Spiderman Noir Movie Fan Cast and Ideas

Spiderman Noir Movie Fan Cast and Ideas

So we know Spiderman Noir from Spiderman into the SpiderVerse voiced by Nicolas Cage.

The wind blows with him where ever he goes.

Spiderman Noir is an exciting take on Spiderman. Basically, the Noir series is what if marvel heroes like Spiderman, Daredevil, Luke Cage were all around during the 30s in a detective noir series. Basically, they are detectives, private investigators, and darker heroes. I think a film series about Spiderman Noir film could work if done the right way. Now I did a Spiderman Noir TV Series fan cast, and now here's my movie fan cast.

Now I'm going to do a fan cast and share my ideas on a Spiderman Noir Film.

First, here's my Fan Cast.

Daniel Radcliffe as Peter Parker/The Spiderman
Yes, Harry Potter himself, but come on, he has proven to be an outstanding actor, Harry Potter. This Peter Parker became Spiderman as an adult. His origin is different from the original Peter Parker, but his uncle wasn't shot and killed; he was brutally murdered and torn apart by the Goblin and Vulture. This Peter lived with his Aunt May during the Great Depression, and he couldn't go to university like he wanted to. He eventually met Ben Urich, a photojournalist, and was nicked named the Spider. Ben saves May's life from the Enforcers, and he becomes with Peter's friends and gets Peter a job at the Bugle. When he gets bitten by the spider, This Peter passes out and meets the Spider God who gives him powers, and he breaks free from a black cocoon. Thus, he becomes The Spiderman. This Spiderman is darker and edgy, like he uses a gun and is an investigative reporter who collects only facts. However, he is a good person, and he wants to fight crime and corruption and protect his city. In the film, he wants to find out who killed his uncle Benjamin and that's why he works with Ben because Ben has leads that lead to a crime boss in New York known as The Goblin. This Spiderman, unlike many others, wasn't taught that with great power comes great responsibility. Instead, it's "If there's too much power, it's the responsibility of people to take it away."

Samara Weaving as Felicia Hardy
As we know as Black Cat, Felicia Hardy, but in this universe, she is not, but she owns a Black Cat club. She would be Peter's love interest in the film and was actually a former lover of Ben Urich but not anymore. In this series, Peter's love interest will be Felicia Hardy. We need a break from MJ. She helps Spiderman with solving mysteries and helps him stop the Goblin. The two of them eventually get together despite learning some things about her, like she's done wrong and was lovers with Ben and The Goblin, but it doesn't change how Peter feels about her. Even though she feels like it wouldn't work out because the two of them come from different lives. It's a bruIt's romance for the two, but in future films, they admit they love each other despite their struggles.

Michael Shannon as Norman Osborn/The Goblin

Norman Osborn, in this version, is not the owner of Oscorp or a scientist. This Norman was a mistreated circus freak because he suffered a rare skin condition that made his skin green and scaly like a goblin. Later in life, he became a mobster and made his way up into the world as one of the city's most dangerous crime bosses, known as The Goblin. He uses a human mask made by the Chameleon of this universe to help hide his natural face. He's also the one responsible for the death of Spiderman's uncle Ben, and he's done a lot of terrible things. He also has his own group called the Enforcers, who were circus friends and his other allies Kraven, the Chameleon, and a cannibal version of Vulture. He wants to rule the city and kill anyone who gets in his way.

Adam Driver as Ben Urich

Ben Urich in this version is younger; he's still a private photographer; his nickname was The Spider. He found evidence on who the corrupted people of the high class are in New York, and he has dirt on the Goblin too. He wants to expose the corruption of New York, especially during the Great Depression. He meets Peter Parker after saving his aunt from the Enforcers and tells Peter that his uncle was murdered by the Goblin, and that is foul play afoot. Ben gets Peter a job at the Daily Bugle as his photographer. This Ben helps Peter become who he is and takes Spiderman's name in honor of Ben since his nickname was The Spider. Ben would be killed by Chameleon, and it's revealed that he and Felicia were on and off again lovers. Peter lost his uncle Ben and a prominent brother figure named Ben in this universe.

