Mario Bros Movie 2 Fan Cast and Ideas

So after the Mario Bros movie, I thought I might do a fan cast and ideas for the second film, which will likely be in the works now that the strikes are over. So here is my fan cast and thoughts on what the next movie will be about. 

First, here is my fan cast, and later, I'll talk about my ideas. 

Chris Pratt as Mario 

Charlie Day as Luigi

Anna Taylor Joy as Princess Peach

Keegan Michael Key as Toad

Jack Black as Bowser 

Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek 

Larry David as Toadsworth 

I mean Larry David is so funny and I can see him voicing this character.

Bradley Noon as Yoshi 

Yoshi I would cast a kid actor for the role and the character is basically is Mario and Luigi's pet dinosaur but he's still young and needs to learn to behave.  

Michael Cera as Bowser Jr.

Michael Cera just seems like the right choice to voice Bowser Jr. 

Danny McBride as Wario 

For Wario my only choices were Danny McBride and Danny Devito. In the end I chose Danny McBride because he's good at playing jerks in movies. 

Hank Azaria as Waluigi 

For Waluigi I looked Bill Harder, Nick Kroll and Hank Azaria but in the end I chose Hank. 

Emma Stone as Daisy

Emma Stone just came to mind as the voice of Daisy. 

Koopalings 

Bill Hader as Ludwig

 

Perdo Pascal as Roy 

Dakota Fanning as Wendy 

Dave Bautista as Morton 

Justin Timberlake as Lenny 

Seth Green as Iggy 

Kevin Hart as Larry  

So that's my cast and here are my ideas for a Mario Bros 2. 

6. Daisy I can see appearing in the film and what makes her different from Peach. 

If Daisy is in the next film, she needs to be different from Peach, like she's more tomboyish or more adventurous than Peach, like she is more interested in adventure than ruling. She would be an exciting romantic for Luigi because it's like Opposites. Attract romance because Daisy is more daring, unlike Lugii, and maybe Daisy doesn't like Peach because of personal reasons. It would be interesting to include that she's not a big fan of Peach, and they are not friends until the film's end. They could pull a twist where both princesses learn they are long-lost sisters. 

5. Wario and Waluigi need to be in this film. 

Wario and Waluigi must be in the film because they would be great additions. In the movie, they are jealous of Mario and Luigi because they could be rivals as kids. Wario and Waluigi get powers from Kamek, and they free Bowser. Wario and Waluigi need to be in this film, and hopefully, it will lead to a spin-off film about these two. Wario and Waluigi are the opposite of Mario and Luigi they want money and power unlike Mario and Luigi because they only want to help people while they do the opposite because they want care about themselves.  

4. Luigi gets more screen time. 

Luigi needs to get more screen time and help Mario this time instead of just the film's ending. Luigi should also be trying to prove himself as his own man. I want the next film to have more Luigi's screen time and he's helping Mario in the film instead of at the end. I also want to see a Luigi's Mansion movie in the future.

3. The film introduces Bowser's kids especially Bowser Jr.

Bowser's kids likely will be in the film, or it may just be Bowser Jr. and the Kooplings, his friends. Adding them in the next movie would work, but if there are too many characters, I would go with Wario and Waluigi, and maybe in the third film, they do Bowser Jr. and Kooplings. 

2. Mario and Peach Romance Develops

Let Mario and Peach's romance develop because we all want them to get together, and I like to see Luigi eventually hook up with Daisy. Maybe they will have Mario go save Peach this time, but I don't know if they will do that or not. Still it would be good develop their romance in a future film. As well the next film could explore Peach's origins. 

1. Yoshi playing a big role in the next film. 

Yoshi was teased in the end credit scene, and I can see Mario and Luigi adopting him and trying to be good owners. Yoshi will likely play a significant role in the next film as he will help Mario on his next adventure. Will they include the whole he leaves Yoshi behind when he jumps? Yoshi can jump higher and use his tongue to help him not fall from an edge. As well a Yoshi movie would be a cool idea too because who doesn't love Yoshi.

Argylle Review

 

My review of Argylle

So I saw Argylle last night, and here's my review of it...I had a fun time with this movie. I mean the action was good, the characters were good, and it had some plot twist moments that were surprising but also felt kind of weird. The story is about an author named Elly Conway of a successful spy book series called Argylle but it turns out she's now being hunted by the Division and she gets help from a spy named Aidan. The movie is fun, and despite the bad reviews, I think this film was fun to watch. Yes, some of the writing in the film, was confusing, but overall this film was fun to watch and I liked it. It's just a good old spy, action comedy film. I give it a 6 out of 10.

