King of the Hill Season 14 Review

King of the Hill Season 14 Review
So I saw the King of the Hill Season 14, and it's great having the King back. The new season of King of the Hill was great, like it was funny, like one scene had me laughing, it had good storylines of Hank, Peggy, and Bobby adjusting to a new world, and I got to say I love the time skip they did, it works unlike other shows that don't do time skips.

The series is set years after the finale, and we see Hank and Peggy returning from Saudia Arba back to Arlen, and there's a lot of change that Hank doesn't like, but he grows to accept it. This show brings back old characters that we love, like Boomhauer, who's now a stepdad, Bill, and one of his story arcs is so funny, and of course, Dale is back and he was mayor of Arlen, and this time he's voiced by Toby Huss, and he does a great job taking over from the late Johnny Hardwick. Also, Kahn comes back, and people will be shocked to know what's happened to him. We have new characters like Emilio, who works with Bobby. He's funny, and Brian Roberston is voiced by the legendary Keith David. As well, GH returns in the show, and he's much older, and there is an excellent episode with him and Hank that is one of the best episodes.
This season starts out great, and I love how Bobby owns his own fusion-style Japanese/German restaurant and how he and Joseph are roommates. They did recast some of the characters, but they worked; they did a great job voicing their characters. I love Kahn's new voice actor, Ronny Chieng. He does a great job, and I like how Bobby is still close with his friends and even becomes friends with Chang, his former bully.
King of the Hill is off to a great start, and two episodes pay tribute to Johnny Hardwick and Jonathan Joss, who played John Redcorn. They will likely retire John Redcorn next season or recast the character, as they have done before.
These two will never be forgotten.

Now, as for Luanne and Lucky, they don't appear in this season, nor is there a mention of them, which I'm a little disappointed by. Still, it was best for the writers not to mention them; they should be retired. Still, they could have at least mentioned them. Like oh, they moved away to Montana. After Peggy's parents died they left the ranch to Luanne, Luanne now lives there. Luanne runs her beauty salon as well and fixes cars part-time. Lucky runs the ranch. I would have liked that, but in a future season, they could reveal what happened to them, or they could have Gracie next season as a new character on the show, like GH.
Everyone, King of the Hill is back, and it is incredible. If you get the chance, watch it. King of the Hill is also how to do a proper revival of a show that doesn't feel forced or is brought back; it just isn't as good as it used to be. I give this show a 10 out of 10. Go watch it.
