Dragon Age TV Series Fan Cast and Ideas

Dragon Age Tv Series Fan Cast and Ideas

So, as you know, I'm a big Dragon Age fan, but I really didn't like Veilguard; overall, I still love Dragon Age. So I'm doing a Dragon Age Fan Cast and Ideas. If I were to make a Dragon Age show, I would base it on Origins because it's the best one. Now seeing the success of The Last of US and other good video game adaptations, I think Dragon Age could work as long as it's done right.
Now Origins made the play create a character from different origins: human noble, circle mage, dalish elf, city elf, dwarf commoner, and dwarf noble. Many people wonder if there was an adaptation that originated with, but I think they could go with all the origins. However, if I had to go with one origin, let's say the studio didn't want to focus on that many characters.
So I would go with the Human Noble Origin. I know that's the default one, and I've played that one a lot, and it's my personal favorite. The human noble is male, and his default name is Aedan Cousland. Aedan is the youngest Cousland and is the last of them after his house was betrayed by Rendon Howe. He joins the Grey Wardens under Warden Commander Duncan, who saw something in Aedan. Aedan is good-hearted, heroic, funny, and he has a silver tongue. He is skilled in sword-and-shield combat, and he basically wants to see the world. He wanted to join the Wardens, which happened, but not the way he wanted, because his family was killed by Rendon Howe. However, things get worse when Loghain betrays King Cailan at Ostagar, and now Aedan and Alistair are the last of the Grey Wardens and the secret son of King Maric, and they are joined by Aedan's dog Max, Morrigan, a witch of the wilds (Aedan's love interest), Leliana, a Sister of the chairnty, Sten of the Qunari, Wynne, a mage of the circle, Zevarn of the Antivan Crows, Shale, a golem, and Ogrhen, a loveable drunk dwarf. Aedan will face many dangers and must make difficult choices that will change Ferelden for better or worse.

That's my cast for a Dragon Age TV Series.
Now here are my ideas for a Dragon Age TV Series.

6. I would look at Fallout, Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and Lord of the Rings for inspiration.
Now, for a Dragon Age TV Series, I would look at three projects here for inspiration on how to adapt it. Fallout is one of the best video game adaptations out there and is a good blueprint for adapting a video game, since we are getting a Mass Effect TV series from Amazon, too. The Lord of the Rings and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms are strong blueprints for a high fantasy epic, as both adaptations are faithful and well-received by critics and fans.

5. The series should be a ten-episode, epic dark fantasy.
Now, Dragon Age, as it is, needs to be an epic dark fantasy, set in a fantasy world with elves, dwarves, mages, and more. We see epic battles and some hardcore romance, and we want this show to be about escapism, unlike Veilguard. I would also make the series a ten-episode series. The first season covers Ostgar, Redcliffe, and Circle of Magi; the second season covers Urn of Sacard Ashes, Nature of the Beast, The Stone Prisoner, and Orzammar; and the third season is Return to Ostgar, Warden's Keep, Landsmeet, and The Blight. All episodes are each an hour long, and the last episode is two hours long, like a film.

4. The Human Noble Origin makes sense as the origin to go with.
Now, I know many fans love the other origins as do I, but I think everyone can agree that the Human Noble Origin is the best. I mean, I play the Human Noble all the time, and I prefer it, and I think it would be the best one to go with for a TV series. Now I know some might argue, why not just adapt all the origins, and everyone is happy, and let me tell you I have ideas about that, and it could work, but I feel like that would be too many characters for so many to follow, even if you have them split into different groups for the Grey Warden treaties. So I think it's best to stick with one origin because we should give character development for the companions too, like the companions' quests would be in the show too, like Alistair meeting Goldana, Killing Flemeth for Morrigan, Leliana facing Marjolaine, Sten's Sword, Zevran reuniting with the Crows, Wynne's regret, Shale's Past, and Oghren's Old Flame.

3. The series will be a lot more steamy and bloody and not afraid to go full R.
Now this show would have a lot of blood, gore, nudity, sex, swearing, and it would make Game of Thrones look harmless by comparison. Dragon Age would be considered a more mature Lord of the Rings because it features elves and dwarves. Unlike Veilguard, I wouldn't lie about stuff they said. I would keep my promise. As well, the characters fight; they will be bloody, with blood on their armor.

2. The Warden and Morrigan Romance is the best romance to go with.
The Warden's love interest is Morrigan, and in my opinion, this is the best romance in Origins. I know Alistair, Leliana, and Zevarn's romances are good too, but if I had to pick, Morrigan is the best one. The romance is also tragic because, well, if you play the game, the main reason she came with the Wardens was to get pregnant by one of them and have a child born with the soul of an old god. Despite having a romance with Morrigan, she feels regret for this because she grows to love Warden as he does to her. That's why I think it would be the best romance to adapt. As well, in the show, Aedan and Morrigan come from two different worlds and lead different lifestyles. The two of them have a passion for each other and learn about things from each other. Aedan teaches Morrigan that love is not a weakness, unlike what Flemeth taught her, that power is more important. Morrigan, at one point, wants to end her relationship because she doesn't want to hurt him, but in the end, she can't, and he doesn't want her to either, as she realizes she loves him.  The two of them would get there happy ending at the end of Witch Hunt and raise their son Kieran together.

2. The series would still respect the lore and would keep it the same.
Now, one thing I don't like is that The Rings of Power ruined Tolkien's lore. Now, Dragon Age I would respect the lore and keep it as it is, like humans are equals, except when it comes to elves and mages, they treat them like crap, and dwarves keep their gates closed, and they face the Darkspawn every day without help from humans or elves. I wouldn't make any changes to the lore except when it comes to the story I would have to pick, which outcome comes from every quest. I would also get Mike Laidlaw and David Gaider involved in the show as they know this series better than anyone.
Also I wouldn't do what Veilguard did, especially that crap, were it was revealed that demons made Loghain betray King Calian; that is just dumb in my eyes.

1. We would see Awakening, Dragon Age 2, and Inquisition get adapted as well...No Veilguard.
Now, after Origins, I would make a season of Dragon Age Awakening, and I would adapt Witch Hunt, but I would make some changes, like have more of the original characters in Witch Hunt, and end the Warden's story with him and Morrigan raising their son, Kieran. For Dragon Age 2, I would make a spin-off sequel focusing on Hawke, and I would call it Dragon Age: The Champion of Kirkwall. The same for Dragon Age: Inquisition. Basically, I would follow the approach of having the other games, but with a sequel series to Origins featuring new characters, with some old characters returning for cameos or important roles.
So that's my Dragon Age TV Series Fan Cast and Ideas.
Let me know what you think?
