It Ends With Us Review Spoilers.

My Review of It Ends With Us

So I saw It Ends With Us last night, and here's my review of it...It's a good film. This romantic drama film deals with relationships, spousal abuse, and being a good person. This film focuses on Lily, a woman who moves to Boston to open a flower shop. She meets a guy named Ryle, whom she falls in love with, and he's in love with her too, and he seems nice. However, Ryle has a lot of personal problems in his life because he killed his older brother by mistake. He does commit acts of abuse to Lilly, but Ryle isn't a bad guy. He just had many personal problems that he never got help from. Lilly also reunites with her ex from high school, Atlas, who joined the army and opened his own restaurant. She remembered how much she loved him until her dad ruined it. The film had some excellent moments, and some scenes were hard to watch, like the domestic scenes.
However, the movie still had a happy ending because she gave birth to her daughter and named her after Ryle's brother. Ultimately, Ryle promises to be a better person for his daughter, and he and Lilly divorce. I like that it didn't do the typical he's a bad guy, and he's going to be a deadbeat father; instead, we got a character who admitted his faults and worked to be a better person for his daughter. I like that they did that instead of doing the typical he's a deadbeat. I want to see more of that with father characters because I think the deadbeat dad troupe is outdated. I enjoyed all the characters in the film, including Lilly. You really feel for her and the things she goes through; Alta and Ryle's sister, Allysa, are there for her, and they are some of the best characters in this film, we could all use friends like that in our lives.

The actors all did great jobs playing their characters, like Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, Brandon Sklenar, and Hasan Minhaj. Jenny Slate was the best actor in the film; she was incredible as Allysa. This was a good film, and I'm just glad it had a happy ending. I give this movie an 8 out of 10.

My thoughts on the Orc family in Rings of Power.

My thoughts Orc Family in Rings of Power

Okay, so I've been watching the new season of Rings of Power, and so far, it's boring and bad. Now, one of the biggest surprises is this orc family.
That is my reaction. The writers of this show are trying to make orcs sympathetic. It doesn't work for Tolkien's universe because they are described as corrupt, evil beings, and I've seen theories and read discussions of there being good orcs in Middle Earth. It doesn't work because the orcs are corrupted evil beings in the Middle Earth series, and Tolkien wrote them as Morgoth's greatest sin because he tried to create life and only corrupted for evil can only corrupt.

Don't get me wrong, there are good orcs, but in different fantasy books like Warcraft, for example, have good orcs. That works because Warcraft is its own thing, and the series shows everyone is grey in that universe. There are evil orcs, but there are good orcs. Also, Elder Scrolls does the same thing. Here is a link to fantasy novels with good orcs that Amazon and other studios should adapt on the big or small screen.
Hell, there was one fantasy about an orc prince who falls in love with an elf. There is an orc who is a cowboy trying to save some people, and there is the Orc First Blood series.
It would be interesting to adapt to the orcs' sense of honor and good from different stories, not Tolkien's.
It doesn't work for Tolkien's universe, and orcs do reproduce. It's more like they are born from the ground if you have seen the movies, and they follow any dark lord. In the opening of the first episode, I fail to understand that they don't follow Sauron. In the books, they followed Sauron just like that when he took over as the new dark lord. I still found it weird that this Adar, the original character, is their leader, and it's just bad writing in my eyes.
So, honestly, the whole family or idea feels forced. It doesn't work. If it were another fantasy series, it would work because, in Tolkien's work, there are no good orcs because, again, they represent Morgoth's greatest sin of corruption, and if you want to read about good orcs, read another fantasy.
