My thoughts on the Miles Morales Spiderman Live Action Movie?

My thoughts on the Miles Morales Spiderman film.

It was announced that we are getting a Miles Morales Spiderman movie. Now I'm excited about the idea of a Miles Morales film. I just hope it's as good as Spider-Verse. I'm seeing the new movie this Friday and will write an extensive review.

So my thoughts on this film are I like this idea, and I think the Miles film can be good as long as they got the writers of Spider-Verse involved because, let's face it, the comics haven't done anything good with the character in a while. Unlike the comics, I still find it amazing how these films do a better job with the character. Well, sometimes, some comic adaptions suck.

Now we don't know if this film is set in because there are so many places you can establish Miles in.
There are only four choices to take this character, and would he have his own Peter Parker?

Tom's Spiderman
Since Donald Glover played Miles's uncle Aaron Davis, there is a chance Miles is in the MCU. However, I think they shouldn't have Miles in the MCU yet. If Spiderman 4 has Miles, it would be too similar to Spider-Verse. So I would save Miles for a later film. The next Spiderman should either team up with Daredevil or retell the Venom arc and get it right.

Tobey's Spiderman
There's also the idea that this film is set in Raimi's Spiderman universe, which would work because Tobey wants to return. They could make a Spiderman 4 film with Peter becoming Miles's mentor and father figure, and you could still have Mayday Parker in the movie and have become SpiderGirl. Maybe she would be a love interest to Miles. I did a Spiderman 4 idea with Peter training his son, but this could also happen. Although it would come off as the Ant-Man movie, I think this movie would be exciting, passing the torch.

Andrew's Spiderman
Now Andrew's Spiderman never got a good conclusion even though No Way Home did a great job with the character, and I loved that scene when he saves MJ's life. It's such a fantastic scene. Andrew once said he wanted the next Spiderman film to focus on Miles Morales. So I say let him mentor Miles because we should get an Amazing Spiderman 3, which gives Andrew a good send-off, but also, I would call that film Amazing Spidermen. You could end with Miles becoming the new Spiderman, and Andrew's Spiderman gets with his own MJ and starts a family.

This film is set in Sony's Spider-Verse, and Miles is the Spiderman of this universe.
Now there is the idea that this film will be set in Sony's Spider-Verse. Their live-action universe isn't good, to be honest. The Venom films are okay, but Tom Hardy is a great Eddie Brock, way better than Topher Grace, but Morbius was awful. We're getting a Kraven film, a Madame Web film, and El Muetro. In my opinion, Sony's Spider Universe needs a better head producer and direction, but I hear Phil Lord and Chris Miller are doing the job, which is good. There is also a Spiderman Noir tv show in the works, which could be good. Miles may be going to be there, Spiderman, but maybe not, I don't know. I can see them trying to Miles the face of their Live Action Cinematic Universe.

Now if they are going to make a Miles film, they have to, like I mentioned before, get good writers.
As well, for Miles Rogues Gallery, he doesn't have much besides his uncle Aaron aka Ultimate Prowler, Maximus Gargan, aka Ultimate Scorpion, and Conrad Marcus, aka Ultimate Venom. He needs to have a good villain to fight or a villain of Peter Parker's he has to fight. Also, this Miles film should be grounded and focus on a young man like Peter Parker becoming Spiderman by accident.
I hope they get good writers and a good director, and I think Phil Lord and Chris Miller would do a great job making a Miles Morales Spiderman Live Action film.

So that's my thoughts on the Miles Morales Live Action Film.
I'm excited for this film, and I hope it's good. There is a chance it might suck, but who knows.
We just have to wait and see what they do, whether this film is set in MCU, Raimi, Webb, or Sony's Spider-Verse. Who knows, as long as they do an excellent job with Miles.
Let me know what you think?

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 Review

My Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3
Review.

So I finally saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, and here's my review of it...I love it. This movie is on the same level as Spiderman No Way Home. After the disappointing Ant-Man 3 film, this delivers a much better conclusion to this trilogy. I got to say this movie showed that everyone is at their best, and the story is well written. I have more faith that James Gunn will give us a great DCU after seeing this and Suicide Squad.
I'm going to miss this team.
Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillian, Pom Klementieff, and Sean Penn. Everyone did a great job.
Everyone in this movie did a great job. The whole cast everyone was their best, like Star-Lord; those haters are going to love him in this; Nebula gets the best character development, Drax is funny, Mantis she's excellent, and past Gamora I don't like her at first, but she grows to be a better character. As well this film shows Rocket's origin story.
Heads up, Rocket's origin story is very sad. I literally shed a tear because seeing animal cruelty makes me sad. Also, this scene made me think of a raccoon my mom once adopted as a kid. So it just made me shed a tear. PETA loves this movie because it addresses animal cruelty at its worse.

