How I would have made Phase 4 of the MCU

How I would have done Phase 4 of the MCU.

So, after seeing how Phase Four turned out and the MCU's fall from grace, there were some good things. So I'm going to show how I would have done Phase 4 of the MCU. If you liked how the MCU went, that's fine, but I think it could have been better.

Now, let's face it, the MCU didn't have a proper plan after Endgame. So here's what they should have done, or how the storylines could have been done better. Now, some of these films I won't change because I loved No Way Home, Werewolf by Night, and What If. As well I would phase 4 with a New Avengers film.

Now here is how I would have done for Phase 4.

1. I keep most of the storyline, except for a few changes
2. Instead of Quicksilver being Ralph Boner. Instead, he is Quicksilver from another universe, a mutant. This could have set up Doomsday, as he could have been a player in that story. Quicksilver could also have played a role in future MCU films, like Dr. Strange
3. Wanda would not have gotten away from the crimes she committed; instead, she would have been arrested, but she escaped, and even Monica agrees that what she did was wrong, imprisoning a whole neighbourhood. However, Wanda escapes and we get the same ending.
4. Darcy would not be in the show; there was no reason for her in the show, and SWORD aren't the villains like they were in the show. They are just saving the town.
5. The ending would be the same, except Dr. Strange would be in the show finale, helping Wanda, and this sets up Dr. Strange 2. However, the ending would be the same except that Wanda meets Nightmare at the end, who offers to help her reunite with her sons. Nightmare is played by David Tennant.

1. The show would be the same except the Flag Smashers are more evil and not sympathetic. When they kill innocent people, it's awful for them. I would not have Sam Wilson defend them, who would understand their cause but condemns them for their actions, as killing doesn't solve it. No one wants to see Captain America defends terrorists.
2. John Walker was a great character and didn't deserve any of the hate he got. That's why when the Flag Smashers kill his friend, his anger is justified, and they show no remorse in their actions. John would become the US Agent at the end of the show.
3. I would have exposed Baron Zemo as the true mastermind behind the Flag Smashers, establishing him as the real villain. I would also position him as a future antagonist in an Avengers film, orchestrating a breakout.
4. Sharon Carter would be better written, and I would make her a love interest for Bucky Barnes.
5. Also, I feel like there is actually a debate, as Bucky wanted to be Captain America but respected Steve's choice for Sam. However, one thing I would do is have Bucky get his own Captain America suit, but he calls himself the White Wolf.
6. Series ends with it setting up a fourth Captain America film but also a New Avengers film as Nick Fury tells Sam the world still needs Avengers and Sam agrees it's time for a new team.

1. The show is still the same except Loki doesn't get humiliate or humble.
2. Also, Female Loki didn't learn her magic by herself, as it's revealed that she learned it from different versions of powerful gods from the multiverse. One thing I would do is not sideline the main characters of Phase 4. This is their story, not the co-lead.
3. Owen Wilson is still the same, and the Loki Variants still happen.
4. Since Kang didn't work out, I would end with a Dr. Doom cameo in TVA.

1. What if would remain the same, but in season 2, I cut back on Kevin's love for Captain Carter. A lot of people don't like that version of Peggy, trust me, I've talked to people about it. They are sick of Captain Carter.
2. If I were to make seasons 2 and 3, I would retcon a few of the What Ifs that just weren't good and felt weird, like Darcy and Howard the Duck have a kid. Ugh. I would keep the "What if the Avengers were formed in the 80s" and "What If Iron Man went Skaar," though.
3. So instead of season 2 and 3 What Ifs, what would be if I choose would be.
1. What if the snap was reversed?
2. What if Spider-Man joined Cap's Side in Civil War?
3. What if Quicksilver had lived instead of Wanda?
4. What if Captain America were under HYDRA's control?
5. What if Iron Man fought the real deal Mandarin?
6. What if Black Widow had lived?
7. What if Bucky became Captain America?
8. What if Hulk and Thor were involved in Civil War?
9. What if The Guardians of the Galaxy became Ravengers?
See, these are What Ifs we would like to see.

1. Make it a John Wick-style film because Marvel needed to take risks even before Deadpool and Wolverine.
2. Taskmaster would be in the film, but instead, he's still Anthony Masters, played by O-T Fagbenle, but is not the villain.
3. Red Widow is the villain of the film, along with Dreykov. Red Widow would be played by Olga Kurylenko, and Red Widow makes more sense, to be honest with you.
4. Black Widow's story would stay the same, with Yelena and Red Guardian, except Melina is a villain too, and Black Widow kills her for what she did to her.
5. Also, the film should have happened around phase 3, to be honest.
6. Black Widow would have had a little help from Tony Stark after she joined Cap's side. Like when she crashes into those buildings and survives, nah, instead she is behind a barrier they saved her from Stark.
7. The ending of the film, I would have kept still, and Yelena being set up as the new Black Widow and Red Guardian takes the other widows to a safe place.

