Venom Review

My Venom Review

So I saw Venom last night and here's my review of it....it was bad, well not that type of bad more like it was okay. The film has a lot of problems, plot holes, and most of the characters are boring except for Eddie Brock. This film has a 2000s superhero film feel to it like Daredevil, Catwoman, Hulk, and Punisher. There was a lot of stuff that didn't make sense at all to me and I don't hate this movie I just have a lot of problems with and I don't like how the story was told.

These two were the only good thing about the film.

Now the only thing good about this movie was Tom Hardy. Tom was amazing as Eddie Brock and I  love the scenes with him and Venom. There were moments that made me laugh and some of the action scenes were good but everything else was just bad to me and left me confused. Still, I will say this Venom makes up for Spiderman 3's Venom. None the less the film had a lot of problems and plot holes and it just bugged me. Especially, one scene that was kind of disrupting to watch. Still, Eddie Brock and Venom were the only great thing about this film. I still would prefer a Spiderman film that would set up Venom and I stand by it Sony should have done that first with Marvel Studios.
I give film 5 out of 10 and D+. It could have been better but hey its better than Justice League. If they do a sequel I hope they make it rated R because let's face it Sony messed up when they made PG 13 instead of rated R.

Now I'm going to give some advice to Sony for future. Like look the film still a lot of negative write-ups and so here's what I think Sony should do

1. Get rid of Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach.
One thing Sony should do is get rid of these two. They don't know what they're doing and they nearly ruined Spiderman and they were also guys who didn't want Spiderman in the MCU. My advice Sony get rid of them and get better producers like getting Phil Lord and Chris Miller the guys who are making the Spider-Verse film because their more talented and know what they're doing.
Love what these guys are doing with the animated
film.

2. Let Marvel Studios handle your live action films.
Sony you made a deal for a reason.
I'm a big MCU fan and I personally think that Sony should let Marvel handle all of their live action films. I mean, Sony made a deal with Marvel for reason after the failure of Amazing Spiderman 2 and the Sony Hack. Many of us fans want to see Spiderman fight Venom if you've seen my Spiderman VS Venom movie idea you know what I mean. This is just what I think Sony should do is let Marvel Studios handle the characters they own and let them be in the MCU. After all, that's what all fans want and we all want to TH VS TH happen.

3. Sony should focus on building a animated cinematic universe instead.
I'm very excited about the upcoming animated Spiderman film Spiderman Into The Spider-Verse. I believe Sony should only focus on making animated films about Spiderman. I've seen the trailers to this film and I'm very excited about this film. I believe Sony should expand on this, build cinematic universe around it and do spin-off movies like an animated Spiderman Noir, Spider-Ham, Spider Gwen, Spider Punk, and Spiderman 2099. This would be total game changer an animated cinematic universe, I mean the Lego movies are doing it and I think Sony should defiantly do it as well. So yeah Marvel Studios should handle Venom and all 900 characters that Sony owns and Sony should build an animated cinematic universe.

That's just my ideas and my review for Venom. If you want to have fun time go watch it and even though the film has a lot of problems it's still better than Justice League.