The film also introduces Adam Warlock, a character many fans have wanted to see on the big screen, and some fans wanted him in Infinity War. Adam was good but not at his best in this film. I say because he acts like a kid in this movie, but I think they will do more with the character in the future. I feel like he could have done better.

Now one of the biggest highlights of this film is High Evolutionary because he is the most hated MCU villain yet. You want to see this guy dead because he does horrible things in this movie, and it makes me want to say Marvel, please give us more villains like this! No more sympathetic villains who do awful things, but we should feel for them because the terrorists who kill innocents are in the right to do it. High Evolutionary is by far one of the best villains in the MCU. We need to see more villains like him. I hear fans now want Chukwudi Iwuji, who played the character, to take over as Kang because he did a great job. Seriously Marvel gives us less sympathetic villains and more hateful villains we love to hate.

The music they play in this film is excellent, and the visual effects are great. I love the action in this film, and seeing the team fight together is one of my favorite moments. I just had a great time watching this film, and like I wrote before, this film is on the same level as Spiderman No Way Home. All the characters are done well, have good character development, and are not sidelined in the film. This was a great send-off to all of the team. Also, I love that this film drops the f-bomb. So proud of Gunn for doing that. I mean, the movie has a pacing problem, but overall, I still enjoyed this movie.
Also, I loved the dog Cosmo. She's so funny. She's played Maria Bakalova Borat's daughter, lol.

Overall I love this film, and it ended this trilogy on a good note. I recommend this film to anyone, and I give this film 9 out of 10. Go see it because it's another tremendous third film that ended a trilogy on a great note.

Spoilers are down below.

Here's what happens to all of the Guardians at the end of this film.
The film ends with Star-Lord quitting and naming Rocket the new team leader. Peter reunites with his grandfather, and I think we will see Starlord again in the future, but I feel he will be an Avenger this time.
I can see Starlord playing a role in Kang Dynasty as a new Avenger.

Gamora rejoins the Ravangers, and no, she and Quill don't get together, which is fine because, let's face it, the Gamora Peter loved is dead. This is a different Gamora. No, there is no romance with Adam Warlock like the comics.
Rocket and Groot form a new Guardians of the Galaxy, and Rocket makes peace with Layla, his girlfriend, and his two friends, Teeth and Floor, for not saving them. Rocket's Guardians of the Galaxy are Adam Warlock, Kraglin, Phyla-Vell, and Cosmo.

Drax and Nebula take over the city of Knowhere, and Drax becomes a dad to a group of children that High Evolutionary had captured. In this film, nebula finally lets go of anger, becomes a leader, and even laughs and dances joyfully.

Mantis goes on her own to find herself, so we have that, but overall they give each member a proper send-off.

I don't think we've seen the last of these guys. We might see them again in the future or see them in James Gunn's DCU.

How I would relaunch the Scarlet Spider Title focusing on Kaine

I was a big fan of the Scarlet Spider Series, focusing on Kaine Parker. Peter Parker's clone and who was a villain but later got redeemed and became the new Scarlet Spider. I loved that series and the last thing Kaine was in Spider Geddon. Kaine eventually returns at the end of Spider-Verse and is alive again. I hope they will bring back Kaine in his own series soon.

If I were to write a Scarlet Spider story, here's how I would write it.

