Wheel of Time Casting

The Wheel of Time one of the best Fantasy book series out there written by the late Robert Jordan and then taken over by Brandon Sanderson. So as we know or may not there a Wheel of Time TV Series in the works. There is no word on when the show is coming nor have began casting. The show has a show runner named Rafe Judkins he was on Survivor, he wrote some episodes on CHUCK, Agents of Shield, and Hemlock Grove.
This guy is a survivor.
Sony Picture Television will produce the show, still no word on what network will it air there are so many to choose from I would love Netflix or AMC to do it, but I don't think they will. I could see Amazon Prime making this this because their searching for the next Game of Thrones and the Wheel of Time could be it. Also Red Eagle Entertainment and Radar Pictures will produce as well, you know the Red Eagle the guys who made this.

Now besides all of that I'm to show my casting choice for the characters in the show such as Rand, Mat, Perrin, Egwene, Moriane, Lan, and everyone I can think of.  Now It was hard to pick one so I looked two, three, or four actors for each of the characters. It was hard to choose which one would be good for a particular character. I'm going to pick the actor or actress I would go with for the upcoming tv show.

First the Dragon himself Rand Al'thor!
Rand is is my second favourite character, my favourite would have to be Perrin because I relate to that guy and not to mention I love wolves.

Now for the casting for Rand I actually looked for ginger actors, yeah it was kind of hard but I found three who I think can pull Rand off.
Here my three choices for Rand Al'thor The Dragon Reborn

        George Mackay

       Calum Worthy

       Cameron Monaghan

All three of them are gingers yes, I am going that route and Rand should be played by ginger. Now I haven't seen much of Calum Worthy acting I know he's a canadian like me, he was in a couple of tv shows like Austin and Ally, Stormworld, The Thinning, and Just Kidding. Calum he does look like Rand in the books but I haven't seen him acting before so I can't tell if he's right the choice. If he were suggested for the role he might surprise us or disappoint us. Now I know Cameron Monghan from Shamless he plays the gay brother who's also a paramedic and he's in Gotham he plays the Joker and he does a good job playing the Joker. He would be an interesting choice and I could see him playing Rand, but he's not my first choice and depending how long Shameless and Gotham last for I don't think he will be able to do it. George Mackay I know from one of my favourite movies last year Captain Fantastic he was also in Pride, How I live Now, Sunrise of Leith, and Bypass. I think he could do a good job playing Rand he's got the right look and I've seen him act and he's really good actor. If I had to go with one and I'm going to say they all they could do a good job playing Rand, but I'm going with the one I think could do it and that would be.... George Mackay. I think he could totally pull it off and I've seen him act and he's a really actor. George Mackay my first choice for Rand Al'thor the Dragon Reborn.

Now for the comedy relief and best dice player Mat Cauthon
Mat is funny, charming, and he's good with dice.

Now for the casting of Mat I look at many actors there two who were on the same show together and one that wasn't.
Here my three actors for Mat Cauthon.
Tyler Posey
Dylan O'Brien
Jamie Blackly

Now for Mat I'm more familiar with Dylan O'Brien and Tyler Posey they both were on Teen Wolf I didn't watch Teen Wolf, but I've seen these guys act. I know Dylan O'Brien from Maze Runner films and Tyler from Teen Wolf. Jamie Blackley I've seen in If I Stay, Uwantme2killhim?, and Snow White and The Huntsman. They all look like they could do a good job playing Mat and they look like Mat, but I have to choose I would go with Jamie Blackley. Its because I think this guy would be a better choice for Mat and I can see him more as Mat than the other two. I think he could totally pull off that charming, funny, cunning guy, and that is why Jamie is my first choice for Mat.

Now for my favourite character Perrin Aybara
Good at smithing, good with wolves, and awkward with women lol.

Now for casting Perrin I looked at some tough actors who could also grow a killer beard. Here are the three actors who could play Perrin Aybara.
Jack Reynor
                                                                      Aaron Johnson
                                                                      Matthew Lewis

Now I was very familiar with Jack Reynor from the hit movie Sing Street. I'm just going say Jack is my fist choice for Perrin he could totally nail it. Hell, he's voicing a Grey Brother in Andy Serkis's Jungle Book film not relate to the Disney one. Aaron Johnson is also a good choice for Perrin I've seen him in Kick Ass and Age of Ultron. I would say Aaron is my second choice for Perrin he does look like Perrin to me and could pull it off. Matthew Lewis who I know has Neville Longbottom from the Harry Potter films is surprising choice. I mean look him he's jacked up but I don't think he would do another fantasy relate project, since he's a now soldier in Bluestone 42. If I had to go with someone it is Jack Reynor.

