How would I relaunch the New Avengers title?

 
The New Avengers series got me into the Avengers because, let's face it, before the MCU. The Avengers weren't that popular back then; no one cared about them. All fans said it was a Marvel Justice League, but it was more popular in the 2000s. Eventually, Marvel introduced the New Avengers, and the new lineup had Spiderman and Wolverine to help boost sales because they were the most popular characters at the time because of the movies. There have been so many runs on the Avengers titles, and I think it's time to bring back the New Avengers title because we're getting the Avengers title relaunch. 

The team looks good, but Captain Marvel is the leader, and you know how I feel about Captain Marvel. Honestly, Wasp, Black Widow, or Photon would have been better choices as team leaders. Maybe the writer will make her likable like she was back in the 2000s.

They should relaunch the New Avengers title because that was a fan-favorite series, and I think Marvel needs to relaunch it. It could be the second alternative for fans because there is also the Savage Avengers. If I were to relaunch the New Avengers title, I would have this team put together by Luke Cage. This Avengers team will protect the city of New York as they are street-level heroes. There is a full-time street-level superhero team, and they occasionally face off against gangs, street-level villains, and big-time threats. 

Now the team rooster of the New Avengers would be...

Luke Cage Team Leader

Luke Cage forms a third Avengers team, and the series is called The New Avengers, but his Avengers are about protecting the streets of New York from villains on the streets. Luke forms the team after a bank robbery started by Hobgoblin and Hornet. He was aided by Spiderman, Wolverine, and Spider-Woman. Luke then decides to reform the New Avengers but brings back most of the team's original members, such as Spiderman, Wolverine, and Spiderwoman. Still, Hawkeye and Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist, turn down the offers and are replaced with Lin Lie, the new Iron Fist and Mockingbird, and Moon Knight. Luke's idea for the New Avengers is to protect the streets of New York and the people of New York. As he is the mayor of New York currently. 

Spiderman 

Spiderman joins the team since being a founding member of the New Avengers and rejoins the team after he helps Luke Cage fight against the Hobgoblin and Hornet. Spidey believes Hobgoblin and Hornet are working for The Rose Kingpin's son. Spiderman agrees to join to stop the Rose and his Sinister 7. 

Wolverine 

Wolverine rejoins the team and becomes second in command of the New Avengers. Wolverine learns that Cyber, now known as Hornet, is part of the Sinister 7 and working for the Rose. Wolverine has a history with Cyber and wouldn't pass up a chance to take him down.  

Spider-Woman

Spiderwoman rejoins the New Avengers reuniting with Spidey, Wolverine, and Luke Cage during their fight against Hobgoblin and the Hornet. Spider-Woman agrees to be a New Avenger again and for her son Gerry to hang out with Daniel and still have her friend Lindsay care for him.  

Lin Lie/Iron Fist 

After Iron Fist retired from the mantle, Danny turned down to rejoin the New Avengers since he is no longer Iron Fist. However, he offers Lin the new Iron Fist to join the team. Lin agrees and joins the New Avengers, making him the second Iron Fist to be an Avenger. 

Mockingbird 

Mockingbird rejoins the team since Clint is too busy leading the Thunderbolts. He recommends Barbara for the job, and she accepts being a past member of the New Avengers. It's also awkward because Barbara and Spidey used to be in a relationship, but they put teamwork first. 

Moon Knight

Moon Knight joins the New Avengers, not by request, but he joins after he is nearly killed by the Sinister 7 and his brother, aka Shadow Knight, is part of the Sinister 7. Moon Knight would remain a team member after facing off against The Rose and the Sinister 7. 

The New Avengers are back, and their first mission is to take down the Rose and his own Sinister 7. 

The Rose is the son of the Kingpin, and he decides to form a new criminal organization that will outshine his half-brother. He decides to create a deadly Sinister 7 with the most dangerous villains. His Sinister 7 is...

The Rose's Sinister 7 is a hazardous Sinister team, and they will kill anyone or anything to help The Rose get what he wants. Rose wants to take control of New York and make it into a city that obeys its betters, and the New Avengers won't let him. I would have the first story arc for seven issues. 

This New Avengers team would have more adventures after facing off against The Rose. Their next adventure is Kun Lun, for they learn that Kun Lun has been taken over and Danny Rand is being held, prisoner. Lin informs the team that Danny has been captured by Master Khan, and Kun Lun has been conquered. 

The new ruler of Kun Lun is a long-dead character in the comics, and that character is Master Khan. 

Khan has returned from the dead, and he has new powers. Khan wants to start a new war to conquer all seven heaven cities. However, he wants the power of the Iron Fist, not just Danny or Lin. He wants all the power of the seven holy kingdoms.

This is where the team goes outside New York, but they only leave New York to save a friend and another city. That's what the Avengers do. However, New Avengers get help from Danny's girlfriend, Misty Knight, and ex-girlfriend Colleen Wigg. 

When the New Avengers arrive at Kun Lun, they will have many challenges and magical foes. It won't be easy for Master Khan wants to break their spirits instead of killing them.

This storyline would last for six issues.

Now, like most Avengers teams, one or two members always leave the team after the events of saving Kun-Lun and another major Marvel event. 

So the two Avengers who leave the team are Wolverine and Mockingbird. Wolverine leaves the team because he needs to focus on X-Men for a while, and Mockingbird leaves the team to rejoin SHIELD.

They are replaced by 

Daredevil and Misty Knight.

The next storyline focuses on the team is Who shot Jessica Jones?

Jessica Jones gets shot by Jigsaw, but it turns out Jigsaw is working for someone who wants to get rid of Luke as mayor of New York. The New Avengers must find out who did this. Luke Cage, especially since his wife got shot, won't stop till he finds the person responsible for this and kill them.

Don't worry. Jessica Jones wouldn't be killed off, just severely hurt. There are five suspects.

This storyline would be five issues. 

Those are my top storylines for a New Avengers Relaunch, and I got to say I would love to see New Avengers get a relaunched series, but I will be worried about the current state of Marvel. Still, I hope you all enjoyed my New Avengers relaunch series.
