DCU Justice League Fan Cast and my official picks for Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter.

Now, I don't know if this is the Justice League we are getting this all speculation. 

 We will not know the first DCU Justice League team roster until after the strike.

Still, here are the actors I would cast in the DCU, and two of them have already been released. 

David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman 

David has been cast as Superman, and honestly, he was always my first choice to play Superman in the DCU. I'm happy Gunn cast him as Superman. 

Scott Eastwood as Bruce Wayne/Batman 

Choosing Batman was hard, but in the end, I decided to go with Scott because he's got the right look, and I can see him as Batman. He deserves better after the first Suicide Squad.

Kaya Scodelario as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman 

Kaya has the right look to play Wonder Woman, so I chose her as Wonder Woman. 

John David Washington as J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter 

John, here to me, is the right choice to play Martian Manhunter, and his dad is a fan favorite for the character, too. John is who I would cast Martian Manhunter. 

Glen Powell as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern 

To be honest, after Top Gun Maverick, this guy speaks to me as Hal Jordan. I don't know if they will go with Hal Jordan as the first Green Lantern to join the Justice League. They might go with John Stewart instead, which I would be fine with as long as it's not Guy Garner. 

George MacKay as Barry Allen/The Flash 

For Flash, like I wrote before, anyone is better than Ezra, and I know Lucas was a fan favorite, but in the end, I'm going with George MacKay as The Flash. 

Isabela Merced as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl 

Since Isabela has already been cast as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, we will see her in Justice League since the character will be in Legacy. 

This is my team rooster for the DCU Justice League, and yes, it is based on the animated series team rooster, except I replaced John Stewart, Wally West, and Shiera Hall with Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, and Kendra Saunders. We shall see what type of Justice League we will get in the DCU, and I just hope it's a good team.

My Top 5 Actors to play Martian Manhunter in the DCU.

Here's another of my top five actors to play DCU characters; this time, it's Martian Manhunter. Martian Manhunter has appeared in the DCEU films but didn't get his moment to fully shine. Again, I don't know if Martian Manhunter will be in chapter 1, but it would be cool, and I would like a TV show for this character, like a detective sci-fi series. 

So here are my top 5 actors to play Martian Manhunter.

5. Jesse Williams 

Jesse Williams was excellent in Detroit to Become Human. Despite it being a game, I loved his performance in the game. So I think it would be an exciting choice to play J'onn. 

4. Mahershala Ali

Mahershala here is one of the best actors I know, and I have to be honest; I don't think we are getting Blade anytime soon because of rewrites, and he's not happy with the script. I wouldn't be surprised if Gunn offered him a role in the DCU if that's the case. I think he would be a good fit for Martian Manhunter. 

3. John David Washington 

I know I included John in my top five Green Lantern actors, but this is another role I can see him playing. 

2. Tongayi Chirisa 

Tongayi here was in Transformers Rise of the Beasts. He played Cheetor, and even though he didn't get a lot of lines, he still sounded fantastic. He's not a big name, but casting an unknown would be exciting. We've seen how well that turned out with Christopher Reeves and Christ Hemsworth. 

1. Sterling K. Brown 

Sterling K. Brown is one fantastic actor, and I could pull off a great Martian Manhunter, and he's in great shape for his age. 

So those are my top five actors to play Martian Manhunter. Let me know what you think.

Also, I will release my choices for the role in a DCU Justice League Fan Cast.

However, I don't know what the team rooster will be because, let's face it, we won't know after the strikes are over. I'm hoping for the animated series team rooster.  

PEI Restaurant Reviews.

 

PEI Review 

So last week I went to PEI with my girlfriend, and I got to tell ya it was fun, like the beaches and the restaurants were good too. PEI is small, but there's still a lot of stuff to see like we went to Julios.

Julio's Oyster Express.

Was a really cool place to go to. They have fresh seafood, and trying the oysters is one of the funniest things.

The Oysters were good, but they still had some salt water. If you try them, pour the water out, but keep your finger on the oyster so it won't spill.

I also learned that brown oysters are in upper water and green are in lower water, and oysters can change their gender. The Oysters were delicious, and we had about five of them. And I would say the green oysters are the best. Also, Julio was our host; he was a lot of fun and a great guy. He taught me a lot about oysters, so check out Julio's Oyster Express if you go to PEI. 

While we were in PEI, we saw some buffalo, and I'm surprised they have buffalos in PEI. 

It was really cool. 

Now, the restaurant was this famous fish and chips restaurant called Richards.

They are known for their fish and chips and lobster sandwiches. 