Jamie Lee Curtis as Aunt May Riley
Aunt May is still the only family Peter has, and as usual, a widow after her husband is murdered. Since the Great Depression, she's speaking out for the common folk who are struggling during this time, and her late husband did the same and wanted to honor Ben, who was a hero during WW1. They were both social activists, and she continues their work and inspires her nephew Peter. She also owns a soup kitchen for the poor during the Great Depression. She's almost beaten by the Enforcers but is saved by Ben Urich, and Ben helps her nephew get a job at the Daily Bugle. She continues to speak for the common folk in honor of her late husband, Ben.

Tim Robbins as Benjamin Parker
Benjamin Parker, in this universe, was a WW1 vet and air pilot who was a hero during the war even though he never saw himself like that. Peter saw Ben as a father figure in his life. Benjamin told Peter that "Those with too much power, it's the people's responsibility to take it away." words that this Spiderman lives by. This Ben was brutally murdered by The Goblin, and the Vulture devoured his remains. Yeah, this uncle Ben had a more gruesome death. His good deeds were the reason he was killed by the Goblin. His death had a significant impact on Peter as he saw his uncle's body torn apart. Peter even uses his uncle's WW1 fighter pilot suit for his Spiderman costume.

Brandon Michael Hall as Robbie Robertson
Robbie in this version is Peter's best friend, and he's speaking up against racism in New York. Peter and his aunt and uncle shared his viewpoints. Robbie is a liberal journalist as well. He also sees Spiderman as a hero for the common folk after saving Robbie and his dad from some thugs.

Bob Odenkirk as Jonah Jameson
Jonah Jameson is just like his other counterpart, except he's pronounced murdered, but he's actually being held captive by The Goblin. Jonah is the editor of the Daily Bugle and, just like Ben, wants to expose the corrupted people of New York. He's a big drinker and smoker and listens to Jazz a lot. He doesn't hate Spiderman, though, in this universe.

Willa Holland as Betty Brant
Betty Brant is Jonah's assistant and works very hard to support her family. She learns of Jonah's death and thinks Spiderman did this, but he didn't. Betty's role is small in the film, unlike the other ones.

Joseph Gatt as Lippy
Lippy is Felicia's personal bodyguard with two scars forming an X.

The Enforcers
Sheamus as Ox, Jack Huston as Fancy Dan, and Matt Lauria as Montana
The Enforcers are the Goblin's henchmen and his friends from the circus. Ox is the muscle, Fancy Dan is the cunning one, and Montana is the cowboy.

Stefan Kapicic as Kraven
This Kraven works for The Goblin; in this version, he is a Russian circus performer with a pet monkey. He's still a hunter and had a strange way of training animals. He works with the Goblin as his second.

Doug Jones as Adrian Toomes/The Vulture and Stephen Ure as the voice of Vulture.
This Vulture is a circus freak who would entertain people by biting chicken's heads right off, but now he eats humans. He's one of the Goblin's most deadly servants and brutally killed Spiderman's uncle. This Vulture is more of a monster, and his eyes glow yellow like he is terrified to take on the character. Doug Jones would be the actor, but the voice would be done. Stephen Ure did the voices of some orcs in Lord of the Rings.

Now here are my ideas for a Spiderman Noir film.

6. Give us more frighting versions of Spidey's villains.
This Spiderman film's Spidey's rogues are much scarier and darker. Like Norman Osborn in this universe is a circus freak who hates how society mocked him for his skin condition, Vulture is an actual monster who is a cannibal. The rest of his villains in this universe are just really messed up characters except for the Enforcers.