(Google Image)
The series follows Kaine, now living in Las Vegas after the events of Spider Geddon.
He's living everyday life as Kaine Parker.
He works at a gym but makes much money from his job, robbing some bad guys.
He also has a new friend named Jeff Evans, who owns the gym called Bump It, and he goes out drinking with him. Kaine fights crime as Scarlet Spider and protects Las Vegas since Ben Reilly previously protected it.
Kaine occasionally hears from Peter and worries about him because they are brothers. He knows about Ben and says, "It's a shame he went down the worst path I did."
Kaine would reunite with old friends.
Maria Aracely Penalba is with the New Warriors but will return and reunite with Kaine in the series.
Kaine also reunites with his former fling Annabella who is now in Las Vegas, but her music career has gone downhill, and she's working as a stripper in Las Vegas.
Kaine wants to help her, but she doesn't want his help, and she feels he abandoned her because he never came back to Houston. Kaine tells her it was hard for him to return, and he tells her about the other things in his life. Spider-Verse, Clone Conspiracy, and Spider-Gedeon. At the same time, Kaine never stopped thinking about her, for he always thought of her.
The two of them would rekindle their romance, and he would get advice about romance from Peter.
Kaine would also reunite Wally and Donald from his time in Texas.
Kaine is happy to see both of them, and he apologizes to them for what happened with Kraven, but both Wally and Donald forgive him, and Wally mentions him telling his brother Peter about how he forgave Kaine and still supported him. Kaine remembers Peter mentioning that during Spider-Verse.
Kaine would have a big dinner reunion with Annabella, Donald, Wally, and Maria, but that gets ruined when some villains come to Las Vegas.

In a shocking twist, Charlie Parker, aka Spider Kid from Spider Force, would be in this storyline.
He ended up being Earth 616, and we would see Kaine become a mentor to Spider Kid.
Kaine would have a complicated relationship, unlike his relationship with Maria.
We see Kaine become a father figure to Charlie Parker because he didn't have that because his uncle Ben abused him.

Everything changes for Kaine as Kraven the Hunter comes to Las Vegas, causing mayhem, and he's got his own Sinister 6. Kaine would be getting his own Sinister 6, and they want to kill him.

Kraven's Sinister 6 rooster is.

Kraven the Hunter (Leader)
Kraven forms his own Sinister 6 to hunt down and kill Scarlet Spider. He was told about Kaine by his father and now wants to finish his father's hunt and kill Kaine. Kraven feels out of all Spidermen, Kaine disrespected his father the most and wouldn't give him the peace he wanted.

Jason Macendale/Grey Goblin
Jason Macendale was brought back during Clone Conspiracy and died again. However, it's revealed Jason was never actually dead. It turns out he faked death, and that person Roderick killed was actually someone else. Jason then becomes full-on Merc, changing his name, and he meets Kraven and joins his Sinister 6 team. Instead of becoming Hobgoblin again, he decides to become the new Grey Goblin that was originally Gabriel Stacy, but that was recon.

Raptor
Raptor, who was killed off in the comics, would return this time because he wants revenge on Kaine for killing him and not curing him. This Raptor is a clone created by Kraven but has the memories of the previous Raptor.

Harvester
Harvester was killed by Deadpool in Deadpool Assassin, but it's revealed this is a different Harvester, for it's a mantle passed down in the assassin guild. This Harvester was the cousin of the original Harvester.

Salamander
Salamander was one of the first villains Kaine fought and would join Kraven's Sinister 6 to kill Kaine.

Bruiser
Bruiser is the team's muscle and is recruited as a member to take down Kaine.

After Kraven and his Sinister 6 come to Las Vegas to cause mayhem and attempt to kill him and his friends after a great reunion with them, Scarlet Spider must stop his Sinister 6 from destroying his new home and friends; this time, he's got Hummingbird and Spider-Kid to help him.
This story is about Kaine making a comeback, and it's a more down-earth Spiderman.
I would make it an eight-issue storyline.
The next storyline has Scarlet Spider facing off against Chasm, aka Ben Reilly.
The next storyline is Kaine facing off against Ben, who wants to kill him.
The two of them would face off, and Peter Parker would be involved in helping Kaine defeat Ben. Kaine and Peter also believe there might be a chance to save their brother Ben, but it seems unlikely. As Kaine mentions, he will kill Ben if he can't be saved. Because unlike Peter, Kaine is willing to take a life because he's the Wolverine of Spidermen.
This would be a six-part storyline. Guest staring Peter Parker aka Spiderman.
That's how I would relaunch the Scarlet Spider series. I want to see Kaine make a comeback because I loved The Scarlet Spider run, written by Christopher Yost. This character has more stories to tell.
Let me know what you think.

Why we are getting sick of Disney Live Action Remakes.

Why we are getting sick of Live Action Remakes!