I ordered the Fish and Chips, and It was good, but I think the fish was too greasy. The fries were fantastic; my girlfriend said the lobster sandwich was good. Lobster is expensive there in PEI.

Overall, I still enjoyed the food. It's an 8 out of 10.

One morning me, and my girlfriend went to McDonald's...McDonald's Bakery.

It's a bakery, not a restaurant, and I have to say they make great donuts and cinnamon buns, too. 

I highly recommend this place for a freshly baked donut.

I give it a 9 out of 10. 

Overall, PEI was a great place to visit, and I recommend going there if you want to escape it all. 

Lots of amazing views of the beaches and landscapes. You must explore so much of this island because there's lots to see and great wineries and restaurants to check out. Also, the beaches there are great and, best of all, not rocky, but there can be lots of seaweed, but the beaches there are worth checking out. 

Heads up, they get super busy in the summertime, and the water was freezing cold, too. 

Our last two days were in Charlottetown, and it was fun. It's not big like Montreal, but for a small town,  they party hard on Friday and Saturday. The city had good places to check out, and the hotel we stayed in for two days was good, too.

PEI was a lot of fun. I recommend going once in a while just to get away from work but heads up, they hurricanes every 5 years, according to someone there. 

So yeah, PEI was worth checking out. 

My Top Five actors to play Green Lanterns Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Kyle Rayner

My Top Five Actors to play DCU Green Lanterns.

Hal, John, and Kyle. 

So the Lanterns show in the works focuses on Hal Jordan and John Stewart and will be True Detective in space, which I like. Here are the other top five actors for Hal Jordan and John Stewart. Nathan Fillion will play Guy Gardner in Superman Legacy, which is interesting. I just hope it's not a significant role. It's just building up Lanterns. I also added Kyle Rayner to the mix because he's a fan favorite, too. 

So here are my top five actors to play these 3, starting with Hal Jordan. 

5. Joe Dempise 

Joe would be an exciting choice to play Hal Jordan, and he was good in Game of Thrones.

4. Aiden Ehrenreich 

Aiden, I will admit I liked him as Han Solo, but that film was terrible still. He's a good actor, and I can see him as Hal Jordan. Plus, he was good in Cocaine Bear. 

3. Miles Teller 

After his performance in Maverick, I think Miles would be a good Hal Jordan, and it would make up for Fan4stic. 

2. Zac Efron 

Zac has the right look, and he's gone from a Disney star to a more serious actor. So he would be an excellent choice to play Hal Jordan in the show. 

1. Glen Powell 

Now, like Miles, I think Glen here would be a great choice to play Hal Jordan after seeing Maverick. I would go with Glen like he looks the part, and I think he would just nail it as Hal Jordan. 

Next, John Stewart, the Green Lantern, we grew up with the Justice League Animated Series. 

5. Lakeith Stanfield 

Lakeith is a great actor, but I think he would be better suited for a different character; I think he could pull off a good John if he buffs up. 

4. John Boyega 

John's performance in Pacific Rim and Attack the Block deserves a better SCI-FI series since we know how his Star Wars films turned out. I would not waste this guy because he's a great actor. 

3. John David Washington 

John is one of my favorite actors and my top choice to play Black Panther, but I can see him as John Stewart. He was terrific in Tenet, and I can't wait to see The Creator. 

2. Michael B Jordan 

Michael B. Jordan would be a great choice to play John Stewart. His performance as Creed and Kilmonger is proof of that. 

1. Trevante Rhodes 

Trevante has always been my top choice to play John Stewart, and he is still my number one choice. Trevante is a great actor and a fan favorite to play the character in Lanterns. 

And finally, Kyle Rayner. 

We will see Kyle in the Lanterns show, maybe in the last episode or season 2.

5. Michael Cimino 

Michael is on the hit Netflix show Love Victor and is apparently perfect. He's also done other work too. 

4. Diego Boneta 

Diego, I have a fan cast in the past, and I think he could pull off a good Kyle Rayner. 

3. Henry Zaga 

Henry here was in The Stand and that awful New Mutants movie, but he looks the part, so I think he would be a good choice for Kyle. 

2. Blake Michael 

Blake is one of the Disney stars who grew out of it and went on to do more serious work. I think Blake would be an excellent choice to play Kyle Rayner.

1. Tyler Posey 

Tyler here is a fan favorite to play Kyle Rayner, and I've even fan-cast him as Kyle. So, I believe he would be a good choice for the character of Kyle Rayner because of his performance in Teen Wolf.  

So those are my top 5 actors to play the Green Lanterns: Hal, John, and Kyle.
