Rat Race Review

My Rat Race Review

Here's my review of a comedy classic called Rat Race. I remember watching this movie a lot as a kid, and it was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Rat Race is a movie about a group that enters a contest hosted by Donald Sinclair, a greedy hotel and casino owner played by the always funny John Cleese. He tells the group that whoever can get to Silver City, New Mexico, first and open a locker called 001 will receive two million dollars. Each of the characters in the race has their own wacky adventures, and they want this money to solve their own problems because they are down on their luck and want to improve their lives. This film has a all-star comedy cast besides John Cleese, you got Rowan Atkinson who plays Enrico he is one of the funniest characters in the movie; Whoopii Goldberg, who's fantastic as always; Breckin Meyer, Amy Smart; Cuba Gooding Jr, Jon Lovitz, Lanei Chapman, Seth Green, Wayne Knight, Kathy Najimy, and Vince Lieluf. This movie made me laugh so hard, and it's unlikely that a comedy like this could be made nowadays because it contains some offensive material. However, overall, this film is well worth watching.

It's weird to think that these actors are now in their 70s, and 50s now.

Additionally, the movie's theme song tends to get stuck in your head. This is a classic film from the 2000s, and it's worth watching. The ending of the film is effective because they realize they should use the money to help others instead of themselves. I love this film, and I give it an 8 out of 10. If you're feeling nostalgic for funny 2000s comedy, I recommend this movie.
