DCU Green Lantern Fan Cast and Ideas

DCU Green Lantern Fan Cast and Ideas
Now it was announced a Green Lantern show is in the works and will be set in the DCU.
Originally the show was going to be about Alan Scott, Guy Garner, Simon Baz, Jessica Cruz, and Sinestro. But let's be honest, no one wanted it, so they rewrote it and announced the show will now focus on John Stewart. This is way better because me and many others grew up with John Stewart from the Justice League Animated series.
I prefer a John Stewart Green Lantern show over an Alan Scott and Guy Garner show.
Since the original Showrunner, Seth Smith, left after this, I recommend going with Ronald D. Moore.

First, here is my fan cast for the Green Lantern series.

Trevante Rhodes as John Stewart

Glen Powell as Hal Jordan

Luke Evans as Sinestro

Naomi Scott as Katma Tui

Nina Dobrev as Carol Ferris

Brad Garrett as Kilowog

Olivia Holt as Arisia

Sean Bena as Tomar Re

Harry Lloyd as Tomar Tu

Kunal Nayyar as Salaak

Hank Azaria as Bareer Wot

Brenda Song as Iolande

Phil LaMarr as B'dg

Clancy Brown as Ganthet

Manu Bennett as Atrocitus

Jamie Murray as Bleez

Tom Felton as John Moore/Rankorr

Sophie Turner as Laira

Ralph Ineson as Haggor

Jeff Benett as Skallox

Kevin Michael Richardson as Dex-Starr

So that's my cast for the DCU Green Lantern Show.

Here are my ideas for the

7. The series needs to learn from the mistakes of the 2011 film.
Now, this show needs to learn from the mistakes of the 2011 series. One thing the film did wrong was it was set too much on earth instead of exploring the galaxy. The show needs to be set more in outer space and in less earth time. Like 95 percent of the show needs to be set in space with one or two episodes set on earth. The first episode can be on earth and show John Stewart's origin and introduce us to Hal Jordan. Also, this series needs to explore the galaxy and the origins of the Green Lantern Corps.

6. The Red Lanterns and the Manhunters should be the villains in the first season.
The Red Lanterns, I think, would make the most sense as the first villains of the first season. If you remember the Green Lantern animated series, they were the villains in the first season. The Red Lanterns want to create rage and chaos across the galaxy. Atrocitus is the main villain of season one. He wants to destroy the Green Lantern core because he blames them for the deaths of his family and on the Manhunters created by Guardians of OA to protect to galaxy until they go rogue. The other main Red Lanterns are Laira, who was once a Green Lantern until she was expelled for murdering a criminal. She joined the Red Lanterns and vowed revenge on the Green Lantern Corps. In the show, the Red Lanterns recruit a human named John Moore, and John changes his name to Rankorr. Bleez is Atrocitus's second, and her origin story is pretty messed up. Not going into detail about her origin, but she's a terrifying villain.
The series should also feature the Manhunters too. The Manhunters were created by the Guardians of OA before the Green Lantern Corps was formed. However, the Manhunters went rogue and now do whatever they want in the name of order. The Manhunters are evil but, at the same time, have common sense. The Manhunters are also the reason for the Red Lanterns, for one of them went crazy and killed Atrocitus's family, thus leading to the creation of the Red Lantern Corps.

5. We will see future members of the Green Lantern Corps.
We will see future members of the Green Lantern Corps. In the first season, we have John and Hal; in future seasons, we will be introduced to Guy Garnder, Kyle Rayner, Simon Baz, Jessica Cruz, Jo Mullein, and Alan Scott. Each Green Lantern will also play a part in other DCU films and shows.
Also would see more Lantern corps in future seasons.

4. Sinestro will be set up as the main villain in season 2.
Sinestro will be in the first season, and he will, at first, be a good guy. Sinestro is considered one of the best Green Lanterns and a leader. Hal has a lot of respect for him, and he trained Hal. John also has respect for Sinestro's leadership but does question him sometimes. Sinestro would be like Magneto in the show. He started out good, but he goes down a darker path. At the end of the first season, he learns about the Power of Fear, and he grows to learn of the Power of Fear, and he believes that true order in the galaxy can be accomplished by fear. We would see Sinestro find the power of Fear from Parallex, setting up season 2, which would be the Sinestro Corps War. As well, his daughter Soranik would be in season 2.

3. The show needs to reboot and get Hal Jordan done right.
Now after the 2011 film that butchered the character of Hal Jordan. The show needs to have Hal Jordan and get the character right because he's one of the best Green Lanterns in comics. He's gone through hell but has returned from the dead and shown his leadership, and he never backs down from a fight. Hal has been a Green Lantern in the show for a while, and this has been year 3 for him. After a manhunter attacks Ferris Airport during an event, he meets John, who helps him in the fight. However, Hal loses his friend Tomar Re to the manhunter, but his ring goes to John. Hal then trains John, and the two of them have issues with each other, but they grow to respect each other. Hal would be a co-lead, but the series focuses mainly on John Stewart for all of this from his point of view.

2. John Stewart is the show's protagonist, and this is all from his point of view.
John Stewart is the show's protagonist, and this show focuses on his origin on how he became a Green Lantern. In the show, we also learn that John was in the Marine Corps, and he volunteers to serve as a bodyguard at the Ferris Air event and a manhunter attack. Hal goes into action, and John goes into action and fights the manhunter. Tomar Re is killed by the manhunter during the fight, but his ring goes to John for his bravery in fighting the manhunter, even without a ring. We see John train to become a Green Lantern through Hal, Kilowog, and the others. He also develops a romance with Kat, and we see him face off against Atrocitus, his first biggest foe. John is the series' point of view and will be the Green Lantern that joins the Justice League first.

1. The series should be a buddy cop series that's basically Guardians of the Galaxy meets Lethal Weapons.
I think the series should be a superhero buddy cop series, and like I mention, it's GOFTG meets Lethal Weapons. The show is about John and Hal as a co-lead. It's about these two working together to save the galaxy, and basically, you got the rookie cop and the more experience cop working together. The show should be about this, but I don't know if they will do that, but it would be a good idea.

That's my DCU Green Lantern Fan Cast and Ideas.