5. Make the film black and white with a Sin City vibe.
Now Noir means black and white, so I think this movie should be a Black and White film. Like look at Sin City, those two movies were black and white, so it would fit well with a Spiderman Noir film. It would give people Detective Noir feel like from those movies from the 30s, 40s, and 50s.

4. It needs to be a dark Spiderman film but would still have its jokes.
Like Spiderman Noir is a dark series, and a film like this has to be dim and gritty because of gruesome murders, swearing, and sex scenes. This needs to be a more mature Spiderman film that still has its jokes like the Spiderman Noir in the movie Spider-Verse had marks, and those jokes worked great with that character, and they could work for a live-action adaption. As well as this, Spiderman uses a gun that would shock many people, but he's very different from other Spidermen.

3. This could be the first-ever R-rated Spiderman film.
Okay, I know this is very doubtful to happen. We can never see a Spiderman film that's rated R. It wouldn't happen. I mean, Spiderman films and shows have always been PG or PG-13. I doubt we would ever see a rated-R Spiderman film. However, it would be interesting to see, like, hey, this is a more mature Spiderman film with blood, gore, swearing, and sex scenes with some partial nudity, but it's likely not going to happen. I'm down for a dark PG-13 Spiderman Noir, and that would still work, too, because after Spider-Verse, I think a lot of kids would want to see Spiderman Noir on the big screen. However, I feel like that character is more for an older audience.

2. The film would be more detective Noir style.
This film would have Noir film vibes, like I mentioned before, and we see Spiderman as more of a private detective and journalist. As Spiderman, he wants the facts and evidence before he beat up bad guys. That would be a really cool idea to do with Spiderman making a mystery Noir film. Also, I would include that when he sees Nazis he just beats them up like Noir Spiderman said in Spider-Verse "One thing I love is punching Nazis."

1. The film could build Noir Cinematic Universe.
Now since Marvel and DC are building multiverses, maybe we could get separate cinematic universes. I don't know if that will happen. I mean, DC is doing that. Maybe Marvel will follow. You know, Marvel and Sony might share their universes, maybe not, and they want to expand on other universes like if someone suggested, like, hey, let's do a Noir Cinematic Universe or a 2099 universe, and you know the rest. It would be interesting but unlikely to happen. Also, if I was making a Spiderman Noir film, I would mention the other heroes like Spiderman.
Like in the Noir universe there is a Daredevil, a Luke Cage, a Wolverine, a Punisher, theres even the X Men, and theres an Iron Man. I mean they could set up something or just have these characters get mentioned but they never meet because they are just keeping to themselves. Unless something pushes them to work together like Spiderman, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Punisher team up to fight Kingpin or something that would be interesting. Like if I were do a second film the film would be based on Eyes Without A Face and Crime Master would be the villain along with Doc Ock and I would have Luke Cage and Daredevil in the second film as allies to Spiderman against Crime Master. Hell, I would have a scene where Spiderman mentions he's not the only one wearing costume these days and brings up like "There's a guy in a devil suit and a guy who is bulletproof."

So that's my Spiderman Noir Fan Cast and Ideas let me know what you think would like to see this type of Spiderman film? Do you think they should one day make a R rated Spiderman film or just not likely. Let me know what you think.

Why I'm excited and nervous for the Obi Wan Show

So as we know there is an Obi Wan series coming to Disney Plus.

Many of us are excited to see Ewan McGregor return as Obi Wan in the upcoming tv series and Hayden Christian is coming back to play Darth Vader again. But many of us are very nervous too because lets face it now this my opinion and if you disagree with me fine. There is a good chance they might screw up the character like they did with Luke, Han, and Leia. There is a good chance Disney might screw this up show in general.
More people were excited to see Luke, Han, and Leia again on screen but these three got wasted and didn't get good send offs. Like Disney really wasted an opportunity with these characters and they pushed them aside for these new characters no one got invested in. Until Mandalorian of course.

Ugh that scene.

