Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Review

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Review

So I saw Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and here's my review of it...I really liked it. It was a good film; if you are a big Sonic fan, you will like this film a lot. This film is better than the first film, like there's more action, they include more from the Sonic games, and there are some hilarious moments in the movie.

Can't wait to see that Knuckles spin-off their planning, and Knuckles was the best thing in this film.
This film finally brings in Sonic's two best friends, Tails and Knuckles.
Both characters are great. Tails were really cool, and Knuckles was the best thing in the film. The fight between Sonic and Knuckles was really cool, and Sonic and Tails were really funny together.
The action and special effects are excellent too like this film was way more fun than the last film. It took inspiration from Sonic the Hedgehog game, and there were some hilarious moments in the movie. The cast of this film was great Ben Schwartz was great as Sonic, Colleen O'Shaughnessy was great as Tails, and Idris Elba nailed it as Knuckles. James Marsden and Tika Sumpter did a great job too.
However, once again, Jim Carrey is one of the best characters in the film. Jim Carrey nailed it again, but if you've heard or haven't, Jim is planning to retire from acting, which is sad because he's such a great actor, but he has made a point. He's done everything. I hope he does one more Sonic film because he is fantastic as Eggman. I hear the film director said they won't recast the role if Jim quits because he says Jim is just too good to change. There are plenty of Sonic villains like Shadow the Hedgehog, Chaos, Black Doom, and Metal Sonic they could use in the next film.

Overall, I had a fun time with this film. I give Sonic the Hedgehog 2 a 7 out of 10.
It's a fun movie, and that's all it needs to be. You will have a fun time with it.

Now has this film broken the Video Game Adaption curse? I would say yes because this film was a lot of fun. Lately, there have been more good video game adaptions like Castlevania, so the curse must be lifted, but there are still some issues with these adoptions.

I haven't watched Halo, but most fans complain it's not about Master Chief, and he's sidelined. They don't like how he actually takes off his helmet, which ruins what makes the character great.
Although the Witcher is a big hit, one problem fans have for it is. It's not about Geralt fans wanting it to be about him, but he's side-lined for other characters.
