My Top Ten Most Hated King of the Hill Episodes.

King of the Hill was one of my favorite shows growing up. I had good laughs from the show, and I loved the characters like Boomhauer (My favorite character.) Dale, Bill, Bobby, sometimes Hank, but not Peggy was awful. She's the most hated character on the show.

So today, I will list my top ten hated episodes of this show. I can't stand to watch Episodes, and in fact, every time I see them, I just go...

That's how much I hate these episodes, and I really can't stand watching them.

10. Hank's Choice.

Okay, so Bobby is allegoric to something, and it's likely Ladybird. Hank loves his dog very much. As a dog person, I can understand him. So he builds a dog house for his dog to move into because she's an outside dog, for Bobby's sake. I find it so weird that Hank puts together a big party for this event. It's like Hank's. It's not a big deal. Your dog is going to be living outside. He even got Bill to come riding a lawnmower with sparkles and forth of July music playing.
So what does Hank do since Ladybird won't live in the dog house? He decides that Bobby should live in the dog house. It's just like what is wrong with you, Hank Hill. He's your son, and you want him to sleep in a dog house? Now there were some funny moments in this episode, but Hank is just a bad parent in this, having his own son live in a dog house because he doesn't want to give up his dog to Bill. Eventually, it all works out, and Bobby isn't allegoric to Ladybird. It was just dust, and they all lived together in the house.

9. Luanne Virgin 2.0

In this episode, Hank makes Luanne commit that she will wait before marriage and what I find frustrating is how the people at the church guilt trip everyone there for all the times they've had sex before marriage. Like there is nothing wrong with that. Its called being human. Now some people prefer to wait till marriage, that's understandable, but they shouldn't think it's wrong to have sex before marriage. But hey, these people believe in different things. I disagree with it, but there are people like this in real life.
We learn that Peggy had sex before she and Hank got married, and Hank leaves her for it. I'm all for Hank dumping Peggy, but he leaves just because she didn't tell him that hey, I'm no virgin. I had sex with my now-gay ex-boyfriend. You could understand where Hank is coming from like Peggy lied to him, and he's old-fashioned. But still, I find he overacts to this like it doesn't matter who cares. I know some might say, well, he's upset because she never told him, and he learns that he was not his wife's first, and he saved himself for her.
I just find this episode annoying to watch, and like Hank is just so irritating in this episode. Boomhauer is a womanizer, and he sleeps with a ton of ladies, and Hank never gives him crap. He wants Luanne to marry this fellow former sex addict guy because he's made the commitment. He was also voiced by Owen Wilson. Of course, Luanne does not go through with it, which is smart, and then Peggy made a virgin again if you believe that stuff actually works on ya. I really don't like this episode.
Also, I want to say having sex before marriage is not immoral. That's just being human and usually consensual between two people. What's evil is sexual assault that's immoral.

8. Death and Texas

This is an infamous episode no one talks about because, let's just say, Peggy, plays boggle with a prisoner. Let's just say it's very messed up. It has to do with cocaine, and Peggy was an idiot in this episode. That's all I need to say, and at the end, she tells Hank he owes her an apology, and Hank doesn't know what he did, but she accepts it anyway. My god, she always wants to be correct.

7. Church Hopping

Now, this episode is like, really Hank? Hank finds out the front seats in the church have been taken, and Hank personally views those seats as his seats. I'm like Hank it's church. I don't think it matters where you sit as long as you hear Rev speak. Hank decides to pull his family out of the church. He tries to find a new one, and he eventually gives up going to church. Peggy berates him for that, and so does Luanne. Luanne tells Hank, "If you don't go to church, you'll go to hell." I would look at her say, "Really, I'm going to hell for not going to church. Even though I'm a nice guy who works hard, I'm always there for my friends and family. I'm always trying to help people as best I can, and I volunteer at the Ronald McDonald house. And you think I will go to hell for not going to church?" Luanne would look at me and say, "Um..." she had nothing to say.
As Lucky mentions, he doesn't go to church, and his beliefs go with him wherever he goes. Like Luanne, you heard him say that; why are you defending him but giving Hank crap. In the end, Hank gets his seats back, but he blackmails the rev, which is like my god Hank. Hank was just annoying and insufferable in this episode. It's a church doesn't matter where you sit. It only matters that you showed up for it and are very devoted to going to the church.

