, you have Robby Benson and Jim Cummings as the voices of young Santa and old Santa. As well, you got Carlos Alazraqui, you know, the voice of Crocker from Fairy Godparents, the late Dixie Carter, and the Late Hal Holbrook. This film is a good Christmas film that gets forgotten a lot. I still watch it every Christmas. It is one of my fondest Christmas memories. The animation was great, the songs were good, and the voice acting was spot-on. This is a great Christmas film from childhood, and I recommend giving it a watch. I give this film an 8 out of 10.