After that awful Peter Pan and Wendy, or Wendy and Peter Pan as I call it. That film, to me, basically is the last straw. Don't get me wrong, Pinnichio was horrible, but not the amazing Netflix one. These remakes have got to stop. One thing that pissed me off about the Peter Pan remake is that they downgrade Peter Pan into a weak character who's not even the main star of this film. Wendy is an unlikable character who represents that growing up wasn't bad, but they made her unlikeable. Also, the fact that she doesn't want to be a mom is not her character. She wanted to be a mom and write stories about Peter Pan, and I hated the dialogue in this film. Worst of all, they make Captain Hook sympathetic! What is with this sympathetic villain trait? We need to see more villains we love to hate because they are so evil and twisted. We also want to see well-written, likable protagonists who inspire us not to give up.
This is by far the worst Disney remake made by a talented director.
I recommend just watching the original animated film, the 2003 film that did both Peter and Wendy better, and there is always Hook too.

Live-action remakes are just getting brutal to watch. I'm not excited about Little Mermaid. That movie has been causing such a feud between fans and Disney. I have nothing against Haley Baily playing Ariel. I think she's a very talented actress and singer, and she didn't deserve to be harassed online. I just don't like this remake.
If you don't like how the movie is written or made, that's fine but don't hate on the actor for doing their job.
I don't like that it's another remake because all the characters look bad, like Flounder, Sebastian, and Scully, who they gender-swap. They are changing the songs because they came off as problematic, like Kiss, the Girl. I'm like, but in the movie, I'm pretty sure Ariel was the one who wanted to kiss Eric, and he didn't want to, but we know she had to kiss him to remain a human. They are changing the ending of the film because no doubt Ariel will defeat Ursula despite the fact Eric is the one who does it because, hey, she saved his life in that storm, and he returns the favor and saves her life. Shows how much they love each other and will have each other's back. I don't think this film looks good because I'm sick of these remakes, and I'm not the only one.
In my opinion, the only good live-action remakes are Cinderella and Jungle Book. They were written by two great directors who added more to the story and gave the main characters more depth and development. It's too bad other directors of live-action remakes didn't do this because they change too much of the story and create stuff that just doesn't work. Although I know Jon Favreau made that awful Lion King remake, but, hey, some of our favorite directors can make bad films once in a while. It happens.
Look at the live-action Mulan movie. It ruined the character of Mulan because, in the animated film, we see her struggle with her training in the army until she uses her wits and figures out to get the arrow from that large wooden pole. We see Mulan get better through hard work, learning from her mistakes, and saving all of China from the Huns. In the live-action remake, they make her already perfect at this stuff.

Also, look at Beauty and the Beast remake. They just created more plot holes, and you know when the Beast freaks out at Belle for being in the West Wing, and he feels regret after yelling. In the live-action remake, he just looks back at the rose, not showing any regret. Someone pointed this out, and they were right. It ruins that moment in the animated film where the Beast was wrong, and he saves Belle from the wolves. In the live-action remake, he cares more about the rose than her. Also, in that remake, one of my friends pointed out that Gaston suffered from shell shock from the war, which was a weird thing to add to the character.

I will say if Disney just remaking their films didn't have enough story or were poorly received, that would be okay. I want a good Sword in the Stone remake because there is so much to tell. I want to see an Atlantis the Lost Empire remake because it would make a good live-action remake and fix the issues some critics had with it, and of course, there is the Black Cauldron which they can quickly fix because it's based on the Chronicles of Prydain. See these remakes. Audiences would get behind because they could be better films. Remaking great animated films from the 90s is a bad idea.

I mean, right now, we have the writers guild strike, and I hope this makes Disney think, you know what we need to create original ideas and hire good writers who can make something original or remake something that was not well praised by critics and wasn't box office successes. Because these remakes have to stop, we are just tired of this. We want more original and story-driven ideas that don't shove agendas down your throat. These remakes are just cash cows and that's it.
You see, Disney is getting owned by Illiumation.
Still, I think most Disney Fans agree we are sick of these remakes, not just them but Disney hiring bad writers and giving us crap. The Mario Bros movie is way better than Lightyear, Strange World, and Red. Audiences prefer Mario because it doesn't downgrade its leads, writes better villains, and is a fun movie. Disney needs to listen to their fans and audience. Just give them fun, story-driven films and shows.

That's all we want!
Let me know what you think. Are you getting sick of these remakes too? Let me know, and leave a comment.