Now the show will have original characters and hopefully they are on the same level with the Mandalorian characters because Deborah Cho worked on Mandalorian and I trust her and she's the first Canadian to show run a Star Wars show. I wish her good luck seeing how she's work with Jon and Dave the show is in good hands with her.
I'm just worried that she won't have creative control and there are some signs of that. I trust Deb but I don't trust Lucasfilm or Kathleen Kennedy.

She said once there was no source material which made everyone go
WTF. Like she's got to go sure outside she's made good stuff but when it comes Star Wars not really.

I don't trust Kennedy and most of Lucasfilm with Obi Wan because they might ruin the character or mess up the lore which they do often.  I mean JJ just admitted recently there was no plan for the sequel trilogy so there is much to be concern about this show. Although Dave Filioni has been promoted to Executive Creative Director so that is a good sign and hopefully Jon Faverau will be more involve. However, I still have my hopes and doubts for Obi Wan.

Here are my reasons why I'm excited but very nervous for Obi Wan.

Nervous
Obi Wan will have a Co Lead
which feels forced.
Now it was revealed that Obi Wan will have a co lead in the show and its not Darth Vader or a young Luke Skywalker. This is an original character. Now there are original characters I like from Mandalorian with Deb as show runner maybe she will make this co lead a good character and they have a purpose being on the show. But it just feels forced in a way like why does Obi Wan co lead why not just a good supporting character? Most people are hoping this character won't be a Rey or Holdo or if this co lead is a waste of a character a Finn type character.
Because many fans wanted this show just focus on Obi Wan and I'm  nervous he's going to be pushed to aside in favour of this co lead. This co lead is no doubt Kathleen's idea and I would hate it if this character gets shove down our throats. Original characters need to have a purpose being in the show, movie, or book. Most of all you got to make them interesting, well written, they serve a purpose in the story. So I'm nervous about this co lead but I could be wrong and co lead will be a likeable character. It still feels forced though.

Excited
Ewan and Hayden are coming back.
A reason to be excited is that Ewan is coming back as Obi Wan and he was best thing about the Prequel trilogy. As well Hayden is coming back to play Darth Vader and I will admit I don't mind Darth Vader being in the show but I got to be honest I'm not keen on this rematch their planning, I'll explain later. I mean this idea will feel nostalgic seeing these two again on screen. I'm excited to Ewan come back and he's at the right age of 50 but I'm just hoping they don't mess up his character in the show.

Nervous
They might ruin Obi Wan's character
Like Luke, Han, Leia, and so many other great characters there is a good chance they might ruin the character of Obi Wan. We've seen enough fan favourites get ruined by Disney and Lucasfilm. So I'm nervous they might make him into a sad bitter old man, he's also drinks green milk, and he's get talk down to all the time. Like we want Obi Wan to be a bad ass jedi, he's wise, and even though he's still haunted by the events of Revenge of the Sith he's still committed to his training with Qui Gon, Protecting Luke, and trying to find any surviving Jedi out there. Thats what we want to see from this character. We don't him to be Luke was in the Disney Trilogy. However, if theres one thing I learned from Mandalorian is that show has redeem characters like Boba Fett and Luke. As well Deb worked on Mandalorian so she likely respect Obi Wan.
So I could be wrong they actually might do Obi Wan right because they give fans the Boba Fett they always wanted to see on screen.
And of course this what we wanted to see Luke in the Disney Trilogy.
Instead of him drinking green milk. Mark Hamill prefers Mando's Luke over the Disney Trilogy Luke. Let's hope that Deb does Obi Wan justice and uses source martial from Expanded Universe like Jon and Dave have done with Mandalorian.

Excited
The cast looks promising.
I like the cast and they all show great promise and hoping the characters they play will have a purpose being in the show. I mean I know Ewan, Hayden, Joel, and Bonnie were in Star Wars already they will do a good job. The other actors I hope they do a really good job and I just hope their characters are good and serve a purpose being in the show.