My Thoughts on The MCU Fantastic 4 Cast

So we have our first look at the Fantastic 4 cast in the upcoming MCU reboot, and we can confirm those rumors are true. Pedro Pascal is Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Williams is Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn is The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss Bachrach is The Thing. As well, this film is likely set in the 60s, and HERBIE is going to be in the movie. 

Here are my thoughts on the cast.

Pedro is a good choice for Mr. Fantastic. After all, he is Mando now. Personally, I would prefer John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic. I mean, he looked the part, and he was a fan favorite.

It is sad how they didn't use him after. He looked the part, and when I saw him, I hoped they would say he was playing Reed in the Fantastic Four, but no, sadly. I'm not the only one some of my friends wanted him to stay as Reed Richards in the Fantastic 4 film.

Now I think Pedro will do a good job as Reed even though he is 48 and Vanessa Williams is in her mid-30s. Still, I hope they do Reed Richards right in this film because, after the leaks, it is very concerning. I don't want Mr. Fantastic to be betrayed in a negative light, and I don't want them to downgrade him. Like they did that with Thor, Ant-Man, and Moon Knight. Reed Richards is the smartest man alive. Let's see him be the smartest man alive, a great leader, and he's a family man whose always there for them. I hope Marvel doesn't downgrade him or any of the characters in general. They should be written the way Stan Lee and Jack Kirby wrote them. 

I think Perdo will do a good job as Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic. In fact, Marvel wants to make him the RDJ of Phase 6, which could work because he saved Star Wars.

Vanessa Kirby looks the part of Sue Storm, and that is solid casting. I hope they do the character right, too. I've discussed how they didn't do Sue Storm right in old films. Now it was revealed in some leaks that Sue will be the film's lead character, not as a team leader but as the film's point of view. I don't know if that's going to happen because there were some rewrites and if the idea was each film would have the point of view of each member of the Fantastic 4 like the first film is from Sue's, second Johnny's, third Ben's and finally, Reed's that could work but, I think the film needs to focus on all four characters because they are not just a team, they are a family. The movie should be about a family of superheroes working together and working on each other. As well they need to make Sue the voice of reason on the team and she's the most powerful member of the team. I just hope she's not like She Hulk or Cassie Lang from Ant-Man 3.

However, after reading a new report about the film, it read it will be more family-focused, which is a good move. These films need to focus on the team but they can always do solo films in the future. 

Still, I like Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, but I just hope they get the character right. The most important thing is getting the characters right; the story must be good. I don't know if they will include Franklin and Valeria in the film or a future film but I think they will expand on the family.  

Now, I loved Joseph Quinn in Stranger Things, and personally, he would have been better as Ghost Rider. I'm just glad he will dye his hair blonde in the film. I must be honest: I wanted his co-star Darce Montgomery to play Johnny Storm. He looked more the part.

I hope we will see his character and Spider-Man interact with each other in a future project. I also heard Frankie Raye, aka Nova, a heard of Galatacus, will be in the film and is Johnny's love interest. I agree with that idea but don't make her a gender-swap Silver Surfer. I've heard rumors of them doing that, but they say this film is in another universe. It's likely in the MCU timeline instead of a different universe because Dr. Strange mentioned the Fantastic 4 from his universe and they were from the 60s. I think they should save Galatacus for another film for this film to go with a small villain like Mole Man. 

I think Joseph has that bad boy look to him, especially in Stranger Things. I hope they do Johnny right because he's the youngest, immature member of the team, but we all love him because he's cool and he does care about his family. I also hope we get Johnny and Ben fighting all the time because they are so funny together. Ben's like the older brother he never had. 

Now, personally, I think Ebon here is the best casting choice because I love The Bear, and he can pull off a great, tough guy. Ebon is the best cast member of this film, and I think he will do a great job playing the thing. I hope they take influence from this man, this monster storyline. Ben Grimm hates his powers because he can't be human like the other three and wants to be cured. Until he meets Alicia, a blind woman who loves him for who he is. They married in the comics. I want to see that storyline in the film but do The Thing, and we all know he will be CGI.

So, out of all the casting choices, I think Ebon is the best. 

Also to be honest don't like the title card change.

So that's what I think of the casting of this film, and to be honest, I don't have high hopes for this film after recent MCU films, but I could be wrong. This film will be going up against Superman Legacy, and to be honest, I'm more excited for Superman: Legacy more than The Fantastic 4. We shall see what next July does. So that's my thoughts on the Fantastic 4 casting, and I will be honest: the 1960s setting does work.