1. The film's plot is somewhat the same, except for a few changes.
2. There is no Katy; instead, we have Leiko Wu as his love interest, who is an MI6 agent.
3. Shang would get to fight Abomination.
4. Shang's sister would be in the film too, and their fight happens, except she doesn't kick him in the crotch. Also, Shang's sister's was trained by the Order of the Mother Crane instead of that nonsense of I just saw my father's men do it, and I did it better. Instead, she ran away and ended up in Kun-Lun, and she was trained by the Order of the Mother Crane. This makes more sense and sets up Iron Fist in future projects.
5. Make the film a hardcore martial arts movie similar to Enter the Dragon.
6. Mandarin is still the main villain, but instead of him trying to release the demon to bring back his wife, he wants to use it to conquer the world because, after his wife's death, he wants to take over the world. He even mentions Iron Man and pays his respects to Tony Stark after the Ten Rings, after his name, were stolen. Also, the Ten Rings would still be what they are in the films, except each has a different color.
7. Shang Chi's brother, Moving Shadow, would play a role in the film as he hates Shang and views him as weak, and his mother made their father weak. Both a brother and a sister hate Shang for personal reasons. We also get an explanation of why Shang didn't return to save his sister.
8. Shang Chi is shown to be the best fighter in the world, unlike the film, where his sister is better than him just by watching her father's men and doing it better. That's not how it's done, seriously. Cobra Kai has shown us that it takes training and learning from someone how to fight.
9. The film climax is the same except Mandarin realizes that he's in the wrong because he is blinded by his hate, and his son reasons with him. Shang defeats the demon with the Ten Rings, and his father dies. Afterward, his brother takes over the Ten Rings, while his sister, unlike him, forms the Ying Clan in memory of her late mother and uses it to help people.
10. I would have ended the film the same way as they learn about the ten rings, but Sam Wilson would meet with Shang about joining a new Avengers team. I'm setting up not an Avengers movie but a New Avengers film.

1. Ms. Marvel would stay the same, and she is a mutant. I know many fans didn't like that she was the first mutant in the MCU, since they wanted an X-Man like Cyclops, Wolverine, or Storm. However, I would have a scene where Ms. Marvel meets a mutant who's also a character, and it's revealed that it's Cyclops, since the two have a history together. This would set us up for the X-Men, though we are getting Doomsday with them.

1. Eternals, I would change a lot. For example, I would turn this into a TV series rather than a movie.
2. The series would be influenced more by Jack Kirby's work.
3. Ikaris would not be the villain of the film. In fact, he is the main character along with Sersi. The two of them have been around for centuries, as they keep out of the problems of the world.
4. I wouldn't have gender swapped three male characters; instead, I would have used other pre-existing female characters in the Eternals. I would still keep the cast but let them play different characters.
5. The villain would have been Kro and the Deviants
6. The TV series would be ten episodes, and each episode is set in a different era.
7. Personally, I would have made an Alpha Flight movie or show instead because I find those characters are a lot more fun than the Eternals. As well the team is more diverse and they had the first gay superhero Northstar.

1. Hawkeye would remain the same, except it's more focused on Clint.
2. Yelena would fight Kate instead of Clint, and Clint would fight Kingpin as well. Kingpin isn't a joke. He's actually very dangerous in this show.
3. The series would have Kate become the Hawkeye as Clint like the show spends time with his family.

Spider-Man No Way Home would remain the same.

1. Dr. Strange is the main focus of the film; he is not sidelined.
2. The film's villain would have been Nightmare instead of Wanda. Nightmare tells her he will give her a world where her sons are real, but he wants to be released to take over the world and a new Nightmare world. I would cast David Tennant or Cillian Murphy as Nightmare.
3. Instead of Chevs, I would replace her with Voodoo and Clea as his co-leads. As well, Vision would appear in the film to help Wanda and Quicksilver.
Voodoo practice in dark magic, but uses it for good, and Clea is Dr. Strange's new love interest, who helps him move past his ex. I would Lakeith Stanfield as Voodoo and keep Charlize Theron as Clea.
4. The film does explore the Multiverse, but it does it better as we see different worlds.
5. The Illuminate does appear still, but they don't die easily; instead, they fight both Nightmare and Scarlet Witch, but they kill them.
6. The film is pure horror fantasy—no holding back.
7. The film would end with Vision and his sons helping Wanda. Dr. Strange does battle with Nightmare, and with the help of the others, they defeat him. Dr. Strange is offered to be the Sorcerer Supreme again, but he turns it down and gives it to Voodoo.
8. The film would end with Dr. Strange getting the third eye, but he decides to form a team of his own. Calling them the Midnight Sons, and we get a Black Knight cameo along with a Blade cameo, too. As for Wanda she is saved in the end and helps defeat Nightmare with Vision. The two of them are reunited and they both learn that their sons have reincarnated and they need to find them. This would set up Agatha All Along and Vision Quest.