I will love to see an episode of King of the Hill if it comes back where Hank meets an atheist character and the atheist calls out the problems in Hank's religion. I think Hank would say, "Yeah, and you atheists are the biggest pain asses because you talk down to every Christian. Even though those horrible crimes, acts of genocide, were committed centuries ago. But we have changed, and we don't do those things. I would never do those things and look, I get it you don't believe in God or any god, but you can at least try to see the positives of religion." I think Hank would say that to someone like that, but if the person was rude, he would say, "I'm going to kick your ass in the name of our Lord, and when you get to heaven, our lord will kick your ass for talking crap about him."

6. What Makes Bobby Run?

In this episode, many people today have said it poorly aged. Like in this episode, Bobby tries out as the team's mascot, and he just wants to entertain the crowd and get everyone excited for the game. However, he learns there's a tradition where the mascot gets beaten up by the other team for a halftime show. Now, this is so wrong, and what kind of school or town would allow this? You can't blame Bobby for running away. No one told about this, and this mascot beat down is wrong even by today's standards. In the episode, everyone looks down on and hates Bobby for running away, like the students, his own teachers, the school nurse, and even Hank is ashamed of him. This episode is just WTF is wrong with everyone, and this tradition is so outdated. In the end, of course, Bobby takes his beating because he redeems himself by stealing the other's team's pet armadillo. I also hated how Hank was excited to see his son get beat up; if I had a son or daughter, they were going to get beat up, I would stop it. It is much wrong with this episode, and let me tell you if they pulled a twist in it, and it turns out that the other team doesn't actually beat up the mascot. It's fake that would redeem the episode.
Bobby should not have been beaten up.
If they bring back the show, I think they will do an episode where they end the tradition of the mascot beat down. My idea is they ended because a kid got beaten up so badly he was in a coma for three weeks, and this school board ended this tradition. After all, they realize how wrong this was. I can see Hank not liking it, but he discovers that this is outdated and not good anymore. Because Bobby should not have been beaten up like that, man, this episode is just so wrong by today's fans.

5. Bobby Goes Nuts

Now this episode. We laugh when Bobby says, "That's my purse! I don't know you!" when he kicks Hank in the balls. It's funny, but this episode does have problems, of course, like the way Hank deals with Bobby getting bullied. Bobby is forced by Chang to eat dirt. Hank tells him to attend a YMCA boxing course so Bobby can defend himself. At one point, Bobby brings up if Hank did this fight his bullies, but Hank just laughs. This implies that Hank was a bully, and it's likely he was a bully in school. Bobby goes, but instead of boxing, he goes to Women's Self Defensive and where he learns to kick guys in the crotch the win a fight. Bobby kicks Chang and every bully in the crotch at his school, and he's now the toughest kid there.
When Principal Moss tells Hank and Peggy about Bobby beating up people, they are proud of him for doing this. Oh my god, what era are you two from? Bullying is wrong on so many levels. I would not be proud of my kid if they did this. When Bobby tells them how he wins, Hank is now shocked and mad that he was taught this; at one point, he looks at Peggy thinking she had something to do with it. LOL.
Of course, Hank decides to teach Bobby how to defend himself properly and as you can see from above, it doesn't work out. I did laugh when that happened. I mean, Hank did leave himself open. The problem is that Hank should not have encouraged Bobby to do this, not to mention Bobby gets suspended for it.
Hank punishes Bobby for this, and I'm like, Hank, its own fault you told him to go to the Y. Hank, of course, thinks Bobby was fighting dirty against his bullies, but it's like Hank his bullies don't fight fair; bullies don't fight fair in general.
Now of course Bobby is told by Kahn that he beat his dad so he is now the boss of him. Bobby tries to show he's the boss now. Peggy of course steps in and she beats Bobby and Bobby kicks in her crotch it does nothing but in real life that would still hurt a woman depending on the impact of the kick. The episode ends with Hank telling Bobby this what happens when you fight dirty. Now this a problem again Hank doesn't see bullies don't fight fair, they never do and never will and Hank of course uses Peggy to threaten Bobby into doing what he says. I really don't like this episode at all and Hank and Peggy they are being bad parents in this episode.

