My thoughts on Marvel Officially Recasting Black Panther
So it's finally happened. Everyone in T'Challa will be recast after five years, which is what they should have done after Boseman's death. Now, there are some rumors that the film is actually recasting T'Challa Jr., but it's a rumor, and another rumor says it will be a variant. From what I read, it's a variant. Here are my thoughts on this news and what I think the recast T'Challa's role will be in Doomsday.
This T'Challa variant should be inspired by the Man Without Fear/Most Dangerous Man Alive version.
As well he's the King of the Dead.
If this is a T'Challa variant, they should have this Black Panther as a character who fought Dr. Doom, played by RDJ. He's lost everything in his universe and seeks to avenge his family and take down Doom. They should do this with the variant, and he interacts with Shuri, Nakia, and his son. It's a shock to them to see him, and they would say he looks different, but he is still T'Challa. This is my idea and after Doomsday. He remains the main MCU timeline like the Fantastic 4, and he's adjusting to his new world. Also, he's become a father to T'Challa jr, and we see him bond with his son. It's like Laura reuniting with Wolverine at the end of Deadpool and Wolverine. Even if it's not the Logan version. That's what they should do, and if you've seen my past blogs, know how I feel about this. I'm glad they are recasting T'Challa because the character should have been recast after Chadwick's death. I get why they didn't, but T'Challa needs to continue. That's my thoughts on T'Challa being recast and what the Variant story will be like. Let me know what you think. Are you happy about T'Challa being recast or not? I'm sure Shuri will still be a prominent character in the films.
