The Batman: Arkham Asylum

Here is the third film and call the third film
The Batman: Arkham Asylum

That's right the third film is an adaption of the video game Batman Arkham Asylum. Now some of may say but Batman hasn't met any of his villains yet, he's only met Penguin and Two Face well actually it's likely The Batman movie directed by Matt Reeves isn't likely to be an origin story. So it's likely Batman has already face some of enemies or has heard of them.
Now I know some of you are going to say wasn't Ben Affleck was going make something like this too but it got scrapped but I feel like it's huge missed opportunity and there have been things in the past that haven been scrapped and brought back so anything can happen.

In fact recently Matt Reeves revealed that Batman's rogues will be in the film so yeah we're going to see all the Batman villains already established in one movie.

Aidan Turner as Bruce Wayne/Batman

Aubrey Blaza as Selina Kyle/Catwoman

Finn Wolfhand as Dick Grayson/Robin

Sandie Sink as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl

Hugh Laurie as Alfred Pennyworth

Brad Pitt as Commissioner James Gordon

Rainn Wilson as Det. Harvey Bullock

Alice Braga as Det. Rennee Montoya

Coutney B. Vance as Lucius Fox

 Emily Browning as Vicki Vale

The Villains

Gustaf Skarsgard as The Joker
Joker is the main villain and this is not Jared Leto's Joker. This Joker is mix of New 52, plus Killing Joke, and The Arkham Asylum version. The Joker's origin is explain in the film and he was the Red Hood which is why Batman knows about him because he's face him before he became the Joker. I like to see the Red Hood origin get done on the big screen.

Domhnall Gleeson as Edward Nygma/The Riddler
This Riddler won't be a goof ball like Jim Carrey's Riddler. This Riddler is more like the comics and he's more inspired DC's Rebirth version of the character. He's also Joker's second in command and his personal goal to find out who Batman is. Batman has fought Riddler before in the past.

Colin O'Donoghue as Harvey Dent/Two Face
Harvey is now fully Two Face and he joins Joker's gang to take down Batman. Batman still wants to help Harvey and there is still a small chance Harvey is still in there.

Andy Serkis as The Penguin
Penguin returns to seek revenge on Batman for what happen in the first film, him and Harvey make a bit of truce and agree that Batman ruin their lives and must die.

Bryce Dallas Howard as Poison Ivy
Poison Ivy makes her big return to the big screen and don't worry it won't be like you know what. This Poison Ivy is sexy but very dangerous and is more inspired by her DC Rebirth counterpart and the video game counterpart. Batman has heard of Poison Ivy and has encounter her before.

Adrian Brody as Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow
This Scarecrow is more like the comic version and he at first looks like an honest doctor trying help people in Arkham but he's actually using fear toxic on them.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Waylon Jones/Killer Croc
The same actor who played Killer Croc from Suicide Squad is in the film and only this time Killer Croc is more CGI instead of make up I didn't like the make up personality. Batman has faced Croc in the past.

Conan Stevens as Bane and Javier Bardem as the voice of Bane
Yeah Bane is played by two actor Steven Conan is Bane but his voice is done by Javier Bardem. I want to see Bane more comic accurate don't get me wrong I love Tom Hardy's Bane I just want a really big Bane with a cool voice that you understand better. Batman has faced Bane once

I'm actually very sad about him leaving I mean it is such miss an opportunity.

It's has been confirmed that Ben has dropped out of the role and I have to say I'm sad to see him go but lets face it WB and DC were so dispersed to catch up to Marvel when they should have just taken their time and work on one film at time. Like if you want to build a cinematic universe take your time with it because slow and steady wins the race. Focus on one movie at time and set up new characters in separate movies and set up your team up movie with small references, cameos, and mid and end credit scenes. Still I hope whoever Matt Reeves casts as the next Batman is a good replacement and he does a great job. I trust Matt Reeves with this film because Dawn of the Apes and War of Apes were great movies.

That's my cast for the third Batman film let me know what you think. Leave comment and let me know what you think. Also let me know who you think the next Batman should be.
