Here is my Moon Knight Movie Cast and Crew. Now for the record I know many fans want to see Moon Knight get adapted but most fans either want a movie or tv show. Some fans want a movie because they want see Moon Knight be the MCU's Batman and there is other fans that want a tv series because they can make it bloody, gory, and have nudity. That I get because MCU will always be PG 13 because of Disney and let's face it Netflix is only thing that makes MCU dark and gritty. I think Moon Knight can work in both in film and television. I can see it defiantly work either way as long they have the right people involved.
Lights, Camera, Action.
I think a movie could work but a tv show work too I'm fine whatever I get. I have a cousin who loves Moon Knight he would prefer a tv show but he's fine with a movie if they can get it right and not be afraid making a hard PG13. So here's my cast and crew for a Moon Knight Movie.
Jensen Ackles as Marc Spencer/Moon Knight
If you've seen my Secret Avengers cast you likely saw who I would cast as Moon Knight. To me Jensen Ackles would be perfect for Moon Knight he's awesome in Supernatural and he was great as The Red Hood.
Marc Spencer is a former Boxer, Marine Officer, and Mercenary. Marc is now Steven Grant Entrepreneur Millionaire, and Jake Lockley Cab driver, and is now Superhero and the avatar to Khonshu. Moon Knight would basically be Marvel Studios "Batman" except Moon Knight has issues and he's little more extreme. After Marc Spenncer was beat to near death by Bushmen he is revived by Khonshu the God of Vengeance and the Moon. Marc vowed to serve Khonshu as his avatar and fight the unjust and criminals. When Marc returned to America he create two alter identities to deal with criminals in the upper class and low class. Steven Grant a millionaire entrepreneur, and Jake Lockley a taxi driver but for a movie he's an Uber driver instead, besides no one uses taxi's anymore. Moon Knight's goal deliver vengeance and justice to the unjust mortals of earth.
Teresa Palmer as Marlene Alraune
Marlene was the daughter of archaeologist Peter Alraune after finding the lost temple of Khonshu. Her father Peter was killed by Bushman and she was rescued by Marc and his friend Frenchie. After Marc was saved by Khonshu she develops a romantic relationship with Marc and she vows to see Bushman pay for the murder of her father. Marlene is also skilled gymnastics, sharpshooting, and hand to hand combat. Marlene is no typical regular girlfriend she helps out through words and her fists.
Keith David as Khonshu God of Vengeance and The Moon
Khonshu the God of Vengeance and the Moon. Khonshu resurrected Marc Spencer as long as he agrees to serve him and punish the unjust, but also he's slowly driving Marc insane. The big twist is the god who gave him his powers is actually really awful guy. Khonshu would be a villain in the third film, it would be good twist.
Mahershala Ali as Bushman
Bushman was a mercenary who killed Marleene's father and beaten Marc to near death. After Marc returned to New York as Moon Knight, He craved out Bushman's face for his crimes. Bushman would be the main villain in the first film. Now I know Mahershala already played a Marvel character in Luke Cage Cottonmouth, but I feel like he was cut short and I think this would be great role for him and hey he was awesome in Moonlight. Get it Moonlight, Moonknight.....
Mathieu Amarlric as Jean Paul DuChamp aka Frenchie
A french pilot, a mercenary, and one of Marc's best friends. Frenchie and Marc have a long history with each other and have a brotherly friendship. Frenchie also builds Moon Knight's airship the Moon-Chopper and even shows Marc how to fly a plane. Frenchie also has a partner named Rob Silverman.
Nathalie Emmanuel as Jordana
Moon Knight's ex girlfriend during his time as mercenary. Jordana is a mercenary and who would appear in the second film causing a bit of a love triangle between her, Moon Knight, and Marlene.
Chris Rankin as Rob Silverman
Rob Silverman is Marc's therapist and Frenchie's partner.
Bruce Greenwood as Peter Alraune
Marlene's father who was archaeologist and was killed by Bushman after find lost a temple dedicated Khsonhu.
Liam Cunningham as Detective Flint
Detective Flint is an NYDP who deals with Moon Knight though he doesn't approve of Moon Knight's actions but he works with Moon Knight and often tries to help him.
Johnny Knoxville as Crawley
Crawley is a homeless man who is one of Jake's contacts and is very skilled in getting information on what's going on the streets which helps Moon Knight stop crimes. Crawley's first name is Bertrand. Crawley is an alcoholic and had a rough marriage and he never talks to his son. His son wants to kill him too because he blames for his wife's death.
Katey Sagal as Nedda
Marc's handmaiden who keeps the house clean at all times for him and does his laundry. Also she helps designs his costumes.
David Hyde Pierce as Sammuels.
Samuels is Marc's faithful butler but he's not like Alfred. He's just a very fateful friend who supports what Marc is doing. Oh lets face it he is Alfred.
Regina King as Gena Landers
Gene Landers is the owner of a diner and one of (Jake Lockey) Moon Knight contracts on the streets. Her sons help Moon Knight in certain missions.