Egwene Al'vere
Now for Egwene I looked up two well known and one unknown. Here my three choices for the role of Egwene.

 Kelly Thornton
Miranda Cosgrove
Isabelle Fuhrman

Now for Egwene I feel like an unknown would be good choice for her like I actually think Kelly Thornton would be a good choice. Now for those who don't know her she was in Sing Street she was the sister who was studying a lot. Miranda Cosgrove I've seen her in mostly comedies like Despicable  Me, School of Rock,  and Drake and Josh. I think it would be interesting to see her do a serious tv series because comedians often surprise people by playing serious characters. Isabelle Fuhrman who we know from the Orphan and the Hunger Games third choice in mind. She could be interesting choice for Egwene. If I had to pick I would go with Kelly Thornton go with unknown for this role.

Nynaeve Al Meara
The one woman you do not want to piss off.

Keisha Castle Hughes
Nathalie Emmanuel
Adelaide Kane

For Nynaeve I went with actresses who have played have strong women like Nynaeve and also heads up I'm going to get all diversity because well when the show does happen they will push for it. Yes I have two Game of Thrones actresses but hey their very talented. I think Adelaide Kane would be a good choice due to her performance as Mary Queen of Scots in the show Reign. My second choice would be Nathalie Emmaunel I love her on Game of Thrones, Furious 7, and Misfits. I don't know if she would do another fantasy series after game of thrones,  but if the studio takes interest in her she might say yes or no. Keisha Castle Hughes is someone I could seeing play Nynaeve even though hated her on Game of thrones, she is still good actress and she could pull off Nynaeve. In all I would go with Adelaide Kane.

Lan Mandragonam
The Warder King.

Luke Roberts
Clive Standen
Tom Welling

For Lan I searched for actors in their late thirties to early forties kind of like what Peter Jackson did with Aargon in Lord of the Rings. I know Luke Roberts from Game of Thrones, Tom Welling from Smallvile, and Clive Standen from Vikings. I personalty would go with Luke Roberts simply because he's very skilled swordsman in real life and even though he was only in one episode of Game of Thrones I would go with him for Lan.

Moiraine Damodred
The female Gandalf.

Kate McGrath
Liv Tyler

Olivia Wilde
Jamie Alexander

For Moiraine I took me a while to find actresses that could play Moiraine. Looking at these four I would say Jamie Alexander from Thor would be an good choice for Moiranie and Kate McGrath from Merlin, Jurasstic World, and King Arthur would also be a good choice for Moiraine too. My other choices are Liv Tyler from Lord of the Rings and Olivia Wilde from The OC. I would go with Liv Tyler.

Thom Merlin
Sorry guys no Sam Elliot

Graham Mctavish
Peter Capaldi
Hugh Laurie
Keith David

I know everyone wants Sam Elliot I get it he would be a good Thom but I don't think its going happen but I could be wrong. I also know what are you're thinking Keith David? I know I'm being diversite here, but Keith David is an awesome actor and he could be a good Thom. These four actors would all do good job playing Them Merrlin but I can only with one it would Peter Capalid from DR Who. Also Hugh Laurie from House and Graham Mctavish from The Hobbit and Outlander would also be fine choices as well, but I can only go with one.

Loial
The book reading Orge.

Jorge Garcia
Nonso Anozie
Eddie Marsan

For Loial I just went looking for actors who actors who have done comedy and can play tough guys. Loial will mostly be CGI in the show so you need to get a voice I would go with Nonso simply because of his deep voice but, I would also think Eddie Marsan is a good choice becuase he's awesome in Ray Donovan and Jorge because someone suggest him to me.

Min
The Tomboy and is also my favourite female character.

Paloma Kwiatkowski
Caitlyn Taylor Love
Hailee Steinfeld
Odeya Rush

For Min I would have to go with Paloma Kwiatkowski she looks like she could pull it off. Haliee Steinfeld is a second choice due to her performance in True Grit. Caitlyn Taylor Love was just an random choice. Odeya Rush from her performance in Goosebumps would also be a fine choice to for Min.

                                                                     Elayne Trakand

Eleanor Tomlinson
Skyler Samuels
Liana Liberato
Anna Sophia Robb

For Elayane the daughter heir of Andor, Green ajah, and a dragon lover lol. I would go with anna Sophia Robb for Elayane. Skyler Samuels would be my second choice for the role of Elayane. Eleanor Tomlinson would be my third choice for her perfomance in Jack and The Giant Slayer and Poldark. Eleanor is also a forth choice for Aviendha too.