4. Racist Dawg

Now in this episode Hank is accused of being a racist because Ladybird attacked a repair man who is African American. However, later on it turns out Ladybird only attacked him because he was repair man because Hank hates repair man to a passion because he hates it when people try to fix things in his house. Hank doesn't want them to fix his things, he wants to fix them because he knows them best.
What really bothers me is that people just assume Hank is a racist but he's not what's more annoying is that Peggy doesn't defend him or anything she just goes with it. As well there is scene where Hank goes to the vet because he doesn't know why Ladybird bit Mack because maybe it was something else that upset her. However, the dog trainer is deeply offended by what Hank has told him because his girlfriend is African American.  He tells Hank the reason is likely he's a racist and why Ladybird attacked Mack because she picked up some habits from Hank. Sure, our dogs can pick up habits from us humans its a fact, but this trainer should have asked Hank more questions about Ladybird or ask him what this man doing that was upsetting her exactly. I wouldn't assume someone of being racist, sexist, or homophobic without finding strong evidence that supported that. If I was the dog trainer, I would have ask Hank what was Mack doing that upset her? Then I would say okay get another repair man to come to your place and lets see what happens if its a white guy. I would have easily proven that Hank was not a racist. He just hates repairmen to a passion.
However, we know Hank is not a racist the only things he's against are people who use charcoal, electric grills, people from California, repairmen, mechanics, and idiots.
Later in the episode, Hank does an online test to see if he is racist it doesn't go well for him. Peggy does the test and it goes well for her she thinks she's a saint now after taking it...my god. Then there was the church scene its so cringeworthy to watch because everyone is giving Hank the cold shoulder and stern looks.
My god I hate this character
If the show comes back we need a episode were
someone calls out Peggy like Quagmire did to Brian in
Family Guy.

Like Peggy, Hank is your husband you should defend him but she doesn't and she agrees with everyone that he might be a racist. Peggy is so awful in this episode. What's really annoying is its proven that Hank is not a racist because Ladybird attacks a white repairman this proves he's not a racist. Peggy of course is happy but she betrays herself as she believed in Hank all along. I'm like shut up Peggy you believe he was a racist too you didn't defend him at all and you're such know it all who can't admit she's wrong.
I'm just glad in the end of the show Hank goes to Mack's place and he shows Mack that Ladybird and him  are not racist. Mack pets Ladybird and sees she's a good dog. The two of them make amends for the whole event and Hank and Mack pet Ladybird together as friends.

3. Ed-Macating Lucky

This another episode were Peggy is at her worse again. Like in this episode Peggy doesn't want Luanne to spend the rest of her life with someone like Lucky.
Lucky asks Peggy for help to get his GED and I'm thinking Lucky you should have asked someone else for help. Peggy decides to help him but in truth she plans to sabotage his chances of getting a GED because she wants Luanne to go to college and make something of herself instead of being tied down to Lucky. But it's revealed that Luanne is pregnant with Lucky's child however, since Peggy helped Lucky fail even though he thinks it's his own fault. He can't marry Luanne because of his family code of honour.  Luanne is upset by this and Hank as well because you know Hank is a very old fashion guy cause in his eyes if you get someone pregnant you should marry that person.
Like Hank is very conservative and believes in the old fashion ways. Now Lucky did tell Luanne he would still be there for her and be there for their kid. Now a days most people would encourage single parenthood as well, encourage couples that they don't have to be married to have kids, they can have family without getting married.
I understand both point of views but Hank, Peggy, and people who think like them, would look down at that idea because they are old fashioned and they believe if you get someone pregnant you two have to marry or if you want a family you should get married and not have kids out of wedlock. I got friends who are married have kids and I have friends who have kids but aren't married. I understand both sides point of view on a situation like this but hey family is family.
Now getting back to the episode Peggy at first is fine with it but deep down she is not and eventually they learn all of Lucky's family members have failed achieve a goal and they were forced to marry the woman they got pregnant by shotgun. They do just that and Lucky and Luanne get engaged.
Peggy is just awful in this episode and Luanne loves Lucky doesn't matter if he has GED, she loves him very much. You know what you can have a career and have a family at the same that's something slipped through Peggy's head. This episode is just bad and Peggy once again does something that she believes is the right thing but it isn't

