My Top Seven Favourite Wes Anderson films

My Top Seven Favourite Wes Anderson films.

Now, as a big fan of Wes Anderson films, which are weird but fantastic. Here is my top Seven favourite Wes Anderson films by this genius director.

7. The Darjeeling Limited

Now I know some people argue that this was Wes Anderson's weakest film but I really enjoy it. The film is about three brothers named Francis, Peter, and Jack, who haven't spoken to each other in a year, as they reunite on a train in India. This reunion was actually planned by Francis, who wants them to visit their mother. The brothers all go through their own personal problems, like Peter is becoming a father and he's nervous about it, Francis is recovering from a motorcycle accident, and Jack still can't get over his ex-girlfriend. The film is about these three characters bonding and being there for each other. This film had both funny and heartfelt moments. It's a good film about brothers and learning to accept change and move on from past relationships or events.

6. The Phoenician Scheme
Now I saw the Phenician Scheme this summer and I did enjoy it a lot like the cast was great but the film is hard to follow. Overall, I did enjoy this film a lot, and I hope Michael Cera gets an Oscar nomination. He was one of the best characters in the movie.

5. Asteroid City
Asteroid City is a great film, and it's about a group of people who are trapped in a small town after they encounter an alien that is covered up by the US Government. This film had some funny moments, and it's a well-written movie. It's one of Anderson's best films and I highly recommend it.

4. Rushmore
Rushmore is one of Wes Anderson's first films, and it's a great coming-of-age story. It also launched Jason Schwartzman's career. This was also one of the funniest films I've watched as it focus on Max a 15 year old at Rushmore Academy whose not happy with being in the middle class as Rushmore is a rich school. He seeks to make a name for himself and become a successful. He befriends two of his classmates, Dad named Herman Blume, which, to be honest, is weird that he makes friends with the dad instead of the two boys in his class. Max is in love with a teacher at Rushmore named Rosemary Cross, a first-grade teacher. However, she turns him down, and he doesn't take it well. He, of course, gets expelled from Rushmore and goes to a public school where he writes his play and falls in love with a girl his own age named Margaret Yang, and she's such a great character. This film is both funny and one of Wes Anderson's best.

3. Grand Budapest Hotel
I love the Grand Budapest Hotel; it is so well-made, and it's funny. All the editing of the film is brilliant. The film is about a hotel manager who is accused of murder since he was romanticlly invole with his an old weathly woman. It's a good murder mystery film, and it's also quite funny. This film was entertaining to watch and was shot perfectly, one of Wes's best films.

2. Fantastic Mr. Fox
This is one of my favourite animated films ever, like Fantastic Mr. Fox, which is such a great film. I've watched it so many times, and it's a brilliant adaptation of Roald Dahl's book. The film is about Mr. Fox, who decides to steal some chickens, cider, and goose liver from three farmers named Beans, Boggins, and Bunce. However, it backfires as the farmers want to kill him and his family. This is one of the top-rated films to watch on Disney+, and I love Fantastic Mr. Fox because it's a feel-good film, and the animation is fantastic.

and the best Wes Anderson film is...

1. Isle of Dogs
This is one of Wes Anderson's best films to date because it's the most heartwarming story about dogs. The film is about a boy who goes to Garbage Island to find his dogs, as all dogs have been sent there because they have a disease, and this group of kids is trying to save them. This film, as I wrote, is heartwarming and will likely make you cry because it showcases the immense love we have for dogs in general. I recommend watching this film as it is the best Wes Anderson film and the cast of this film is spot on.

It really makes you love your dog no matter what.

That's my Top Seven Favourite Wes Anderson films