Kaeith Stanfield as Ray Landers
Gene's eldest son and one of (Jake Lockley) Moon Knight contracts. Ray is also a co plot for Moon Knight's ship the Moon Chopper and it's mechanic if Frenchie is not around. He and his brother Ricky help out at their mom's diner and become scouts for Moon Knight whenever he needed them. Ray and Ricky both plan on joining the army someday.
Ashton Sanders as Ricky Landers
Gene's younger son and Ray's little brother. Ricky is a scout for Moon Knight and one of his contracts. Ricky has a job at his mom diner but also dreams of joining the army with his brother Ray, but his mom doesn't want him to join out of fear loosing both her sons.
Jamie Dorian as Randall Spencer/ShadowKnight
Randall is Marc's psychotic brother who was mercenary like him but he betrayed his brother by killing his girlfriend at the time Lisa. Randall is member of The Cult of Khonshu and is the lover of Princess Nepthys. Randall was enchanted by Princess Nepthys and was given superhuman strength and impenetrable skin. He then takes the identity of ShadowKnight the opposite of Moon Knight. He believes himself to be the living vessel of Khonshu and he's also a psychotic. ShadowKnight would be the main villain in the third film.
Steven Strait as Ryan Trent/Black Spectre
Ryan Trent is a character who feels like he never felt good enough for anything in his life. Ryan eventually become obsesses with Moon Knight slowly driving him mad. Black Spectre would be secondary villain in the second film. I think the second film should take inspiration of Warren Ellis run on Moon Knight. Basically this film has a villain you feel bad for and in a twist Moon Knight talks him out of what he's doing and Ryan gives up goes back to being normal cop tries to live his life.
Scott Adkins as Tony Masters/Taskmaster
Taskmaster would be the main villain in the second film. Taskmaster is another Marvel character many fans want to see get adapted onto the big screen and I think Moon Knight could be a good first appearance unless they put him Ant Man 3 or a Spiderman film. Tony Masters aka Taskmaster special ability is photographic reflexes by watching other people fight and duplicate their moves, hell Taskmaster even came close to beating the Avengers. Taskmaster get's hired by secret group to kill Moon Knight for reasons we don't know till the end of the second film. It's the cult of Khnonshu by the way.
Ross Lynch as Jimmy Crawley/Slasher
Crawley's messed up son who is trying to kill his dad. Now Slasher would be in the third film but he's a small villain but we do get to know the character and why he wants to kill his dad because he blames for the death of his mother.
Gemma Arterton as Princess Nepthys
Her original name was Sandahl Swarn and she worked for a company that experimented on creating the perfect agents using mind and body-alternating substances. Sandahl then took the name Princess Nepthys after the Egyptian Goddess Nepthys. Nepthys would become the leader of the cult Knonshu and has vowed to see her lover Randall Spencer become the avatar of Knoshu. Nepthys would be a secondary villain in the third film.
Now here is my choices for directors of this film.
Steven DeKnight (Daredevil, Smallville, and Angel)
Andy Muschietti (It and It Chapter 2)
Antoine Fuqua (Equalizer, Equalizer 2, and The Magnificent Seven.)
David Yates (Harry Potter Movies.)
Cary Joji Fukunaga (True Detective, Beasts of No Nation, The American)
It's hard to choose but I think any of these guys would do a great job with the film.
Now that's my cast and crew for Moon Knight Movie and before I end I'm going to list my ideas on what Marvel Studios should if they make a movie.
1. Take inspiration from Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy
Christopher Nolan's Batman films were masterpiece and if Moon Knight were to get a film, this would be the biggest inspiration for it. This trilogy shows we can get a dark gritty superhero film and make it work in PG 13.
2. Don't be afraid to go dark and if you're going to have humour make sure it fits well with the movie.
Marvel Studios is known for its humour and they don't do dark films that much until Infinity War which was a game changer. There are rumours that Marvel Studios is considering changing up their game more with like maybe thriller films or even doing more darker superhero films. All I can say is Marvel just give it try and make sure you get the right people behind this film and make sure you got Kevin Fergie with ya at all times. If you're going to have humour make sure it felts well into the film and doesn't feel forced.
3. Have Moon Knight wear different costumes through out the films.
Let's see Moon Knight wear the Mr. Knight outfit in the first film it would be cool like a Rorschach style and later near the end he dons on the costume with the cape and hood. Next film have him wear the black white costume and the last film have him wear his tradition outfit. Change up the costume in every film basically.
4. Explore Egyptian Mythology with Moon Knight.
We got to explore Norse Mythology with Thor so, why not have Moon Knight explore Egyptian mythology it be kind of cool to explore some of it.
5. Make it a superhero film were the hero is going insane.
This has never been done were, the hero who we all root for is actually becoming insane. That's never been done before unless you count Watchmen and Legion, but this could be very interesting thing to do. Marc Spencer is insane because he does suffer from split personality disorder and he hears voices in his head. We should see this in the films were we see Marc heading towards madness through the films and we're hoping he can break through it and not become insane. Just an idea like look at the show Legion and that show could have some influence on the film too.
6. Let's see Moon Knight team up with other heroes.
This is just another idea like if you have seen my Secret Avengers cast you know what I mean like do some crossovers with The Avengers, Spiderman, and Dr Strange. The only downside is don't expect Moon Knight to team up with Punisher, Daredevil, and Luke Cage.
