Why we need a Hellboy 3.

Why we need a Hellboy 3.

So recently, Ron Perlman said he wants to make a Hellboy 3, and I know it's been 18 years since the second film, and we've had two bad reboots. I'll be honest: as much as I want a Hellboy 3, it's likely not happening, but I still want it to happen. That story needs to be completed, and I would even recommend an animated film with Del Toro involved because, let's face it, Ron is 76 years old, and all the actors have aged. Still, we need a Hellboy 3 because, as I wrote before, the two Hellboy films didn't strike gold like Del Toro's films.

We do need to see Hellboy 3; as I mentioned, they could also do an animated film. That could be a way to wrap everything up because all the actors are getting older. I think a good solution is to make Hellboy 3 in animated form, but I am down for live action because this story needs a proper ending. Look at Samurai Jack: it ended in 2005 without a proper ending, and it took years, but by 2016 they brought it back and finished the story. If it can happen to Samurai Jack, it can happen with Hellboy.

Like, I think they should have Hellboy being a father to two kids, and he is with Liz. Also, they could introduce Hellboy's father, Azazel, and have the film follow Hellboy as he faces his destiny while going against his birth father. The film could include Abe and Krauss, who help Hellboy and his family. Other Hellboy characters from the comics could appear too, like Kate Corrigan, Roger, and Ben Daimio. Also, Hellboy and Liz's kids, since they're twins, I don't know what Del Toro planned for their gender, but I would make them twin boys. Their names would be Trevor after Trevor Broom and Abe after Abe. Trevor has red skin like his father but no horns, and Abe isn't red but has a tail; they both can control fire like their mother. The film basically concludes Hellboy's story by having him save the world one last time. Hellboy's story needs a proper conclusion and to finally close the door on these films.

So that's why we need a Hellboy 3. Let me know what you think. Do you want Hellboy 3, or would you rather they reboot Hellboy again, hopefully getting it right this time?