Nervous
This rematch between Obi Wan and Darth Vader
ruins the whole point of "We meet again at last."
Now as we know they announced that Obi Wan and Darth Vader will have a rematch on the show. Now some fans don't like that idea because it ruins the whole point of them seeing each other again in A New Hope. Because remember Vader says we meet again at last like implying they haven't seen each other since Mustfar.
I see why fans don't like this rematch, if you ask me he should fight Darth Maul again I mean more fans would want to see that instead. I mean to some it ruins the lore but hey Disney has not been following the lore and they've been changing it a lot so I shouldn't be surprise. I like the idea of Darth Vader being on the show but I just don't think him and Obi Wan should have a rematch maybe they know about each other but they choose to not face each other. However, it might surprise its really good and you know it could interesting.

Excited
Obi Wan's training from
Qui Gon.
Now one thing that is going to be cool is we see Obi Wan learning this new training that he was told by Yoda. As I hope this show explores more of the lore of Star Wars and the force. I really hope they include a story arc were Obi Wan is trying to protect some Jedi from the Empire.  I would love it if Qui Gon came back and we have him and Obi Wan talking and he just lets out his anger on Qui Gon as he has some blame for the fall of the Jedi. It would just be a good scene to include.

Nervous
The series first got put on hold because Kennedy
didn't like the completed scripts.

Now back in early 2020 originally Obi Wan was set to start filming but Kennedy put the show on hold because she didn't like the scripts. Now seeing how she made the Disney Trilogy, she never really had a plan like JJ just recently confirmed, and she said there was no source material.
This does raise concerns for so many fans like its possible scripts were good but Kennedy didn't like them. I have theory that Deb didn't want to give Obi Wan a co lead in the show but Kennedy made her include a co lead. Now that's just speculation on my part I just want to make that clear. This is what I think happened that got the show put on hold, It's possible because we don't know what goes on behind closed doors in the industry. As well it is possible the scripts didn't test well.
I think Deb didn't have any plans for a co lead in the show and she wanted just to focus on Obi Wan. Like I'm sure she has written a really good supporting cast but I think Kennedy made her write a co lead in the show or its possible Deb was always planing a co lead but it wasn't the type of co lead Lucasfilm had in mind. Again this is just speculation of mine and why I think the show as put on hold. However, this does remain of us how Episode 9 was done.
(Google Image)
As much I hated the Disney Trilogy its possible that
Duel of Fates would have redeem the trilogy just like Revenge of the Sith did with the
Prequel Trilogy.

Like look at the original idea for Episode 9 Duel of Fates that would have been ten times better then Rise of Skywalker but Kennedy instead ditch that idea for Rise of Skywalker and you know the rest. So I am nervous because it could backfire. I just feel like the original scripts were already good but to Kennedy and Lucasfilm they didn't like them personally that's just what I think. Now I could be wrong and maybe she did the right thing for once and put the show on hold and rewrite the show. Let's just see what the future holds maybe the show will be on the same level with Mandalorian hopefully or maybe not. Only time will tell and hopefully Deb will do a good job.

Like look at the original idea for Episode 9 Duel of Fates that would have been ten times better then Rise of Skywalker but Kennedy instead ditch that idea for Rise of Skywalker and you know the rest.

So that's why I'm excited and nervous for Obi Wan but who knows this all depends when the show is out.
I'm still excited for Obi Wan and I trust Debra Chow but not Kennedy and most of Lucasfilm, so I'm still nervous. However, I could be wrong because I loved Mandalorian because it delivered and it made me love Star Wars again and I cared about the characters on the show so let's hope. I really hope they don't mess up Obi Wan's character in this because lets face it Lucasfilm has a habit of ruining these characters we grew up with. Except for Mandalorian though that's been honouring and respecting its characters for the fans who love them. So let me know what you think are you excited for Obi Wan or are you nervous for Obi Wan.
Also heres a link to my Obi Wan what I want to see and don't want to see.