2. Goodbye Normal Jeans

This another episode were we see Peggy at her worse. In this episode she's jealous of Bobby from learning Home EC because Bobby wants to learn how to cook and clean. This mainly because at first Hank didn't like this idea of him learning Home EC because you know Hank he thinks real men grill and fix things, not cook in the kitchen and do laundry. Peggy supports Bobby for trying this and she thinks its great that he wants to learn this stuff.
When Peggy accidentally wrecks Hank's favourite pair of jeans, Bobby has them fixed and she's jealous of Bobby for fixing his jeans that she wrecked. Why are you jealous of your own son you encourage him to do Home EC and you're getting angry about it. Like I think it's good that Bobby is learning to cook and clean because he will be better prepared to take care of himself and to cook for his own family. As well she's angry that Bobby and Hank are bonding and to make Peggy more mad, Hank tells her that Bobby will do the cooking this Thanksgiving. Peggy does not take that well and she steals the turkey. She rides a bike all the way to see her hair designer because she thinks he's alone on Thanksgiving but he's not. He's got a wife and a son.
Eventually she comes home and Hank has all the food that she makes for him and he tells her he loves her for the love she gives to him not, what she the cooks or cleans the house for him. Which is good because you should love your spouse for the love and support they give you most of all. That is the best thing in a relationship that you love spouse for always being there for you.
However, Peggy is at her worse in this episode and she is annoying in this like there is theory that when fell from that plane and survived her ego increase do to her head hitting the ground. Its episodes like this make us not like Peggy at all she's such a bad character I mean early seasons she was pretty cool but later seasons she's so unlikeable and annoying. I hope if the show comes back they address her ego and maybe have someone call her out for all of her stupid choices she's made.

Honourable Mentions

The New Cowboy on the Block

I remember watching this episode and liking it. Until someone pointed out that Hank should have told the police about Willy's assaulting him. I mean this guy is going to do exactly what he did to Hank and the neighbourhood. No doubt Willy found a new neighbourhood to torment.  Although the squirrel tactics was so funny.

Just Another Kahn Manic Day
This episode like Hank should really learn people need to take prescription drugs for their own sake.  Hank has Kahn help him with a project and he stops Kahn from taking his pills that helps with his depression because Hank doesn't think they are good for him. But he is wrong. so very wrong in real life there will be huge consequences.

Reborn to be Wild
This another episode I don't like when Hank is forcing his son to go to Sunday School. He wants him to go Sunday school to be better behaved, but Bobby hangs out with these cool christian skateboarders. They are helping Bobby become a better kid but Hank doesn't like their ways. Hank again is an old fashion guy and he has very different beliefs. However, in the end of the episode Hank tells Bobby that he will one day grow out of this stuff and Hank is worried that one day Bobby might stop believing in god. Which is understandable to Hank he's devoted christian and he wouldn't take well if Bobby said he was an atheist now. However, Bobby does see Hank's point because we all grow out of something we love.

Pigmalion
This episode was taken off the air and I can see why it's the most messed up King of the Hill episode. Like if you want to see why give it a watch. That's all I'm going to say.

Hank's Bully
This is another honourable mention because my god the parents of this kid didn't know what they were doing. I mean this kid was annoying and ugh god this one was bad.

And now the worst King of the Hill episode is....
I rather spare water in my ear than watch this episode.

1. Uh Oh Canada
This is hands down the worst episode of King of the Hill in my opinion. I hate this episode so much. As a Canadian you can understand why I don't like this episode because its just to rip on Canada. Now look I've heard jokes made about Canada and I've laughed at them and I'm not really offended by Canadian jokes. But this episode these jokes were cringe worthy. Hank, Dale, Bill, and everyone else are at that worse in this episode they become bad neighbours to their Canadian neighbours who are staying at Boomhauer's place while he stays at their place in Canada for a trip or something.
They even call their neighbours the Canadians which is like wow that's real douche move Hank call them by their names. Not from where they are from. Now of course don't get me wrong I know the neighbour Gordon, is rude too, he's just as rude as they are but still the way everyone acted was so bad. I mean at one point the gang gets way too drunk, Hank and Gordon almost crash lawn mowers into each other but the police stop them.
Hank is set free but Gordon is big trouble since he's not a citizen. Eventually Hank and Peggy and everyone else feels bad for them because they realize they were the problem, they weren't good neighbours and they treated them badly just because they were from Canada. After Boomhauer comes home Hank and Peggy let Gordon's family stay with them because Boomhauer is back and he won't give them an extra day to stay. Now they do help Gordon and he and his family leave but he doesn't give them a proper thank you. Which was rude of him, but in the end Hank and guys agree that they were good neighbours and they did the right thing. Still it doesn't change fact that this is an awful episode like my god everyone is just awful, no one is at their best in this episode. I'm so thankful this was not the series finale instead Sirloin with Love was the finale and it was a great series finale.

So those are my top ten most hated episodes of King of the Hill.
Let me know what you think, leave comment.
As well the show might be coming back let me know what you want to see if the show come back.
As well I will do a top ten favourite episodes of King of the Hill.
