Asteroid City Review
So I saw Asteroid City yesterday, and here's my review of it. I enjoyed this film a lot; it was fun, but also typical of a Wes Anderson film, where the plot is confusing, yet you still enjoy it. This film features an all-star cast and is about a group of people who become trapped in Asteroid City after the military detects an alien presence, rendering them unable to leave. The film is mainly about Augie Steenbeck, a widower who takes his son and three daughters to stay with his father-in-law, who doesn't like him after his wife's death. As well we meet other characters too like Midge, Stanley Zak, and Dr. Hickenlooper, J.J Kellogg, Montana, and June. The film boasts great cinematography, and the acting is fantastic, thanks to a great cast of actors. I had a fun time watching this movie because it contains heartfelt moments and humorous moments. I give Asteroid City an 8 out of 10.