Now, there is a lot I would fix for Moon Knight.
1. The show is a street-level series, and Moon Knight does not have powers. Also, he would have a more faithful origin, and his comic support cast would be in it because I hated how they got rid of them and replaced them with these new characters, and God, I didn't like it.
2. Marc's split personality helps him take out the criminal underworld from high to low. Steven personally is not a shopkeeper or a wimp. He is a billionaire businessman and is like Bruce Wayne. Jake is a taxi driver who is rough and tough and deals with the lower class. Marc is basically the merc who deals with the middle class.
3. Bushman would be the main villain of the show, and he is like the Joker.
4. The show is darker and grittier, inspired by Steven McKnight's run on the character. This show is bloody too. Like I always said, The Batman film with Robert Pattison was everything The Moon Knight should have been.
5. There is no Scarlet, whatever, because she was more of the main character than Moon Knight was. Marlene would be his love interest, and she's way better.
6. The series would have the same episode limit, and it would explore Egyptian mythology.
7. The season would end with Moon Knight defeating Bushman, but he later meets with Dr. Strange, and this sets up the Midnight Sons. As well, next season would be Warren Ellis’s run, and we would see Mister Knight.

1. Now, for Thor, I would tell a proper God Butcher arc where it's not too silly and doesn't feel like a remake of Batman and Robin. This film is more serious but still does have humor but it's light.
2. The film Thor is not soul-searching again, and he's a badass as always, and he's not downgraded in this film.
3. Valkirye would be queen of Asgard, but in truth, she doesn't like it. She's a warrior and eventually gives the title of king back to Thor.
4. Gorr would kill more gods, and we would see him just brutalize so many gods that he just wants to kill them. Also in the comics, he had a son who died, so I would keep the son, and both his children died from a god.
5. Jane would become a Thor, but she doesn't take his name because she gets his powers. Jane would still die in the end, and during the fight, there are no kids; instead, it's four Thors like the actual god butcher comic.
6. Also, Balder the Brave would be in the film as he helps Thor along with Valkyrie.
7. Zeus is still in the film, but he's less goofy, and there is no flick scene that doesn't happen. That just felt forced.
8. Gorr is not doing what he did in the original film; he is actually planning to kill all gods with a powerful weapon that will wipe them out.
9.Hercules would appear in the film, and he and Thor would meet, and he would go to Earth with Thor, and we would get a spin-off with him.
10. Thor would become King of Asgard and the new all-father. Valiryke would die, but she dies a hero against Gorr, Balder becomes chief advisor to the throne, and Sif and Thor rekindle their romance.

1. She Hulk, I would make it less cringing and would try to make her more like Deadpool with a Better Call Saul vibe to it.
2. I wouldn't downgrade Hulk, and I would still keep She-Hulk's Origin accurate in the comics. She almost dies in accident and Bruce gives his blood and saves her. However, she's not happy at first being a hulk but is surprise that she has better control over it.
3. What makes Jennifer angry is letting down her clients who relied on her to help them, not getting catcalled on the streets. None of that. She's also more understanding of why Bruce went on the run and even says he's the reason she became a lawyer. This show would also explore a bit of Bruce's origin and how abusive his father was to him and his mother. It was those actions that made Jen want to become a lawyer and help people who victims of abuse.
Jen breaks the fourth wall, and her jokes are funnier, and she even makes references to the early comics.
4. The main villain is Titania, and she basically wants to kill Jennifer and be a better hero than her. As she is a self-centered character. As well Abomination would be a villain too.
5. Daredevil would still appear in the show, but there is no walk of shame.
6. Hulk and Abombination would have a proper fight as Hulk goes back to being savage again.
7. Skaar does appear, and he's more comic-accurate.
8. The series would end the same way, where Jen learns Hulk has a son, and Jen even wonders when she will become an Avenger. Until Matt tells her that he needs her help as he and Foggy are going to Raft to testify against Bullseye. She-Hulk looks at the screen and the audience.

Werewolf by Night would stay the same; however, the series sets up Werewolf by Night as a member of Dr. Strange's Midnight Sons.