Aviendha

Sophie Skelton
Jane Levy
 Rachel Hurd Wood

Eleanor Tomlinson

For Aviendha I wanted to go with full red head like Rand or brown red. My first choice would be Outlander star Sophie Skelton. Jane Levy is my second choice for her performance in Evil Dead. Rachel Hurd Wood is a third choice that came to mind the only movie I ever saw her in was Peter Pan she could pull it off. Elarnor is also another choice for Aviendha, I know I have her as choice for elayne but I think she could also play a good Aviendha too.

                                                                        Tam Al'Thor
He may not be Rand's real father but he is his daddy

Ray Stevenson
 Nathan Fillon
                                                                     Stephen Moyer

For Tam Al'Thor these are the three I could see playing Rand's adoptive father I feel like Stephan Moyer is good choice from True Blood even though I never watch it I hear he's good in it. Ray Stevenson from Thor and Rome is my second choice for Tam he could play that good father figure, and Nathan Fillion is someone I thought of from Firefly and Castle. I would choose Stephan Moyer for Tam.

Tuon

Kiersey Ciemons
 Jaz Sinclair
 Laya Lewis
 Larissa Wilson
Asha Bromfield
For Tuon I think Kiersey Ciemons would be a good choice for Tuon, my second choice would Asha who plays Josie in Riverdale. The other two Larissa Wilson from Skins is my third choice and Jaz and Laya could do a good job too. Just one of these five is willing to shave their hair off or just cut it short.

Falie

Quinn Shephard
 Melinda Shankar

For Falie ok again I went diverse again all right I know you're all thinking. If I had to choose well you'll have to see my pick at the bottom of the page. Don't give me crap if I cast Melinda as Falie ok, we all know when they do start casting actual show they will change certain characters ethic backgrounds.

Galad
Toby Sebastian
Robbie Amell

For Galad one of these two could pull it off I think Toby would be my first choice and Robbie would be my second choice.
Taim
Aidan Turner
Colin O'Donoghue

Aidan is my first choice loved him in the hobbits movie, my second would be Colin from Once Upon A Time.

The Forsaken

Ishamael
Toby Kebbell

Rufus Sewell
Ed Skrein

For Ishamel I went looking for actors known for playing good bad guys. These are the three I could think of and I personality would go with Toby Kebbell from his performance as Koba from the Ape movies. I also like Rufus Sewell who was from Knight's Tale and King Charles the Second.  I could see Rufus playing another Forsaken I think Rahvin would be a good choice for him. Ed Skrien aka Francis lol would be a good choice too.

Lanfear
Crazy evil bitch has a thing for dragons.

Morena Baccarin
Kate McGrath
Ashley Greene
Sophie Winkleman

For Lanfear these are my four choices I know I have Kate McGrath is a choice for Lanfear thats because of her performance in Merlin. If I had to choose I think I would go with Sophie Winkleman I know she was born in 1980, but hey age is just a number and I remember her character on two and a half men was annoying bitch. My second choice would be Morena Baccarin from Deadpool, Firefly,  and Gotham. Kate McGrath I know I want her for Moiraine but I can see her playing Lanfear as well due to her performance as Morgana in Merlin. Ashley Greene another choice I would considered for Lanfear from Twilight (just so you know I hate the twilight series, I likes the actors though.)

Aginor

John Noble
Jonathan Banks

Only could think of two actors and I go with John Noble from Lord of the Rings.

Balthamel

He does not speak and this the only I could see playing him.

Rahvin
Rufus Swell
Dominic West
These are my two choices for Rahvin I would go with Rufus Swell he has usurper of the throne look.

Belal
Cary Elwes
He is legit the only guy I can see playing this character.

Asmodean
Tyler Hoechlin
Jonathan Rhys Meyers
I would go with Tyler for Asmodean.
Graendal
Yvonne Strahovski
Sienna Miller
Katheryn Winnick

Billie Piper
I would go with Billie Piper
Mesaana
Claudia Black

Moghdien
Jenna Coleman
Christina Ricci
I go with Christina Ricci because I have seen her in goth roles and Moghdien would fit her best than Jenna Coleman
Sammael
Kevin Durdan
Tavis Fimmel
Tavis depending how long Vikings last for and also same to Kevin.

Demandred
Johnthan Rhys Meyers
Orlando Bloom
Aidan Turner
If I had to choose I go with Jonathan Rhys Meyers for Demandred.

Semirhage
Freema Agyeman
Samira Wiley

I would go with Freema Agyeman for Semirhage, I mean Samira could be good choice too from her performance in Orange is the new Black.

That's my cast for the upcoming Wheel of Time TV series, let me know what you think if anyone has suggests for actors who could play the characters let me know. If also I forgot some characters to cast let me know, because I was focusing mostly on the main characters and villains.