1. Now I understand why the MCU made this film to honor Chadwick, but what I would have done was give everyone more time to heal after his passing. I would have spoken to the family and seen how his brother said that Chadwick would have wanted a recast. I would do that: recast T'Challa, but honor Chadwick, as this film is a tribute to him and continues the story of Black Panther.
2. I would cast Aidis Hodge as T'Challa/Black Panther. My other choices would have been John David Washington or Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
3. The film would use Ryan's original script of T'Challa being a father, but I would also add Storm in the film as T'Challa's new love interest.
4. Namor would be in the film still, but he would have a more comic-accurate origin. I hated that boy-raised-without-love crap; he is Namor/The Submarine, the Avenging Son.
5. I would end the film with T'Challa going to New York with his son, and he becomes a street-level hero. As he steps down as king, Shuri takes over as queen, and she would still become a black panther as she keeps Wakanda safe. Additionally, the street where T'Challa lives is called Boseman Ave, a tribute to Chadwick Boseman.
6. This film would also set up a New Avengers film with T'Challa saying good night to his son as he goes with Okoyle back to her home. Later that night T'Challa sees the Raft is being attacked and T'Challa puts on his costume and goes into battle.
7. The film's credits pay tribute to Chadwick Boseman as the film is made in his honor and to the character he brought to life.

The Guardians Holiday Special would stay the same.

Now if I were to do an epilogue film for Phase 4 I would make a New Avengers film.
1. Now, this New Avengers is loosely based on the Breakout storyline.
2. Sam Wilson/Captain America assembles a new team of Avengers. The New Avengers Roaster is Captain America, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Kate Bishop/Hawkeye, Shang-Chi, She-Hulk, and Daredevil. This group is assembled during a breakout of supervillains led by Baron Zemo at the Raft.
3. The team has trouble working together at first until they eventually do as they contiune the Avengers legacy.
4. Black Panther provides the team with a tower he bought in New York, which is the New Avengers Tower. As well T'Challa balances his life as a superhero and being a father. T'Challa would also serve as second in command of the New Avengers.
5. The film has the team hunting down Baron Zemo and his villains, and basically, this film introduces the Masters of Evil. The Masters are Baron Zemo, Viper, Scorpion, Titania, Bullseye, Moving Shadow, and Bushman.
6. The film has the team go to an island to find the Masters of Evil, where they are captured the Masters, and we get a funny scene where all the Avengers are tied up and naked, which is in the comics. It was a funny scene, and She-Hulk would say.
"Well, at least they put these bars around are privates." She turns to the screen. "Sorry fans no hardcore nudity well at least until Deadpool comes."
7. Spider-Man gets involved after the Raft, which is now in New York, gets attacked, following the events of No Way Home. Peter still misses MJ, Ned, and his Aunt May; however, he swings into action and meets with Cap, who helps, and Kate Bishop, who followed him to the Raft.
8. Sam would meet with Spider-Man and remember he was Peter Parker as he followed him and remembered that Peter was Spider-Man. Peter explains to him that Dr. Strange cast a spell to make everyone forget, and he explains everything else. Sam understands but tells them the Avengers need him, and even tells him Steve was impressed by his fighting skills. Spidey accepts the offer but asks them to keep his identity secret, and they both agree. At the end of the film, Peter reveals his identity to the team because he trusts them.
9. Daredevil joins the team as he was sent to the Raft with Foggy for a case against Bullseye and fought alongside the team. Now, in the comics, he turned down the offer to join the team because he had his own stuff going on, and he later joined them much later. In this film, he accepts the offer only to bring Bullseye back to jail. He also forms a brotherly bond with Spider-Man and remembers Peter for defending him.
10. She Hulk joins because she went with Matt to the Raft to defend a client who was accused of murder, and she happily accepted the offer to be an Avenger as long as her work doesn't get affected.
11. Kate joins because she followed Spider-Man to the Raft, and Clint recommended her for the team after she helped Sam and the others.
12. Shang Chi joins as he is with Sam during the Raft attack, and he even befriends Spider-Man and teaches Spidey how to defend himself without his spider sense. As well, Baron Zemo takes five of the ten rings from him and plans to use them to destroy the world. So Shang needs to get back the five other rings from The Masters. Shang even trains Spider-Man how to defend himself without his spider-sense.
13.The team defeats the Masters of Evil, and they are proclaimed the New Avengers. The team goes their own separate ways until they are needed again.
14. The film's mid-credits scene would tease Dr. Doom coming to the MCU. As well Valentina would appear along with Thunderbolt Ross and she would convince him to form another team with Yelena and US Agent setting up Thunderbolts.

So that's how I would have made Phase 4 of the MCU. If you like it, thanks, but if you like what Phase 4 did, that's fine too. I'm just showing you how I would have done it because Phase 4 didn't have a proper plan, and I feel like there were so many wasted opportunities. Let me know what you think?
